The next day, one of the pawns following Boulei, notified Dred and told him he was coming towards the mansion. My upgraded ID card has also been done, so Dred and I became nobles officially. The only problem was that unless we turned Anna into a pawn or a corpse, we wouldn't be able to do much with the title. And the worst was that neither of us could do as much as sleep there!
Since Anna refused to go out with his 'old lover, the one she fell for in the past’, saying that she wanted to spend more time alone with her family, I had to 'accidentally’ bump into Boulei once again.
This time his brothers didn't accompany him, but that was the only good thing about all this. Luck didn't side with me often…
I turned a corner knowing that he was coming and stopped in front of him, faking a surprised face.
“Hahahaha, I was on the way to your place,” he broke into a fit of laughter.
“And I was about to go out of the city to hunt a few monsters,” I replied with a smile. “Coincidences sure are amazing.”
“It must be fate, to run into each other three times,” he said in a meaningful tone.
“If not for knowing better, I’d be thinking that you were following me,” I chuckled.
His eyes opened wide and he hurriedly said, “No, no. I swear I’m not-”
“Haha, I know. No need to get all flustered. I’d have known if you were following me,” I said with a small smile.
“Missy must be very popular with your beauty and talent,” he complained me in my face for the first time.
“You jest, I’m nothing amazing like that,” I covered the left half of my face with my hand and recalled something embarrassing to make a flustered look. Seeing that he was completely focused on me and his pupils seemed to be a bit wider than usual, I was quite sure I captured him.
“We could go to my place, but why don’t we go somewhere else instead?” I asked.
“Is that a date?” he winked at me.
“NO! That’s work, though he doesn’t have to know it,” I told Dred.
“Don’t worry, I know,” he returned a chuckle and then turned silent.
“I-If that’s what you want,” I said in a low voice and avoided eye contact. He sternly focused on me and gazed at me as if he was trying to burn a hole in my face. I couldn’t help but think that he really wanted to just push me down and have sex with me, but I didn’t have to worry about him since he surely realised by now that I was a noble and I was also stronger than him.
“Missy-”
“Elena,” I said firmly.
Nodding his head, he corrected himself, “Alright, Elena. Is there any specific place where you’d like to go?”
“Let’s see, I have a few places I’d like to visit,” I said with a smile. In about two hours, we visited an elixir shop where I wanted to buy two of bottles of one of a kind, but he paid for it instead. After that, we went to a restaurant, and finally, we visited a park in the city to take a breather. He seemed to have some reserves which made me happy. Now we had some income through Jareg and our noble titles and if I turned someone into my pawn, I’d definitely get my hands on their possession. Well, it wasn’t like I needed it to have fun and live a carefree life, unlike others…
In the end, we went to an Inn where he booked a room for the two of us after I suggested it. He was all happy to oblige, but when I told him that the elixir would put us to sleep, he seemed to be turned off. I wanted to laugh at him, but it would have been inappropriate… Without his notice, when I entered the restroom in the restaurant, I put a few drops of Liz’s blood into both of them. It couldn’t be helped that everyone was becoming her pawn, the others were occupied with their trashy jobs. Well, some of them left their jobs already, but they were instructed to move to the Shikanai Dynasty and infiltrate it.
Afraid that he’d try to stay awake and make a move on me ‘in my sleep’, I went ahead and sat down on the side of the bed, with the bottle of elixir in my hand. Looking at him from the corner of my eye, I mused, “It’s said that if you drink this, once you wake up, your body will feel hot. I wonder about that.”
His downhearted expression perished instantly and he winked at me, “I’ll definitely help you.”

“That’s good to hear~”
He laid down on the bed next to me and drank the whole bottle. I drank it right after him and also laid down with my eyes almost closed. After waiting a few seconds, I heard his breathing turn stable and regular. I sprung up from the bed and walked up to Boulei and poked his face to see if he was really asleep, just in case. Seeing that he didn’t react even after I slapped him, Dred came out of my shadow as well.
“Alright, he’s going to be of key importance in our plans. He and his brothers will have to befriend as many of them as possible and make them drink our ‘elixir’,” Dred laughed.
“Yeah, if only these old geezers knowing everything weren’t here, we could have set up an elixir store and lie about the contents of the elixir. Just a few pawns would have been enough to spread good words and then we’d have taken over the whole city. If only we did that back on Dink and Dunk as well instead of all that troublesome investigation,” I shook my head, my heart in pain just from remembering it. We had to infiltrate every mansion, the life of every person, and investigate their secrets.
Although my army was a few tens of thousands of people large, it meant nothing in a huge city like this one. But however I looked at it, my infiltration was bound to work out with so many people here, even if I sent more than half of them to hunt monsters since all of them dropped world crystals while some of them even hoarded it. I was expecting to see a large sum of world crystals in the near future, all in our possession.
Boulei woke up in about five minutes, which proved that his natural talent was actually quite high as well. He got out of bed and knelt down in front of Dred and me, his eyes filled with crazed respect. My blood truly killed people, in a meaning.
“Are you still lusting after me?” I asked out of curiosity since I’ve never turned anyone who felt like that towards me into a pawn.
“There is no way I’d feel like that towards the Queen. This lowly one would never be worthy enough to touch the Queen!” he flared up as if I said something offending. Stepping closer, I patted the top of his head and said, “Alright, I was just curious. Here is your first task.” I told him the details through the soul realm since it was much quicker than talking in reality. I could tell even a minutes worth of speech in just a second because my mind was much quicker than my body. A side effect of high intelligence and wisdom stat points.
“I understand, Master,” he bowed his head and then stood up to leave with those two bottles of elixir. He’d have no trouble behaving like he did before his change since my blood didn’t make them forget their old personalities. Since the room was booked anyway, I stayed there with Dred and used the soul realm to see through Boulei’s eyes and see what he’d do.
---
He went straight to the dormitory and entered the room he shared with his brothers. Since there were three people in a room, unless one paid for a single room, like that Soul Artist Emily did, the brothers had a good time. After all, they spent most of their time together and were used to each other’s bad habits, which definitely wouldn’t be the case with an outsider.
“Hi, already back?” Gin said with a grin.
“Hahaha, he must have been dumped,” Han laughed.
“You’re both wrong!” Boulei stuck out his chest with pride. “We actually booked a room in an Inn,” he winked at them.
“WHAT?” Gin shouted in surprise.
“As expected of big brother, you can hook up even a noble lady,” Han shook his head.
“I wasn’t hooked, though,” I chuckled in my mind.
“Ah, right, she sent you two a present,” Boulei pulled out those two bottles of red ‘elixir’ from behind his back and showed it to his brothers.
“What is that?” Han raised his brows with interest.
“It’s a rather high-grade elixir, so much that it puts one to sleep after drinking it! Although it doesn’t take more than five minutes, the changes are incredible! I dare you two to attack me, you’ll see how much stronger I’ve become!” Boulei flaunted as he was supposed to.
Excited to become stronger, Han took one of the bottles out of his hands and after taking off the lid, sniffed it. “It doesn’t really have much of a smell. It smells like… strawberry juice? I think. Yeah, something like that,” after taking another few sips, he downed it all in one go.
“Seriously, you can’t even wait. Just how greedy can you be?” Gin shook his head.
“U-Uwah, this is really… strong-” Han staggered and sat down on the bed. He actually fell asleep sitting. Boulei gently pushed him down and then gave the other bottle to Gin.
“Drink it whenever you want to, though you may end up losing to us if you wait too much,” Boulei chuckled.
“Nah, you two are too weak to leave this talented me behind,” Gin opened the lid and after sniffing it, he drank it as well. Poor ‘village bumpkins’ never heard of people drugging other people. Well, Boulei surely didn’t expect anything like that to happen on our first ‘date’, much less from a bottle of elixir he bought.
“Hmm, it tastes like iron, a bit,” Gin licked his lips. His eyelids drooped and in just a few moments, he fell asleep.
Cracking his knuckles and his neck, Boulei muttered, “Alright, I finished Master’s task. Since she’s going to sense the new connection, she’ll surely instruct these two. I should get going and befriend a few people. Ah, but I need more strawberry juice…”
“Well, let’s go shopping then!”
Nodding my head, I stopped observing him, only to hear Jareg’s happy voice in my mind. “Master! I have good news!”
After hearing him give me a detailed report of the situation, I moved back to the Greywing mansion with Dred. After having a lovely time in bed with Anna, Jareg served her with some drink, which naturally, contained Liz’s blood. Probably thinking that she was just tired after it, Anna paid the tiredness no heed and fell asleep. While listening to Jareg’s report, I also felt connections form with the Warton brothers and Anna as well.
The plague that was my blood was spreading quickly, and the best was that nobody knew about it. Well, they’d surely notice soon, but it’d be too late at that time!
