Elvira was sitting about watching the humans walking around the room, checking things off Masters clipboard moving around the room to pieces of equipment. Every time they tried something to touch master, I'd make sure they knew where they stood.
She trained them well so that whenever they approached the master, they'd first explain what they were doing. They waited until Elvira would take the measure of the person and after a short while, she'd nod and would allow the nurse or doctor to approach. Eventually, Elvira could identify everyone in the room and made them wait a decreasingly shorter time between each task they need to perform.
She'd perched her above Alan bed on the curtain rail that had been put up in their temporary surgical recovery room. The nurse and doctor knew she was there and they looked up and explained themselves, then they'd open the flap and do their task.
Where she'd continue watching them intensely, she knew that she made them nervous and scared. She'd even asked a few of them if they were frightened of her, they, of course, lied through their teeth as their blood pressure and heart rate increased whenever they were close to her, smelled them and tasted them from so far away.
There was this one nurse who didn't seem to be scared all that much. She'd confused Elvira with her ability to ignore everything about her to do her task. She was perhaps the only one in the room that had never asked for permission to approach Alan.
Elvira had confronted her before the first time she'd walked up to Alan. Elvira saw her as a threat and jumped forward, getting in her way. That was the first and last time she felt her heart rate increase, and it was only for a few moments.
Elvira had to look up and pass the bust of the woman was glaring down at her with cold eyes. They'd stayed like that for a while until She blinked so coolly Elvira realised that she too was a predator. Who wouldn't do anything to Alan as she'd of already done so?
Smiling, showing her massive fangs, she knew she was human with all of the downfalls and advantages. Mostly disadvantages in Elvira opinion, the only benefits from a human were the two gods she served where once human. Apart from them, she saw no other advantage to being human. Having been impressed by a human nerve, she offered the one thing she could. "Do you want to become more than human, better, faster and stronger than any other human?"
The first time Elvira had seen any type of reaction, and it was one of curiosity. In a more resonant voice, then what Elvira was expecting was, "What would I be then?"
"You'd be like me, able to rip a man in two, jump off buildings without hurting yourself and then jump right back to top of them."
"But that'll mean I'll have to spill, and feel pain!"
Elvira flashed her fangs, "Oh any pain you might feel is of the greatest pleasure. You'll be bound to a strong master, keeping you in your place for the blood lust will override any hope of living beyond the pleasure, you'll need him to break you and dominate you."
There was a slight creeping smile blooming on the nurses face as she found something she very much enjoyed the thought of.
"But the blood, the gore?"
"You'll love it even more than anything else, you already don't mind it a bit of blood it excites you!" Elvira had listened to the nurse's heart, hearing it pounding rapidly increasing as she spoke.
It seemed that her own excitement had frightened her. The human instincts flared up as she fled, walking away, not allowing her instincts to control her body.
Watching her flee, Elvira could see the excitement showing through that she wished to do it. Still, her humanity would fight for a while before she came back and begs Elvira just like the few others she'd propositioned.
It was a fantastic ability that her creator gave her, it was an instinct to find good women to turn into graceful beasts. Then gave her away to use pheromones to put the thoughts into their heads to make them more susceptible, and it'll gouge it into their mind. Unfortunately, she couldn't force them to serve. But the combination of the two compatible people with a suggestive will do it.
She'd already had seen several visitors pay the price, and form the bond. Master will be pleased, she's ecstatic as well being the elder and creating a clan. It was a wonder to watch the transformation in their attitudes and looks. They all managed to form a healthy bond with the master. She slightly hopes that master won't notice, but he'll be followed around by more than pointless human guards.
Then there were those powerplays stupid human women who sought her master purely for the power he held within his grasped. She'd already run them off several times. They did not listen, and she'd offer them the bite and ability to become master slaves. Still, they declined because they wanted power without the work.
She'd decided that if she sees them again and Elvira will warn them once more and if they don't retreat she'll force the change on them and whether they become a monster or a beast will be up to them.
It was the progress of vampires she simply knew, in the beginning, you were the slave ordered loved and cared for. Before more power and responsibly would be thrust upon them growing through rank before becoming the elder who can make decisions for the clan and let new people into the family. Two things could happen after that either a great elder could form, or they could go and make a new clan in their own image.
And that's the opportunity she'd been given. The master knew not of the life of a vampire the biological drive built into them; Alan only concerned himself with her pleasure and love, as any good master should.
So it allowed her the opportunity to build her own clan to please her master she'd decide to make a large clan with multiple great elders. Her master was always getting himself into trouble they'd need a lot of bodies to throw at the problems he'd create. As for a flashy, reputable clan, the master will do that on his lonesome without any need for flowery and famous vampires. She was hoping to build first a hidden vampire clan that'll blend in wherever they may live. To serve from the shadows, she also needs to make sure that master as the god he is has nothing of ugliness within his sight. So it'll be a female-only clan formed of the prettiest ladies in the world.
If Elvira was honest, she really liked the idea more than her master would. Still, she realised that it would be odd and might cause problems if there were only women who didn't like what that. Elvira didn't think Alan would want to feel surrounded by femininity and accusations, so she was waiting for a handsome young man to come along.
They had to be sure they didn't get any big heads being so close to the master, so an unambitious man was needed. That was the most problematic most people who'd want to become vampires were ambitious or a fantasist.

Elvira promised herself that she'd look for one but not very hard. Either way, she was stuck beside her master until he woke up, and as the majority of nurses are women, she didn't have many options to work from. There were only like four males in the area, and none of them would've been suitable.
After Elvira had retaken her position on the railing and watched, waited for her master to awaken. She didn't know how long it'd been days and night was meaningless to her and immortal being fussing over a bit of time would've been pathetic. It did mean she could think, plan and have her new underlings do some work and things were progressing well, and she'd have secured a way out if one was needed. Her creator was very pleased with her growing a clan of my own and told me to take good care of Alan.
It wasn't all good though the world had become considerably tenser the nurse walked around looking over their shoulder. The soldiers had been moving about with a little more awareness than previously. She'd scouted a bit and ordered her minions to find out what was up. They came back claiming that some doctors that had been in an experiment and had been taken over by aliens. They couldn't find some of the scientists that were in the room. It's believed that some had escaped to the city and were fleeing.
When Elvira asked why the slave answered, "They don't know!"
This had left Elvira slightly confused and sent a message to Michael telling him that something might have escaped into the city and that it could be a threat. Although She hadn't received a piece of news from him that they'd found anything weird in the city and they had everything pretty well locked down which meant two things. One they were a powerful being which could avoid all detection from everyone. Even Mr Shade then they were in trouble or two they hadn't left the tower and were hiding inside for whatever reason.
Elvira then ordered that the minions were to scour the entire building and when they found the missing people to call the army guy to be the cannon fodder. Since she didn't want to lose any of her precious slaves.
They weren't that easy to be found as it turned out. It took about a day before one of her minions returned with news saying they'd found an empty corpse it was as if they'd just peeled off an outer layer and moved on. Considering the developments, Elvira simply assumed the worst and they'd either moved bodies and had grown enough to be a physical threat.
Either way, she wasn't about to take a chance on Alan's life. So after stuffing her smallest vampires down the air vents to attack anything that came through them, it only took the breaking of a few bones. Elvira hoped that the vampire she'd squished in there would survive as they were one of the cuties Elvira had managed to capture.
All the while Elvira had stayed perched atop the rail as light as air, and nobody ever looked up. The Commander came in strolling with purpose, he immediately looked up lock onto her. She smiled as she remembered the first time she'd seen him a warrior born of many battles. She had respect for the smell of blood that one put to shame her creators, and he was the bloodiest playing in guts and understanding.
That was the difference between the two of the bloodiest people she knew. One had no understanding and tried to divine the answers, the other knew it all and was always trying to clean one's hands. One had never killed anything in his life, the other had rung the very blood out of someone's body with his own hand, and they were covered in that sharpness her master and creator had. If she had anything to do with them, they'd smell as gleefully as the Commander.
As he stopped at the entrance to Alan's bed, he didn't stop because she could stop him, but because he was here for her. "Elvira, I've got a message for Alan when he wakes up if you could give it to him."
With a flash, the letter had disappeared down Elvira's bosom safe, only death would part them. But it seemed that Boris hadn't finished, "Elvira, I know you've turned several of my and building staff into vampires, and they're now working for you. I don't so long as you're working for Alan but thank you for finding one of the missing Scientists. If you don't mind, I'd like to ask what you think of the situation?"
Elvira looked Boris up and down, a little shocked that he was asking her, she didn't nearly have the apparent experience of the person before her. Why would he ask, Weakness no he's definitely not weak she could take on half the building with her small squad of vampire they'd be riddled with bullets. No, perhaps it is a strength to ask for information from an opposing individual with a different window. It would help avoid unseen hazards that one side may see while the other is blind too.
Her mind raced, her respect for Commander Boris only grew, perhaps she should learn from him watch him and learn. He'd been standing their complete unabashed waiting patiently for his answers for fifteen minutes before she answered. "I no not why you ask, but I was told that it was a husk of the flesh bag. Well, my creator made many creatures one of having several stages of life from an egg to a burrower, infant, adult and elder. Each got strong and more dangerous. The burrower digs itself into any living being and grows into an infant which bursts out, and it then devours the body and grows from there. It could be something like that where a being had been resting inside them before bursting out to cause damage. Also if I remember rightly their more, then one and you caught quite a few of them, so maybe they try to distract you and break their fellows out to cause chaos or achieve an objective."
Commander Boris went over this, nodding his thanks he moved off as man on a mission. "Commander is it true that Gareth had made a cure to the Supers."
He stopped, turned and spoke, "Yes, it's true, but he says that they need to be inoculated at the same time to avoid repeated remissions. He talked a lot about crazy stuff, so it's being double-checked. If I was you, I would let anyone near Alan who's going to inject him with anything."
She was already not allowed to inject him without having it passed through her. She thanked the Commander as he walked out of the room to do whatever he needed. Still, Elvira realised terrible things were going to happen soon, and she needed to be in top shape.
Looking over toward the blood supply, she was given she drank several litres and asked the staff if she could get some more they disagree. The extra blood in her system would allow her to regenerate quicker and be a little stronger. The saying a hungry man could do anything as a starving vampire was many times stronger through simple need.
She'd keep herself on top form, throughout the night the patient waited for the hammer to drop. It did as the bell tolled midnight she saw someone walking down the corridor into the recovery room, being watched and followed by Elvira minions. They hadn't attacked because the person was wearing a doctors uniform, the thing was Elvira, and the others didn't recognise her, as the doctor strutted down the corridor. It wasn't impossible for someone new to get brought in.
However, the night doctors weren't the most desirable time to work. So they rarely changed, but Elvira hadn't been here very long so she could've easily missed someone.
The doctor wasn't doing herself any good as she walked straight to Alan bed without grabbing anything. She was already holding a needle as if Elvira wasn't there; she walked into Alan's space. She definitely knew that everyone was and had been taught that if they were going to be caring for Alan to ask Elvira for permission.
Jumping down onto Alan's bed jostling him, Elvira grasped the hand that had gone to stab Alan with. To Elvira's surprise, the woman gave a short hiss and demanded to know who I was. "I'm Alan's guardian, and if you want to do anything to Alan, then you need to go through me first!"
"You've no say in how I treat patients unhand me now!"
Elvira's eyes turned crimson, and her teeth flicked out in disgust and Elvira had wondered what had bothered her, and it was that she didn't have a heartbeat.
The women seemed to realise that the jig was up and said, "What's a blood vampire doing here so early? Nevermind it looks like this time it's going to be the hard way, now die vermin!"
With a swing of the women's arm and Elvira was launched across the room hitting several pieces of apparatus. Still, Elvira was up and ready, as she threw herself right back across the room, her eyes shining and teeth dripping. The minions were arriving to assist, and the commotion had also caught the attention of the human guards.
Elvira had smashed into the heartless women side, breaking several of her ribs. As Evira had ruined the quiet surprise, she went to grab at Alan's throat but with Elvira body slammed her. The only thing she could do was pull the life support system that was monitoring Alan health and adjusting for any differences. With a piece of equipment removed, they started beeping, alarms and warning light went off bathing the darkroom in red.
The colour change only helped Elvira dive further into the bloodlust ripping and tearing into the monster in front of her, not giving a momentary pause. She couldn't release the Heartless to help Alan since Elvira would get taken from behind. Regardless of the ferocity of her attacks, they were only skin deep and bleed slightly. As the heartless adjusted to Elvira speed and strength, Elvira found herself bleeding.
Everything Elvira had done was pointless she'd gone for the eye-gouging them out and chewing them in front of the heartless, and they did nothing. Elvira took the chance to turn about to see what was happen in the rest of the room. Seeing that the nurses had turned to save Alan. They'd done a hard reset on Alan equipment and were moving him out of the room. Elvira smiled proudly at seeing her minion acting to protect Alan.
The humans and gathered into a small group with their bullets aim towards her and the Heartless. It was, of course, a mistake to turn once attention from the enemy and she suffered it as a clawed hand had punched a hole into her chest. She ripped out so of Elvira organ, thankfully she'd miss her heart. However, she still she was then discarded and throw to the floor where she was able to watch the humans futile bullet bouncing off of the exoskeleton of the heartless.
It wasn't until one of the men pulled out a massive gun and loaded it with a bullet that made his hand look as small as Elvira. An ear-splitting bang was heard, and one of the Heartless arms flew off, having seriously harmed the Heartless it focused on them. The man managed to get a call off on his mic, and tried to reload but the creature had found a bed and threw it at the men.
Elvira could hear the crunching of bone, and the squad of man had fallen. The only thing left in front of the heartless was a dozen swarming youthful vampires—all who attacked the Heartless who was trying to tear at Alan. The Heartless one kept failing at strike true to Alan only ever managing to grace Alan.
Eventually the heartless got fed up and simply picked up threw some vampire, but they'd just jump right back at her, not giving it an inch and Elvira had some hope. Until the heartless ripped one of her vampires, two and started de-organed the others, ripping out whatever it could reach.
It had thinned the herd, giving her some space to reach Alan, but when one of the vampires threw herself in the way of the attack getting torn in half, right over Alan's conscious body.
She could hear his heartbeat pounding like a drum, certainly not the best way she wanted to wake him up with, but better late than sorry!
