Her...

The night slowly crept over the sky as the sun drifted down into the horizon. The bleak clouds coloured the sky amidst the abyss above. Flickering on, lights across the city illuminated the dark of the night.

Inside of a breaking down blue apartment far from the crowed streets and expensive shops, smelling of dying animals and old mold. Inside 302 was a young man who was lean and lanky, dressed in sport shorts and no t-shirt. With clear skin and short hair, his eyes seemed clouded and distracted. He slammed his weak fists against the punching bag hung in his room.

This was Milo, coping as best he could. His sweat dripped off his as if he was actually working out, but his body was clear evidence he didn't.

Although he was quite skinny, it didn't mean he was healthy. He still ate snacks, lazed around his house a lot, and always took the bus instead of walking to his small gas station job.

The punching bag he was relentlessly punching was just one of the things lying around his disorganised room, along with cds from his favourite band, a grey beanbag and a ugly red couch with a stack of clothes on it.

All of those things were given to him by his friends and family. But none of that mattered.

As the punching bag continued to burn his hands with pain, a puddle appeared below him. Time passed and he finally stopped his desperate punches, the floor below him was getting increasingly wet.

Tears steamed out his eyes as his face scrunched up into an ugly expression.

*BRRR*

His phone rang and and vibrated the table it was laid against. Dragging his poor sweaty body to the orange cased phone, he looked at the caller with a blank stare. He seemed to contemplate something before hesitantly answering the phone.

On the other side of the phone intense sobbing could be heard, along with sirens in the background.

"Milo... Milo? Please answer me..."

Despite the female's voice over the phone, he remained silent.

"Milo don't do this... please don't shut us out again. Not again..."

The voice was wary and soft, yet trembling and breaking. Each word threatened to release tears out of the young man sprawled along his oak floor.

"You know I can't do this without you, you know that... just please. It's not your fault, you couldn't have known this was going to happen... we all couldn't"

Giving up, his eyes remained on the cracked ceiling while tears leaked out. Why did he even pick up the phone?

He knew how this was going to go, he knew. Yet his heart wouldn't let him, he couldn't bring himself to stoop so low as to be selfish just becuase of he had his own problems.

He couldn't...

"We called the ambulance and they're now at the scene... I just hope that you would talk with us again, we miss you. I'm just sorry we had to talk about this incident when we finally reunited"

'...we miss you...'

His heart ached and the feeling of his body released. He laid there listening to the consequences of his actions.

To the voice of the girl he broke and her weeping, sniffling and the background sounds of sirens. Of the silence of his apartment and the stillness of his body.

Closing his eyes, tears continued to flow out. He was a mess that needed something. Something to cling on. After her, and this incident, he would definitely need someone again. Or something. Anything to heal the gaping hole in his heart.

Hanging up, the apartment was once again silent. Except for his rough breathing or the beep of cars outside, he couldn't hear anything.

There was silence...

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH"

Screaming his lungs out, he didn't care for the complaining neighbours or the state of his body. He just screamed.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH"

Heaving with every inhale he took, his shoulders followed his emotions by moving with his every breath. He still had pent up frustration. He wanted to hit something, hurt someone, he wanted someone to cry, someone to feel his pain. He wanted to kill...

That wasn't true at all. He'd never think like that, or hope to not think like that. It wasn't in his nature to be aggressive, something his mother always berated him about. How he couldn't get a girl if your a wimp, which she was partially right.

He clutched the phone in his hand, standing up, he faced his balcony. Breathing in the fresh breeze from the open balcony door, he faced the outside with determination.

Slowly approaching the balcony with the phone in hand, his speed gradually picked up and eventually ended up into a full out sprint. As he approached, he swung his arm out and tossed the phone outside.

Seeing it disappear into the night, he crouched down and wept loudly. Plunging his face into his hands which bled from his knuckles.

He cried becuase of his weakness, becuase...

He didn't love her...

Parts of him truely wanted to like her, but he knew he couldn't. She was just too... Trying to find a excuse, he felt terrible, he honestly wanted to vomit. This was all becuase of him, and he could do nothing about it.

He simply laid there in grief, anguish... in depression.

As the wind howled and brushed his body, it lightly pushed his back towards the choice he was dedicated to doing. Hesitant, seeing the beautiful city that graced his eyes, he trembled. He was scared of dying.

Intergrating system (98%)...

As his feet were finally released from his control, his entire body fell forward. Dropping down, bringing his blurred sight closer and closer towards the cement below, he thought about his life.

For a split second his thoughts stirred to life and a smile appeared in his head. Her smile. Just thinking about her brings a small grin on his face.

Feeling the tips of his fingers freeze against the wind, as Milo's half-naked body plummeted towards my doom, did he regret this? He couldn't say he didn't, Milo honestly wanted to live a long life. It's just a pity, a person like him was so weak willed.

As the lights blurred past and the air shifted, his sight turned black and Milo's mind finally cleared.

Hopefully shes loving heaven as much as he could love hell...
