Milo didn't think too deeply about it, it seemed pretty easy. Of course it was going to be telekinesis, who would want metal skin over telekinesis? Choosing Telekinesis and gaining +10 mana, he placed his last point in the path which gave him +2 mana.
Telekinesis: Allows the user to control and apply force against an object or item using their mental capabilities, mana. Costs 5 mana per minute. Increasing the skill level increases the control and strength the user can apply.
Immediately testing it out, Milo felt a rush of heat come from his chest and out into the air. He tried focusing on a pebble and making the strange heat wrap around it. As it enveloped the small rock, Milo then tried lifting it closer to himself. But to his disappointment, the strange heat could only wriggle the rock a bit before disappearing.
Was telekinesis that weak? Shouldn't it be like, a bit more stronger? Trying again, Milo gathered the heat inside of him. When it tried going out, Milo kept it inside and tried accumulating more and more of that energy. But as he did so, he felt something foreign in his body. Like there was an opposite to the strange heat, it was an icy cold energy that numbed the feeling in its area.
What was that? As he stopped gathering the energies, he let it loose and used it to move the rock. To his surprise, it was a lot more effective and stronger, but there was this hint of savagery that wasn't there before in the strange energy. Like a beast, or monster...
This brought him back to his train of though, how did he even get those skills from before? Monster telepathy, body morph, monster aura and goblin rage. They didn't sound like something a person should have. What did happen when he fell from his apartment? Why wasn't he dead? There was too many questions with no answers.
As night became to cease, most groups inside the store slept. The group consisting of him, Anna, Liam, Jacob and someothers slept as well. But Milo didn't, he couldn't. There was something bugging at him that felt like an itch he couldn't scratch.
Practicing telekinesis in the mean time, he watched over the store along side some other diligent civilians. By the time it was day time, Milo was slowly dozing off. At night he had gained 5 levels in Telekinesis and learned a skill called Night Vision. Night Vision levelled all the way up to 4. All in all, he now had 9 stat points, just enough to finish this path. Dumping them all in the Trainee Path, he had a long string of notifications.

Milo now had 3 spare stat points and 2 mana based stat points. He wondered where he should put them, strength was a possible choice, but endurance seemed like he right choice. He needed to survive not to fight, so strength would be ultimately useless if he doesn't use it. Placing all of his stat points into endurance, Milo felt much more energised and ready. But his sleepless night was getting to him and he wasn't used to staying up so late. As for his mana based stat points, he put them all in intelligence.
Eventually darkness covered his eyes and his body laid limp on the hard floors next to Anna. Which, seeing him sleep, secretly smiled and stroked his hair without Milo or Liam knowing.

Gorden swung his great sword and killed a small goblin. Each swing of his severed a goblin head or split apart a body. He was now surrounded by a graveyard of corpses. Finishing off the last pesky goblin, a notification popped up like those games he was addicted to.
Congratulations! The "Slaughter Path" is now available to you!
Congratulations! The "Juggernaut Path" is now available to you!
Gorden sercetly fistbumped himself and continued on his way back to the store. Ever since that hour, a strange menu appeared to everyone throughout the world. Gorden, being a jock/nerd, was perfect for this system. He knew all about how it worked, what the possibilities were and his build was very big and tough.
Pulling a sachel off a goblin thief he killed, he saw that a whole of darkness was inside. It was like a black hole. Curiously, Gorden took some flesh off a goblin and plopped it inside. To his surprise, nothing happened. So he recklessly put his hand in, as soon as he did that he felt some sort of inventory.
It was a strange feeling being able to sense objects without knowing where it is or what it is. All he felt in the darkness of the bag was three vitals, a dagger and some mushy stuff. He guessed that must've been the flesh.
Trying something, he focused on a singular vital and tired pulling it out with his hand. As his hand popped out of the bag, he felt something in his hand as well. It was a potion? It was full of red liquid and seemed like a health potion. Shouting out "Inspect" he took a look at its description.
Amateur’s Potion lvl 2: Will restore 12 Health over 6 seconds.
Congratulations! Equip is now level 6!
Gorden had found another potion like this one but it was much more higher leveled and effective, he even considered making one himself but he didn't know how to.
Gorden looked at the notifications and went to his paths page. He had already completed the Newbie and Trainee Paths along with a path called Warmonger giving him a bunch of stats in health and stamina. The stats he could distribute were mostly put in endurance and strength while some were put in agility.
In the Trainee Path, he had received a special notification regarding something about branching. Anyways, he was given two options, +15 Stamina and the skill "Empower" or +10 Mana and the skill "Fireball". He picked Empower for the obvious reason of sounding cool, but it was also becuase he had a physical type build. It was strange to go pick the mana option when he was a stamina type build.
Upon fully completing the Trainee Path, he revived another skill called "Fury". Once activated, it would drain stamina while giving him a boost in strength and endurance. But as he used it, his decision making was clouded so he barely used it.
Think that was it, Gorden went back to the safe haven which was the local store. The windows were now boarded, finally some people with a brain. Approaching the back door of the store through an alleyway, he found a group of goblins waiting outside, deciding to finish them off he ran full speed at them.
Congratulations! Sword Summon is now level 9!
Summoning his great sword, he swung which caused a large crimson arch to spear and cut through all of them.
Congratulations! Blood Transfusion is now level 2!
Swishing his hair back, sweat started accumulating around his body but he was done now. Almost all of his stamina was gone now so he stopped his relentless hunt which the system rewarded him with a path called Enforcer. He guessed it had something to do with keeping the peace? Well, he was just slaughtering all of the dangerous mobs around.
Knocking the door with in a rhythm only they would know, a man opened up the back door and let Gorden in. But as soon as he entered in, his Danger Detection was blaring. Pushing his way through, he followed where the danger was coming from. Did a monster come in?
Dragging his sword behind him waking everyone up as he passed, he approached where the detection was the strongest. Getting further and further into the group, Gorden got nervous. What could it be, how did it intercept out defences so easily and got so far in?
Finally, his detection stopped at a group? There was a girl stroking a young man's hair and looked deeply at his face.
"EHHUMM!"
Waking the whole group up, all of their eyes faced him confused. But as soon as Gorden saw a specific glint in the young man's eyes, he widened his eyes and pointed his sword aggressively at him.
"YOU! WHAT ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?"
"Good morning to you too-ACK Don't slap me, I just woke up! Give me a break"
