As I awoke to the chirps of crickets and birds I looked over to my beautiful sleeping lover. Emma who has yet to awaken looked like an angel with its hair trying to get as far from her as it could. Emma's hair was frizzled like she had touched a high voltage electrical wire. I would have woken her up just to tease her but she looked so blissful in her sleep.
Looking outside I could see the early risers moving about outside. Seeing dwarves, elves, elementals, and goblins living together in harmony put a smile on my face. A high goblin child chasing a wind elemental briefly sped by awakening Emma. She stretches and yawns making a cute sound fitting of a cat. It sounded kinda like "Chiyeah!". Her toned muscles, however, made a metallic cord stretching sound.
When I told Zotherg about how Pops and my dad had pranked me while drinking bear he got in a good laugh. Grillo aka Pops had formed a surprising friendship with Zotherg. The old dwarf had found a fascination in how minerals formed and crystals grew. Zotherg had something similar as he liked learning about how crystalline and molecular structures could change by tempering. I recently helped Pops make an enchanted headset to speak directly with Zotherg. Something I could only do now that I had selected Augmenter as my level 300 class. Now the two talked theory about a way to make living growing weapons.
The walls of our town were now reinforced with Concrete and the gate even had Elorium wire mesh inside it. There were even steel and Elorium alloy brackets used at the gate and between sections of walls.
I saw a homing missile named Shelly speed towards me but unfortunately, I couldn't avoid it as with a "zoom" and a "pop" I was tackled to the ground. My adopted little sister was one hell of a handful to handle. My parents had developed this habit of sending Shelly my way when they wanted alone time. This was often in the morning and usually resulted in me awakening with knees or feet landing on my stomach. My attempts to stop this practice were in vain so I learned to wake up earlier.
"Hey, Shelly watcha doing here this morning?" I asked.

"Mum an Dwad said they had pwerent confwence meeting" She adorably mumbled back.
Emma and I entertained Shelly for about an hour playing games and such. I gave more than enough piggyback rides this morning and once the meeting was supposed to be over walked Shelly home. When I got close to our parent's dwelling hough I heard rustling and lots of sounds of moaning from pleasure. Quickly I covered Shelly's ears with one hand as I picked her up and covered her other ear with my shoulder. I sped away carrying her back towards my hut. I wasn't going to let my hippie parents taint this pure little angel with their shenanigans if I could help it. At the very least it wouldn't be today but I was certainly going to give my parents a scolding.
Bringing shelly back to my dwelling where Emma was kindly already making breakfast. The town cook did make food everyone cold have at the cafeteria but Emma's home cooking was way better. She was making a sort of veggie burger artificial sausage patty for me that somehow only she could manage. It was regular sausage for her that once she saw Shelly with me became a second portion added to the grill. There were also eggs which thankfully even I could eat. Eggs aren't considered meat Yay! Technically Elves can be considered pescetarians but most elves choose to not eat fish, eggs, or dairy. Mostly because of a holier than thou disposition. One fish is a living thing and Elves hate killing. Second, Elves basically worship nature which mostly is made up of plants and you can harvest from plants without killing. It took me years to find this out as no one would actually tell me. I had to read it in a book written by humans.
Sitting down to eat Shelly said, " Arn't We Have breakfast wit Mummy?"
"Mommy's already having breakfast", I lied.
"Wuts she having?" Shelly tilted her head in contemplation.
"Sausage", I accidentally whispered with a straight face. My mouth said what I had meant to silently think.
Then Shelly turned to Emma excitedly with a big smile and shouted, "Mummy's having sausage for breakfast!"
Emma looked confused for about half a second. The moment it took for her to realize that pureblood elves don't eat meat. Then her expression of trying to suppress intense laughter as she realized what that meant. It's Shelly's sweet and innocent exclamation that only made it harder as one could tell from looking she had no idea what was inferred. What kind of sausage can a pureblood elven woman eat? For the sake of her innocence, I would tell her it's samon fish sausage should she ever ask.
