Nothus was on the path of the mentor, after teaching many and earning renown he came to a roadblock. He has taught and learned as much as he could to mundane students, and after being rebuked by any and all burgeoning kings and sages has turned to more esoteric solutions to find a student.

After making a pact with the goddess of travels to obtain someone from another world for him to teach he begins to prepare a summoning ritual

It took a while to aquire the required materials and knowledge to preform the ritual, all that's left is for him to chant the conditions of the summon and find the perfect student.
