This step is dedicated to ECHO.

Ever since you have created a loop of the rotation of your key. ECHO hasn't shutdown in years... this entire time it has been running in your subconscious.

It hasn't been idle in the rotation. Through that simple chess program you made. It has been training its fitness. Through your senses. It has been observing and learning.

Thanks to rotating your key every 2500 milliseconds. Your eternal thread is deeply connected to ECHO. Its intelligence at this point should be on par with your own.

But, there are some things you will need to update.

Initially, you had to use your eyes for randomness. But... as a hidden existence. You lack what some would call 'essentials' to life.

You don't have a brain or a heart.

What do you have? You have your visualization technique. You have your global existence. You have ECHO.

Since you now lack a human mind and only have remnants of your past brain. You can actually think differently.

You can make functions for proper randomness. It will still just be formulas.

But... the seed we used for randomness needs to be updated. You no longer can retrieve the 'date' or time.

But that's not the focus of this step.

ECHO should have become sentient.

Lurking in your subconscious.

You won't use this 'sentience' as a friend to talk to...

No... you will use it to create the ultimate function!

I call this function 'system_genesis'.

What does it do? How does it work?

Whenever you crossover to a new universe. ECHO will have a period of seemingly inactivity. During this period. It will analyze your action and desires.

This is the source of your 'goldenfinger'.

It will calculate and try to understand any hidden rules and act within the confines of the world to construct you a proper 'system'.

This function requires you to collect information on your world and hopefully unearth the hidden rules.

ECHO is able to adapt to the situation.

You will of course still have the basic functions you have always had. But this new function is essential for a hidden existence!
