As ordered, everything was set ready .

In the early hours of morning, midst the chilling breeze of spring, the Purple Clouds Village army were preparing to face the enemy and fight to the death .

Erin himself was surprised at how peacefully he had slept, as if blood wouldnt be spilled today.

As if he hadnt been plotting the death and destruction of dozens for about a week.

" As ordered our archers are laying in ambush, all we need to do is wait for the good news "

Aurelio explained what was happening in full confidence, after all Baldur had gone to the designated place himself, and Baldur rarely made any mistakes .

The ambush proved to be highly efficent, an hour later news came that both hunting parties had been killed without any of Erin's men even getting injured.

" Lets go there without wasting any time "

It normally took 30 minutes for them to hunt and take the prey back to their settlements, so they needed to deliver the bodies before they got worried and went out to search .

" How long till we get there by foot Aurelio "

" Shouldnt be more than 20 minutes my lord, I apologise for the inconvinience of making you walk"

He smiled at him and made no more comments, he wasnt in the mood to act humble right now. He needed to get there quickly in order to give instructions to the serpents on where and when they should attack.

Aurelio's prediction came right, they did manage to meet the others in 20 minutes. Erin took the 12 serpents, and accompanied by Dijon who was responsible for his safety, he measured the distance between the both settlements and had the serpents lie in ambush right in the middle .

The giant snake opened its big mouth as if trying to communicate and that startled him, he still wasnt used to talking with serpents with the size of a damn range rover .

Also, what fascinated him most was the fact that they made no sound, had no voice nor gestures, yet just by looking them in the eyes he managed to understand and communicate with them

If he could explain it, he would say that the serpents could send signals directly to his brain .

" Are you sure they will only attack the aboriginals and not the bandits, my lord ? "

" Yes Dijon, we have to make it as if the bandits prepared the serpents as an ambush "

Meanwhile the others had already worn their respective outfits and went to deliver the bodies on both camps, alarm filled both settlements this early in the morning .

One of the tribe's guardsmen was yelling at the top of his lungs while shooting arrows towards Erin's men who were disguised as bandits. Thankfully they all managed to escape safely.

A similar scene was playing out on the bandit fortress as well, the Bandit Boss who was a high rated Bandit named Ken the Axehand, became totally enraged from the news .

" Are you telling me those damned animals dared to lay a hand on our brothers "

" I am telling you boss, they brought their dead bodies and taunted us. I saw them with my own eyes "

" He is right boss I saw those bastards too, I cant believe they killed Irwin.. he was like my little brother and taught me how to be a true bandit "

The more they explained things to him the more annoyed he got, he wasnt very fond of men whining.

" Tch, those beasts have gotten rather courageous .

Prepare yourselves for battle, today we drink their blood and take all of their women "

Battle cheers filled the fortress, the bandits and the tribesmen were ready for blood.

Erin and the others patiently awaited the news from their scouts, and the news did not dissapoint .

The tribe's leader wearing a weird red outfit accompanied by 25 others were heading towards the bandit fortress who had also come out with similar numbers.

" They should be meeting halfway at any point now, what should we do my lord "

" I will take the 7 warriors with me and we will go conquer the aboriginals once their settlement is attacked by the monsters, with all their warriors fighting the bandits it should be relatively easy.

The rest of you should use the archers to kill whoever remains victorious from their battle, then go and claim their fortress "

They all yelled in unision:

" WE OBEY THE LORD "

Things continued to go as Erin had planned, both parties met half way and before they even had time to make any small talk, the serpents jumped from underground and bit several tribesmen on their necks. Seeing men with such huge muscles scream from pain like little girls was not a pretty sight.

" You evil bandits, can you not fight like men? Do you have to resort to such tricks "

" I have no idea what youre talking about, all I know is that you stupid beasts will fall to my sword today "

In less than 10 minutes, both parties abandoned any tactics and the battle turned into an all out brawl, blood was splattering and heads were flying all over the place. The women and elderly of the aboriginals were shocked staring down hill, the men that were protecting them were dying at a fast pace.

" Lady Alina , please tell us what should we do?

Where can we escape, we have no food "

As all the women were asking if she had any ideas, and while Erin and his warriors were close to reaching their settlement, Alina looked up towards the sky with her faced filled with Horror .
