The village wasnt the only thing that had stats, he found out that the spawned buildings had stats as well.

The smithy added a 10% chance of spawning a begginner blacksmith, the lord's house had an effect that scared nearby monsters, the barracks had the option of profession change where a villager could take on the profession of Purple Cloud swordsman or bowmen . Hell, even the watch tower spawned one archer per day, this village was not legendary grade for nothing.

" Are you sure you wish to test out your skills on monsters my lord, as a lord you should leave the fighting to your subordinates "

Aurelio's worry was not without reason, monsters were all around and the only thing keeping them safe was the protection effect from the lord's house.

" 1 week if we are lucky . The bandits and the tribesmen arent in good terms so they arent making any moves for now but how long till they go out searching for food? We got to prepare ourselves "

The three of them started thinking of ways to prevent the village from destruction, as for Erin he was calculating how many men he would have in a week.

The village spawned 3 villagers a day but some of them could be women or elderly so he was not going to force them into changing their profession to a warrior, it just wouldnt sit well with him.

So in short he would have 15-20 warriors by the end of the week if he was lucky, but still nowhere close to their numbers.

He ignored his boasting and told him and Baldur to prepare, they were heading to the serpents den.

For now he needed to gain some battle experience, he would worry about the rest later.

Erin obviously said no to such a suggestion, first he did not like sitting on people since he had been sat on and stepped on his entire life.

Walking a mile would take 20-25 min for a normal human but since their abilities were boosted so much, they reached their destination in 7 mins.

After small consideration, they decided to jump down while carrying Erin to prevent him from being hurt. The den was quite deep so this time even he didnt try protesting, he didnt want to die from fall damage.

The noise from their landing attracted 90% of the serpents inside which numered close to 20.

Being surrounded by monsters taught him three things, the first thing was that he was not scared, for some reason he was enjoying that whole experience .

The second thing he learnt was why Baldur classified them as gigantic serpents, each of them was the size of a damn car, and the third thing he learnt was why these fellas were so boastful.

THEY WERE SIMPLY TOO STRONG .

Modi would smash the skulls of each serpent with his hammer in a single hit, while Baldur was cutting them cleanly . Didnt take long for the scenery to change from surrounded by snakes to tail-less or headless snakes splattering green blood all over the place .

" I wont get outdone by you geezers "

Seeing the monsters die so easy on their hands gave him courage , he first activated his paper blast ability that he had been wanting to try all day .

His right hand cloned itself five times and there were now five hands floating next to his head.

Then the hands transformed into pieces of paper that quickly flew and stuck themselves on the bodies of five different serpents, and BOOM...

The papers exploded at his thought,killing all five of them .

" My lord thats a nice trick you got "

Being complimented by a self centred bastard like Modi felt quite great to him, he felt powerless his entire life hence why the sense of powerfulness and being in control was making him drunk .
