Arc 3 Epilogue - The Royal “We” II
The Grand Necropolis was Dario’s lifelong wish alongside the revival of the Omen Sect, and Overlord Exion was to build the foundation. This was his main purpose from the beginning of his life as an Undead. Without the component that can place the Omen Sect as the most powerful, the revival of the ancient, Undead Aristocracy, that existed since the beginning of the world and was the forbidden thought that Dario had contained in his younger years.
“You must be from the long line of Albrecht von Galahad,” Kensei was straightforward, words holding sharpness as if a blade was close to your neck. This was the inner sanctum of Castle Lancelot where Judge Galahad oversaw operations in the dark. No outside informants other than the Omen Sect knew about the sudden loss of 3 vital fortresses in the Duchy of Basilisk.
!!
Judge Galahad was caught off-guard by the greatest secret that is only known to Empress Celene, his true name. This was a sign of a great liability for the Judge Magistrate.
“H-How do you know the founder of my family?!” Judge Galahad was a formidable character, very few characters can actually match up to someone like him, even surpassing the likes of Emir Sarjace.
“I am Kensei. An old acquaintance of Albrecht’s.” With those last words, the Bushido Sword Saint unsheathed Sumihomura and manifested a perfected Mind Sword (Blade Energy).
You can’t get any more perfect than that. With the words emanating from the mysterious swordsman clothed from the people of the Far East, Judge Galahad came to the realization that the secret information given to him by the Empress herself was true and that Asura’s son is in fact, a Sith Lord.
Bump. Bump. “You are the first Sword Saint in history,” Judge Galahad reached his sacred greatsword strapped from behind.
Excalibur. The illustrious sword from The Far West. Kensei remembered the sword that a famous Dragon Slayer wielded.
The distance between the two was not so far, however, the space began to distort by the mere killing intent emanating from the two superstars. It was a world where the mind was the battlefield and the victor would be shown relatively quickly.
At first, Judge Galahad compressed the world and blasted an overhead strike producing a tremendous explosion. Kensei easily dodged the attack and after-images were shown every time he moved, however, the Bushido Sword Saint performed an additional effect to the dodging. He would counter with a skill called, Payback Counter. This technique not only repels the same amount of damage but, in addition to the user’s attack as well. It was a magnificent move that granted the mind battle to the illustrious, Bushido Sword Saint, also known as The Wandering Flame for being known as an enigmatic monk.

An exceptional slash that cut through the best armor found in the world, Valiant Mail, not only that, Galahad had been cut deeply and blood gushed out like a spring.
“Incredible. Not even Albrecht had reached that level at your age.” Strangely, Kensei praised the Arcadian Judge while adjusting to the real world after the mind-shift.
“I-I see… Her Majesty had surmised forthright,” The Imperial Judge lamented that his suspicions had proven true - Dario had resurrected an old figure from their past. Only, Tiamat and Galahad had not known the extent of the figure that is to be revived.
“I pay my respects to you, Sword Saint,” Judge Galahad bowed deeply with the utmost of manners. Shortly after, he ripped a scroll and fled the castle.
“Rude little shit. Albrecht, you son of a bitch, you haven’t taught your kin any manners,” Kensei scratched the back of his head and sighed. I’m turning into you, Jecht. The hardened samurai let out a subtle chuckle. Chuckle. Chuckle.
Reminiscing about his time when he was “Auron,” Kensei displayed traits akin to his old friend, Jet. “This time, I won’t fail you…” The Bushido Sword Saint was finally walking the path to move on from his longing as The Wandering Flame.

“Looks like now would be a good time to infiltrate Kazas,” Tenebrae began the conversation in the solar of the Duchy of Basilisk. Dario, and several high-ranking members of the Omen Sect were in the decadent room.
“You’re right.” Dario was 18 years old at this time. A whole year had passed and Autumn was the time of the season. “All our labor is now coming to bear fruit.”
“Hmph.” His Majesty, King Albion expressed a subtle chuckle. “The Emperor does not know this, but my father had constructed an underground labyrinth below Kazas.”
“Truly?” There are not many instances when Dario is surprised.
“It was my father’s morbid fascination. Undead dwell in such places. It is undoubtedly expected for us to go through legions of them.” Tenebrae felt it would be tedious to do so and would much rather strike from the front, but understood the need for stealth in this operation.
“Then this will be the party,” Dario set the conversation for Veda to end the dialogue.
The butler reviewed an overview of the main party that will infiltrate the Imperial Kazas through a secret underground pathway built by the preceding Duke.
“My father used those labyrinths as playgrounds,” Albion gave a hint as to how powerful his preceding Monarch used to be. “The Duchy was peaceful and conflict was non-existent, therefore, my father created a Dungeon.”
King Albion looked at the window overseeing the prosperous Duchy, “Who would have thought that my father looked far into the future to kill my uncle?”
“Indeed,” Veda remarked. “This is the curse only Royalty is burdened with.”
“The battle for succession has always been ugly,” Tenebrae invoked in his kingly speech.
In the ending scene, Veda had made a Special Task Force composed solely of four individuals; Dario, Tenebrae, Ryuji Hak, and Glenn. It would be these four who are the foundation that would place them as one of the World's Competitors for world domination.
“Take heed,” King Albion said a few last words. “By himself, my Lord Uncle, Asmodel fon Doel rose to the level of an Emperor when he slayed Quetzalcoatl. With the Ancient Dragon’s Heart infused, Doel became Emperor Doel and is now the ‘Magenta Lightning Dragoon.’”
King Albion looked at his companions in the room, “I wish to see him alone.”
The Lord Disciple replied graciously, “We will open a path for you, Your Majesty.” Dario’s eyes spoke for themselves as it held firmness, yet, the resolve to commit an atrocity in order to bring about peace in the Continent of Serdio.
