I swished and twirled in my warm bed as I try to stretch my legs out as I do every morning. I'm surprised to find that my bed has gotten too confined and that I can barely move at all! I must be growing too quickly!
I don't want to leave the snug embrace of the sheets, but my arms are getting stiff and I want some fresh air. I've been cooped up in bed for my whole life, I think a little exercise would do me good. So I squirm and wiggle as I try to slip out of the covers, but in the end my efforts are fruitless! I am firmly stuck and can't get out! I've never tried to leave bed before, but I thought it would be much easier...
It doesn't help that it's pitch black either, if I was able to see then I could get out easy. So instead of wiggling like a energized worm, I choose to kick off the covers.
With my mind made up, I thrash and thrash at the comfy bed sheets, I can feel the bed rocking back and forth as I struggle so I redouble my efforts to escape. I gave the cover in front of me a full-powered headbutt and I hear a loud cracking noise. I look at my handiwork and see that there's now a little hole of the bed where a soft orange light shines.
I continue to headbutt butt the area around the small hole, making it bigger and bigger until I can fit my whole head through! Ahh much better, a nice fresh breeze.
I scan my eyes around my bed's bed for the first time. It turns out my bed is actually bright orange, I always thought it was black, and my bed's bed is brown, all scratchy and looks totally unsoft, unlike my bed which is the best.
I want to go back into my own warm bed and sleep but there's a big hole right infront of my face so no matter how hard I try, I can't get sleepy. I decide to headbutt the hole again so I can fully leave and go for a walk.
More and more pieces of my cover fall to the ground in tiny little bits and eventually I flop out of my bed onto the brown stuff Below. Argh! I just knew it would be uncomfy, I chirp!
It's too late now though, my bed is completely destroyed!
"I think I made a mistake, oh well, time for a walk." I chirp.
I take a few unsteady steps to the edge of the brown stretchy stuff, it smells funny. There's a little raised lip at the edge, so I have to scramble my arms like crazy to get over it. I was able to get over it with excited determination, but now there's little brown things stuck in my feathers! This is just the worse.
I hop of the brown stuff to the cold uneven floor and start wandering around. I can see that the roof is reeeeally high up, but the sides are super narrow, I workout my legs by stumbling from one side of the room to the other and notice a really pretty fire on the wall. It's burning ontop of a short stick placed about halfway up the wall, its too far away to reach, but I really want to touch it, such a shame.
Without a choice in the matter, I have to leave the pretty fire alone, so I keep running around, enjoying the movement of my legs and wings.

+ 1 Endurance
What a surprise! I can feel a sensation in my head, I don't really understand what it means, but it's warm and feels good. I keep running laps around the big brown hill, my broken bed's bed, trying to repeat the feeling.
+ 1 Dexterity
Ohhh I did it again! This time it feels a little different than before, but it's still nice and warm. I would've kept running but my poor legs are tired so I'm force to walk now.
----------------------------------------
Oh no.
"I'm stuck down here now!" I chirped furiously!
For the last 10 minutes I've been trying to climb up onto the big brown bed, using all my leg and wing power, but I only get half-way before I fall on my bum. It really hurts.
Suffered 1 Falling Damage
Ouch, that was a really big fall that time. I can feel another sensation in my brain, this one wasn't as anywhere near as warm. Thus, I vehemently promised to never fall again.
I gave up on trying the climb the steep brown hill and decide to walk away and find another place to rest. Hopefully somewhere warm and comfortable, anywhere but on this terrible floor! There's only one direction to go, which is straight into the darkness. Its ok though, I'm not scared of the dark!
When I did finally step out of the fire's light and into the dark, it did feel a little uncomfortable, but I was thrilled to find out that my feathers were glowing faintly. The little yellow glow was only strong enough to light up my feet, not very useful for seeing much else, but still reassuring.
It only took a couple of minutes to find a nice, warm, brown blanket!
Every so often it would make a screeching noise and move around, which was very annoying, but I would keep chasing it around to give it a hug. It was fluffy and squishy, expect for the sharp feet and long hard tail, so I avoided those and only hugged it's body.
I think it started to like me because it stopped running away and just sat there while I cuddled it.
I hugged it for a really long time and I think it fell asleep in my tender embrace, which was great! I would've slept with it too, but I was getting super hungry, super duper hungry. This was a problem because I've never been hungry before! I only knew that I must eat something.
The tiny brown blanket under me was starting to look tastier and tastier by the second as my hunger grew. My need for food slowly overpowered my need for softness and I reluctantly tried to give the blanket a little peck to see how it tasted.
2 Piercing Damage
The little rug awoke with a shock and tried to scamper away, i had to use all my arm strength for my super hug not to get thrown off!
While I was getting dragged around I swished around the tiny drop of blood on my tongue to find that it tasted really nice.
I kept pecking away at it's back while it bucked around like a mad bull in a rodeo. It was making very unpleasant noises, the taste of yummy blood was the only thing allowing me to endure the racket.

3 Piercing Damage
The deeper I pecked into the wet fluff, the better the blanket was tasting, it was delicious! Even as I was eating my hunger continued to grow.

3 Piercing Damage
My arms were getting really exhausted by now from holding on for so long, so I used all my remaining energy in one last big peck! right in the deepest hole I had chewed in the blanket.

I pushed aside the obtrusive mind sensations to focus on the tasty meal that had stopped moving. Good thing too, because my arms were spent! At least now I can take my time and enjoy.
After poking around in the blanket, I found some white hard bits, they weren't yummy, so I stuck to the red bits, they were soft and squishy, my two most favorite things in the world.
After I ate my fill of the treat I snuggled up my feathers against the dry part of the blanket and closed my eyes. While it wasn't as warm as before, it still retained it's fluffiness in the dry areas.
It just a few moments I was sleeping peacefully.
