The scattered remains of my yellow and grey dust swirled to the whims of an unfelt wind. My remains glowed with an unbridled heat, coalescing into a tight sphere of fire. I was at the center of this ball of fire, but I was in no pain, if anything, I was full of beans! An ancient and divine magic coursing through my birdy veins as my glorious bird-body was reconstructing itself inside the red hot, levitating ball of fire!!!
Then, I was heard the sound of a egg-timer rattling around in my noggin as my reconstruction finished up.
Fire to Fire: Rebirth complete. -20% Health, due to absence of ashes.
"WOZZERS!!! I'M BACK AS A BIRDIE!!!!" I cheer to the smoldering black stone at my feet. For the first time, making the evil cold floor somewhat bearable.
I gleefully skip my way over to a tiny pile of my untouched death powder to give it a taste. This dust was spared from the ball of fire because it was too far away to be swept up in the magical wind.
I poke my cute tongue into the grey dust and give it a quick taste-test. I know that both the big blanket and the little blankets weren't a fan of it, but you never know! Turns out they were on to something, as the taste could be described as 'yucky'. Furthermore, not only was is yucky, it also stuck to my throat with every breath, so for the next 2 minutes I was coughing and hacking up the dust particles from my mouth as I tumbled away.

I felt a wave of nausea as a huge batch of squigglies bombard my freshly-made brain, most of it going over my head. I could recognize and understand a couple of the 'amount' squigglies, other than that, it was just confusing long strings of squiggles.
HOWEVER! Among these new squiggles, one in particular stood out.
As soon as that wall of squigglies invaded my mind, new knowledge of my capabilities was poured into my memories! It was like I knew how to use Cinders all along, just that I had forgotten until now. How fascinating!
"Cinders" I say out loud as I flap my wings in front of myself.
A spray of super hot fiery flames rush out of my flapping wings and sizzle in the air roughly a meter ahead of me.
"Muahhahahahahah!!! Cinders! Cinders! Cinders! Cinders!!" I echo in the twisting tunnel, briefly banishing the darkness with yellow light. It was very therapeutic.

"Cinders!!!" I call once again into the darkness, only to be met with no flashy displayof fire.
Insufficient Mana
Oh no! my cinders! What happened to my Cinders?!!?! What does this new swiggle mean? It's not warm at all! Have I made Cinders angry? Or maybe I made the sqwigglies angry?
I flop onto my belly and beat my wings on the floor while bawling like a newborn. To be fair I was a newborn, so one one had the right to complain about my behavior or excessive crying sessions.
Some time later, I pick myself up off the floor and chose a direction to go, either forwards or backwards in the single-path cave. Because I was so distracted by dying and being reborn, and then learning Cinders, I had become completely disorientated and forgotten which way I came from. So I chose to go forwards.
Unsurprisingly I had chosen the wrong way again and I was now staring at the familiar torch on the wall, burning with a comforting and lazy pace. I knew it was the same flame I went by earlier because I notice these things, I am amazing after all.
So with a depressing huff I walked back on my tracks... again. It took three minutes to reach the beautiful purple flower where I was attacked. The flower was missing two petals, leaving it with two remaining.
I quickly scout the area for any big blankets, thankfully there are none, and I plop my bum next to the flower and once again enjoy the sweet petals in peace and serenity.
The sweet bursting flavor of the delectable flower on my tongue washes away all the terrible things that happened to me like it was only a bad dream.

"Thank you Mr.Flower" I say to the plant that is now missing all it's pretty petals and is just a green stem poking out of the stone floor.
I lift my feathery form off the cold stone and use my wings to brush off the imaginary dust off my knees and let out a drawn out sigh. I continue down the single path hoping to find either more purple flowers, or the exit. Hopefully, I won't find that big blanket with the bushy tail and razor sharp claws, even if it is super fluffy and cute like me.
I noticed an eerie lack of small blankets on the path, but there were plenty puddles of blood that had dried to the point where they were inedible, I tried. Apparently the Big Fluffer as I will now call it, was also fond of the taste of smaller blankets.
Without any smaller blankets to eat or cuddle, I was starting to starve! My poor little tummy was making all sorts of strange alien noises that successively increased in volume as time passed.
I hasten my pace as I waddle further into the Big Fluffer's warpath. Maybe it went deeper the way I came in search of more blankets? That would be nice, now I won't have to get killed again by Big Fluffer, but what isn't nice, is having no food!
Just when the crushing despair of an empty stomach was about to cause me to breakdown into a mess of tears, making the situation worse, I finally saw the sun's light, Reflecting off the grey stone's surface at the end of the tunnel was no doubt, the gentle and kind pale tinge of the sun's morning light.
Unknown strength surges my legs into maximum overdrive. I trip on my own feet a couple of times and face plant in unbecoming ways, only to get back up and run even harder!
I can see it, it's so close and it's so exciting.
The tunnel's exit drew ever closer and a final reckless swan dive sends me flying around the corner.
Suffered 1 Falling Damage
What I'm greeted with is the spectacular view of a forest nestled inside the embrace of several sky piercing mountains. The cave mouth I'm standing in is far above the green tree tops, almost touching the big fluffy clouds that are idling by. The forest is HUMONGOUS and has a perfectly circular lake right in the center with a small island in the middle, on this little island is a giant blue tree with white leaves. Very pretty to say the least, I wanna touch those leaves.
I think I can see a little town resting by one of the larger streams that's running off the mountains, if the minuscule brown buildings and cleared forest were any indication.
"This is fantastic!" I say with tears welling up in my ducts.
But I had bigger fish to fry.
"First thing first, let's get some fooooooooooooooood!!"
