Kemuri descended to the construction site and started barking out orders. From her peripheral vision, she can just about make out Rowan's seeping whine from his gleaming window date. Kemuri knows that after 20 minutes exactly, he will go to his office, where he doesn't want to be bothered. After which, having done actual work, he would be exhausted and have less willpower.
That's when she strikes.

Kemuri knocked at his office door. Rowan grunted. He shouted, "It better be good.". His tone makes Kemuri reconsider her approach. Did something go wrong? Is now a bad time? Should she leave while he still doesn't know who interrupted him? No, he will just check the cameras. She peeked the door ajar.
Rowans thunderous features told her that if she leaves now, she would be fired. Pausing at the doorway, she gulped, bracing herself for the unknown.
