The First Beats

Sanzang jumped onto the dragon's wing. He climbed on top of it, and it started flying. “OH SHIT” Sanzang yelled. He kicked the dragon's wing, and the dragon stumbled, almost falling to the ground. “That works…alright let’s try somewhere more sensitive.”. He stomped its neck, causing the dragon to breathe fire onto the ground. Everyone stumbled back, trying to dodge the fire. “ZANG’ GET DOWN FROM THERE.” Ajesh yelled at him. “NO NO I GOT THIS! CAN’T BE TOO HARD TO KILL THIS THING? RIGHT?” Sanzang yelled back. He punched the dragons back, and then the dragon flipped on its back, throwing Sanzang off. He landed into the trees, and then onto the ground. Ajesh noticed and started to run towards, but then he stopped. He saw a spike of Divine Soul in Sanzang's body. “He got it.” Ajesh said. He walked away, and went back to fighting the demons, blowing them up. At Sanzang’s body, he was just barely conscious. He was trying to get up but his body wouldn’t let him. “What would Ajesh do…” He thought. “I barely have a connection to my abilities, how am I supposed to compete with these guys?” Then Sanzang remembered a song Ajesh listened to whenever he was tired and sad. “How the hell did that song go? Alright I’ll just hum it.” As he started humming it he felt strength. He got up and a tornado of wind followed. It surrounded him. Ethan and Thea looked confused, but Ajesh smiled. “You should be aware how knowledge and connection to your god can make your abilities stronger, correct? That’s all he knows of his abilities. A song. The monkey god’s song. The Hanuman Challisa.”. All of the demons and the dragon looked towards Sanzang. The wind around Sanzang exploded, erasing the demons and Ethan’s clones. Sanzang ripped off a branch from a tree. “Gada, manifest”. The branch transformed into a golden mace. Sanzang jumped onto the dragon, slamming his mace into its head. He bashed the mace into its head again. The dragon roared in pain. Sanzang grabbed its horns and pulled it up to his face level. “Wanna breathe fire? Do ya buddy?” Sanzang mocked. He slammed the mace into the dragon's face, breaking the dragon’s bones. He pushed its face into the ground and stomped on it. The dragon got back up, breathing fire onto Sanzang. He created a shield of wind to block out the flames. The dragon started hitting Sanzang, throwing him around. He punched back, in the nose, stopping it. He slammed his mace onto the top of his head, making the dragon eat dirt. He kept stomping on its head, and then Ajesh stopped him, throwing him to the ground. “That’s enough. You're making it more about hurting it than killing it.” Sanzang kicked him to the side and kept bashing the dragon with his mace. “You like fire right?” The dragon roared with flames, but then Sanzang took the flames with his wind and burnt the dragon's eyes. “Oops you can’t see my mace? Too bad!” Sanzang went in for the killing blow, but then he felt his energy leave him. The mace turned back into a branch and he fell to the ground. Ajesh picked him up and gave him to Ethan. “Take him to a doctor or something” Ajesh went to the dragon and kneeled to its level. “Sorry about him. It’s his first time.”. Ajesh put his hand on its snout, and blew the whole dragon up, destroying it. “Rest easy.” Ajesh said. They all walked away from the battlefield. Ethan was laughing like a mad man. “That mace is so much more useful than his kicks and punches.”
