“Yo! What’s going on?” Ethan asked Kenji. “We’re just doing what we normally do. This city often gets a lot of demons, but this is more than normal.” Kenji told Ethan through the armor. Sanzang and Ajesh quickly jumped into the fight, killing demons left and right. Thea ran to get her spear, and Ethan manifested his staff. Ethan had no trouble, and beat them with his staff. But the energy he was using started crackling. It was black and red, like normal, but it felt more intense, like it was angered. . Every time he killed a demon, he’d absorb their energy. Ajesh noticed this and ran to Ethan who was using his staff to support himself. Right as Ajesh got to him, Ethan was enveloped in the dark energy. It wrapped around him, creating a sort of armor around him. There were horns on his head extending upwards and back, waving with the wind. His face was covered in energy and an eerie smile and white eyes. The armor covered his body, like flames. And the finished transformation had a monkey tail. In a raspy voice that sounded as if there were an echo coming from him, he said “I don’t want to fight you nobodies, so bring your leader, and most of you demons will survive.”. The demons, awestruck by this being, summoned a portal, and brought a behemoth, around 100 feet tall, carrying a battleaxe. “Who are you to summon me?” the behemoth asked, wiping off the blood of its tusks. Ethan jumped up, extending its rod to 1000 feet long. He singlehandedly smacked the behemoth with his staff, sending it crashing to the ground. Ajesh already was evacuating people before anyone could get hurt. Ethan started to beat the behemoth with his staff, not giving it room to breathe. Then Ethan shrunk the Golden hooped rod, threw it in the air, and increased its width to the size of the behemoth, and the height of it too. It crashed into the behemoth, causing it to explode. Everyone clapped, impressed with Ethan’s performance. He shrunk his staff to normal size. “Alright Ethan the behemoth and almost all the demons are dead. You can go back to normal!” Ajesh yelled. Ethan dashed towards Ajesh and smacked him with the JinguBang, sending him through buildings and out of the city, into the river. Sanzang was surprised, never seeing his older brother lose before. Sanzang walked back a few inches, scared. Thea saw this, whispered something to herself. Suddenly, her eyes turned white, and she gained a silver aura. Music began to play, a fast orchestrated beat. She started to clash with Ethan. “Rhythm vs Overflow. Interesting.” Kenji remarked. They all ran up to help, except Sanzang. Sanzang was still confused, and he started getting memories he’s never seen before. Kenji was blasting beams while punching with the force of a bus, but it had no effect. Same with Jackson’s hammer and Tabias daggers. The only person making a dent was Thea. Sanzang was still freaking out, keeping his hands over his face, trying to stop the memories. He kept seeing visions of a man with red and gold eyes, launching kicks and punches imbued with his Soul, fighting. As he started to lose his mind, he felt someone tap him in the shoulder. He looked up and saw the 7 foot monkey. “Hanuman? The hell are you doing here?” He asked. “I’m just a projection, don’t worry. Only you can see me.” Hanuman replied. “Listen, I just decided to pop by and tell you that those memories are important, but you can’t focus on them right now. Your friends are losing a fight, your brother just got thrown like a ragdoll, your goal is to beat Ethan. No matter what.” Hanuman told Sanzang, and then disappeared. Sanzang was confused, but shook it off. He did a little stretch and yelled to Ethan “Hey Ethan! Catch this!”. Ethan looked up and saw Sanzang above him. Sanzang imbued Divine Soul into a punch, then punched him into the floor causing the ground to break and the windows of the cars in the area to shatter. Thea took the opportunity to stab Ethan with her spear. Ethan quickly got up launching them away. Kenji transformed the arm of the mech into a cannon, and had Jackson blast lightning into the Atlas Armor, charging it up. Tabia then duplicated the mech, surrounding Ethan. “ABSOLUTE CANNON, FIRE!”. All of the mechs fired at Ethan, causing a ginormous explosion. Ethan stumbled, screaming in pain like a monster. Sanzang imbued a kick with energy, and kicked Ethan in the face. Ethan crashed into a building, and struggled to get up. Right as he got up, he used his staff to break Sanzang’s right arm. They clashed, both of them taking extremely harsh blows to their bodies. Sanzang was bleeding everywhere, and while no one could see it, Ethan was in pain. Sanzang then collapsed on the ground. The berserk Ethan ran up to Thea to smack her with his staff, but then he was met with another kick to the face, but it was different. Instead of Divine Soul, it was Chaos. Ethan’s energy was drained from him, and he collapsed. Sanzang panted and put his left fist up in the air, causing a gust of wind that encompassed the entire city. He won the fight.
