Howl delivers the final blow, his Celestial Annihilation charging at Wendy and Purgus with destructive power, aiming to destroy them completely.
His beam was blocked by an unexpected intervention. Maer, the Deity Queen, emerged just in time, her commanding and intimidating presence authoritative and imposing. The powerful beam deviated from its intended path, fading harmlessly into the distance.
Maer's voice rang out, stern and resolute. "That is enough, Howl," she said, her stare penetrating his. "They are to be kept alive."
Howl's face twisted with anger and rage, yet he unwillingly obeyed his mother's demand. He knew better than to challenge the Deity Queen. He reluctantly lowered his power and relaxed his guard.
Maer turned her attention to Purgus and Wendy, her eyes calculating as she raised one hand beneathe her chin "You have indeed won, my son," she said, her voice filled with cold satisfaction. "They will be taken into custody, and you will be one step closer to claiming the throne."
Guards swiftly arrived to apprehend Purgus and Wendy, binding their unconscious bodies and escorting them away under Maer's watchful gaze. Howl stood there, seething with frustration, his victory tinged with a bitter taste.
Howl's rage boiled under the surface as he addressed his mother, baffled by her motivations. "Mother, why do you keep alive the one person I despise?" Purgus is nothing more than a bother, a thorn in our side. "What makes you insist on sparing him?"
Maer's regal face remained expressionless, her eyes locked with her son's burning stare. "Howl, my son," she started, an authoritative tone in her voice. "My ideas have more sophisticated levels than you realize."
Howl's annoyance mounted, as did his impatience. "What ideas? What could they possibly have to do with that? Why keep them alive when it would be so easy to kill them?
Maer remains silent.
"Mother? Are you going to talk to me?" Howl's rage began to fade gradually.
Howl grudgingly acknowledged that his mother's silence indicated she had no intention of clarifying more, realizing that there was something at work beyond his comprehension. He took a long breath, his rage giving way to a calm resolve.
"Very well, Mother," Howl eventually said, his voice softened "I'll leave Purgus and Wendy's alive for the time being , but keep in mind that I have control over their punishment, and I will not forgive their rebellion!"
Maer's gaze remained fixated on her kid, her visage expressionless. "Be careful, Howl. Keep in mind that King Utsu still has the final say. Don't go too far and overstep your boundaries unless you have the Authority to do so."
Howl nodded, his eyes flickering with respect for his mother's authority. "I...I understand, Mother.I will tread carefully."
Howl turned on his heel and stormed away, his mind racing with revenge and the mysteries of the throne. Maer stayed, her enigmatic gaze fixed on her son's leaving figure, her plans emerging in the shadows of their kingdom's convoluted power battles. A Wicked Smirk takes over her face
"Now then, it's time to start Phase 2."
-------------------------------------------------------------------
3 days have passed. Those who were Arrested were Wendy, Purgus, Kolra and Kayo. A broadcast begins, and King Utsu appears on the screen, his regal presence commanding attention. His voice resonates with authority as he addresses the nation.
"My loyal subjects," King Utsu begins, his voice carrying a somber tone. "I stand before you today with a heavy heart, bearing news that has undoubtedly reached your ears already. It is true that Wendyof the Celeston family, a member of the family who was meant to symbolize hope and resistance for many among us, has been aiding the Criminal Purgus. Today, she was taken into custody along with one of the Top 10 Criminals of the kingdom, Purgus."
A wave of murmurs and gasps ripples through the crowd, echoing the mixed emotions that lingered within the hearts of the people.
"I understand the concern and despair that this development has brought upon our land," the King continues, his voice filled with empathy. "However, I implore you to remember that our kingdom is built on principles of justice and fairness. We cannot jump to conclusions or let fear cloud our judgment."
He pauses for a moment, allowing his words to sink in, before continuing with unwavering determination. "Let it be known that the fate of Purgus and Wendy rests not only in the hands of their captors, but also in the hands of our justice system. They will be given a fair trial, where all evidence and testimonies will be thoroughly examined."
The King's comments are reassuring, since they remind the people of the significance of due process and the rule of law. The weight of the situation, though, stays thick in the air, creating a tangible tension.
"I urge you all to remain calm and trust in the integrity of our legal system," King Utsu says, his voice hard yet empathetic. "Times like these test our fortitude, but they also provide an opportunity for us to band together and work toward a brighter future. Let us join hands and assist one another as we confront the challenges ahead."
As the program closes, the audience is left with mixed feelings of optimism, dread, and uncertainty. Purgus and Wendy's fate hangs in the balance, while the kingdom awaits the unfolding of their trial and the ultimate decision that will shape the course of their lives.
As the news of Purgus and Wendy's capture spreads among the poor people, a sense of despair and unrest takes hold. Gathered in small clusters in the streets and huddled in their humble homes, the impoverished citizens share their reactions.
Some of the poor people feel a deep sense of disappointment and frustration. Purgus had served as a symbol of resistance to the injustices they experienced on a daily basis. To many, he symbolized hope for a brighter future, as well as a voice for the oppressed. With his capture, their dreams appeared to have been destroyed, and a sense of pessimism settled in their hearts.
Among the crowd is Rylan, a seasoned warrior with weathered features and a steely gaze. He had fought side by side with Purgus in the past, sharing the battlefield and the bond of brotherhood. Purgus had always been tight-lipped about his personal life, his motivations, and the struggles he faced. Rylan had respected his friend's privacy, understanding the weight that Purgus carried upon his shoulders as the representative of the poor people.
This story originates from Royal Road. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
Rylan had always admired Purgus for his unwavering resolve and determination. He had witnessed Purgus's selflessness firsthand, fighting not only for their own survival but also for the rights of the poor and oppressed. Purgus had been a beacon of hope for Rylan, an inspiration to keep fighting despite the odds.
Now, Rylan's heart is heavy with a sense of loss. He had trusted Purgus like a brother, and yet, there was so much he didn't know about him. The news of his capture only deepens the mystery surrounding Purgus's true motives and the extent of his involvement in the unfolding events.
The underprivileged society congregate in a makeshift meeting space, their voices trembling with worry and anxiety. Whispers and murmurs reverberate across the audience as they debate the need for a new leader, someone who can guide them through these trying times. They are concerned about their representation, their rights, and the future.
Rylan stands among them, dominating their attention. As the talk dies down, he raises his voice, his tone firm and unyielding. "My friends," he says, his voice echoing across the room. "Today, we stand here, united by a common goal, by our shared struggles and aspirations." We don't require a new leader to emerge from the shadows to lead us. We have the ability to battle within ourselves.
His words resonate with the audience, and their gazes gravitate to him, their expressions filled with wonder and hope. Rylan continues with conviction in his voice. "Purgus may be imprisoned, but his spirit lives on in each of us.He battled not for personal glory, but for the sake of everyone. It is our responsibility to continue on his legacy, to unite and free him from the grips of injustice!"
The audience responds with a murmur of agreement, and their eyes light up with a fresh feeling of purpose. Rylan's words strike a chord in their hearts, reminding them of their unity.
"We may not have all of the answers, and we may not know the full extent of the problem. Together, as a united front, we can make our voices heard. We can rally behind the cause of justice, equality, and the freedom of our dear friend, Purgus! We will NOT be divided by fear or uncertainty! Let us rise as one, standing strong and resolute, until the day we bring Purgus back and restore justice to our land! "
The crowd erupts in applause and cheers, their spirits lifted by Rylan's words. They begin to discuss strategies, formulating plans of action to rally their cause and bring Purgus back.
Meanwhile, King Utsu meets with the Celeston family of Maer, the Deity Queen, Howl, the Kingdom's Prince, and Liona. Misty is sleeping in Maer's arms, while Yenza is being held up in an unknown location.
King Utsu sat on his throne, his brow furrowed in profound thought. It was just then that Howl begins to explain his actions in making the entire Celeston family Royalty to King Utsu:
"My King, I understand that my decision may come as a surprise, but I truly believe it is necessary for the stability and strength of our kingdom. The Celestons possess unique abilities and powers that can greatly benefit us in times of need."
Maer Speaks up"Howl has a valid point. While my Mother may have chosen not to get involved with the Royal Family, My Celeston lineage has always been intertwined with the kingdom's history. By acknowledging our role and granting royal status, you bring unity and a sense of purpose to our people."
".... I must admit, it is an unexpected ruling. The Celestons have never been directly connected to the Royal lineage before. This decision goes against the traditions of our kingdom."
Howl gives King Utsu a stern look "Times are changing, and we must adapt! We Celestons possess immense power, and their inclusion in our royal family can bring about a new era of strength and prosperity. Look at Westrow, our greatest warrior, a Celeston himself! His abilities have protected our kingdom countless times! And look at me, your Prince! Haven't I done well as a Neospacian Warrior myself?"
"I cannot deny the strength and potential of the Celestons, nor the passion with which you all argue for their inclusion. If this decision can bring unity and prosperity to our kingdom, then I will trust in your judgment. The Celestons shall continue to be recognized as part of our royal lineage; however, this is another matter I need to Address. your impulsive decision to wage war on one of your own Celeston and Purgus have consequences that can ripple throughout our kingdom. The people of Neospace must be assured that justice prevails, and that their concerns are addressed."
"I apologize, My King, for the turmoil I have caused. I will personally oversee the resolution of this matter. Wendy and Purgus will be given a fair trial, and if found innocent, their names will be cleared. I will ensure that the people understand this well."
King Utsu nodded, acknowledging Howl's commitment to right his wrongs.
King Utsu's gaze suddently became stern and intense as he leaned forward on his throne. The weight of his words hung heavily in the air, causing a sense of foreboding to settle over the room. Howl, Maer, and Liona exchanged glances, their curiosity piqued by the sudden change in the atmosphere.
" Now that that's out of the way, there is a matter of utmost importance that requires our immediate attention. It is a threat that has the potential to shake the very foundations of the Royal Family, and with it, the stability of our entire kingdom."
Silence enveloped the room as the members of the Celeston Family held their breath, waiting for King Utsu to continue. The gravity of his words sank in, each second increasing the sense of anticipation and anxiety.
"There are dark forces at play, forces that have infiltrated our realm and seek to unravel the delicate balance we have fought so hard to maintain. One of them is a Monster with blue skin.. It was a being unlike any I have ever seen before. Its beauty was undeniable, yet its essence was steeped in darkness. It possessed an allure that Queen Xinia, may she rest in peace, could not resist. In the midst of their battle, Queen Xinia's guard faltered, and the creature seized the opportunity. .. I regret to inform all of you that Queen Xinia has been killed.."
A heavy silence filled the room as the members of the Celeston Family absorbed the shocking revelation. The loss of Queen Xinia, a respected and beloved figure, struck a deep chord within their hearts.
"The creature's power was overwhelming, fueled by pure darkness. It unleashed abilities that defied explanation, and Queen Xinia fought valiantly against it. But alas, her strength was no match for the entity's insidious tactics."
Howl's fists clenched at his sides, his eyes burning with determination. Maer's gaze hardened, her mind already formulating a plan of action. Liona's expression twisted with anger, vowing silently to avenge the fallen Queen.
"After the Death of Queen Xinia, the creature did something with her body. The body vanished without a trace. We must find this creature, discover its motives, and retrieve Queen Xinia's remains to honor her properly. We owe it to her memory and to the future of our kingdom. The Creature called itself a 'Deity Buster', and claims that there is more of them. It's goal is to wipe out the Entire Celeston Family."
The revelation sent a chill down the spines of the Celeston Family. The name "Deity Buster" echoed in their minds, its ominous implications lingering in the air. The threat against their entire lineage struck at the core of their existence.
Howl's eyes narrowed, a fiery determination replacing the shock on his face. He would not let this entity's declaration go unanswered.
" A 'Deity Buster,' you say? Bold words for a mere creature! It underestimates the strength of the Celeston Family. We will not be erased so easily!"
Maer's expression hardened further, her regal demeanor concealing the seething anger within her.
"To think that such audacity exists in this world! This creature seeks to challenge the very foundation of our lineage?! It shall face the wrath of the Celeston Family and learn the folly of underestimating our power!"
"The knowledge that there may be more of these "Deity Busters" only reinforces the urgency of our task. We must gather our strength, pool our resources, and prepare ourselves for the battles that lie ahead. Your very existence as Celeston's is at stake."
