INSIDE A CABIN,

Here's the corrected version:

---

Three middle-aged Chunin with average looks, brown hair, and eyes surrounded a small child, approximately 6 years old, who sat on his chair without a care in the world.

It seemed as though he couldn't perceive the bewildered expressions on the faces of the three shinobi, who appeared as if they had heard something utterly unbelievable.

**CREAK!**

**THUMP! THUMP!**

The sounds of waves, creaking wood, and the thumping heartbeats of the Chunin filled the silent cabin.

Although shinobi are trained to control their emotions, they found it difficult to snap out of their daze after hearing something so astonishing.

After several minutes, the Chunin leader named Kinoe regained his composure and tried to recall the image of Red Shirogane he had seen a year ago, along with his distinctive features such as his hair color.

"Are you kidding us, kid?" Kinoe remembered everything and realized that while the child before him bore some resemblance to Shodai's nephew, his hair color was different. Moreover, as an experienced shinobi, he could discern that the child hadn't dyed his hair.

He decided to test the waters by threatening the child to verify his claim, knowing that it wouldn't bode well to take the child back to the village without confirming his identity. In the past, some had made that mistake and ended up six feet under.

"Ehh! What do you mean by that?" Red asked uncertainly, as he had already shown evidence provided by his Aunt Chiyo to prove his identity if, by any chance, he couldn't enter Sunagakure or was in danger. She had also assured him that every Sand-nin would assist him after he showed them the scroll. However, the shinobi before him didn't seem to recognize the scroll's value.

Though Red could easily overpower and escape from these Chunin, they were Sunagakure's personnel, people he was obliged to protect. Thus, he attempted to resolve the matter peacefully, knowing that once he reached Sunagakure, his concerns would be addressed by Aunt Chiyo, Uncle Ebizo, and Baldy Shamon.

"Oh! You don't know? Then tell me, how did you get here?"

"I don't know."

"Then where did you come from?"

"I don't know."

"Why is your hair red and not white?"

"I don't know."

...

...

...

"I don't know."

Kinoe bombarded Red with a series of questions, but the only response he received was "I don't know." Red genuinely had no knowledge of his condition, which greatly irked Kinoe. He even contemplated torturing the brat to extract the answers he sought.

However, considering the possibility that the child might indeed be the real Red Shirogane, Kinoe suppressed his urge to harm him.

**"Haaa!"**

After the bewildering exchange of questions and answers, Kinoe rubbed his temples and let out a deep sigh. He glanced at the scroll that indicated its holder was Red Shirogane and tried to recall anything he might have overlooked.

After a moment, he opened his eyes, a glint appearing in them unnoticed by his subordinates but caught by Red. Red couldn't shake the feeling that Kinoe was up to no good.

He attempted to stand, but Kinoe had already grabbed his shoulders, wearing a face that seemed to express enlightenment or a divine revelation.

**"Gulp!"**

Red couldn't help but gulp nervously upon seeing Kinoe's expression. Though, He resisted the urge to slap Kinoe's face hard the moment he saw it.

"What do you want?" Red asked, unsure of Kinoe's intentions.

"Don't fear me, little child! Uncle won't harm you. Right?"

"Hai!"

"Hai."

Kinoe spoke in a soft tone that seemed as harmless as a kidnapper's reassurance to a child, while retrieving a kunai from his ninja bag. He also enlisted the help of his two subordinates, who replied in kind tones, seemingly oblivious to the sharp kunai in Kinoe's hand.

Red raised his guard, prepared to retaliate if Kinoe tried anything funny.

"So, little friend, I just want something from you," Kinoe said, attempting to muster the kindest smile he could, though it resembled more of an evil grin.

"What do you want?" Red inquired, genuinely curious about Kinoe's intentions.

"Nothing much, little friend. I just want your blood!"
