Chapter T31 I Only Care About You, Gege~

"Wait, quietly approach the shore. Don't get too close, don't fire your guns!"

Quinn and Gehrman sat on the small boat, with Gehrman steering towards the direction of the mermaid's song. Quinn reminded him, "I'll use my ability to attract the mermaids, but whether they sing or not depends on their mood."

"Got it?"

Are you some kind of Japanese officer or something... Klein, disguised as Gehrman Sparrow, silently nodded.

After a while, the boat reached the place where the singing was coming from. Gehrman took out a small bottle, while Quinn looked around and chuckled, "Heh heh... flower girls..."

A gentle affinity radiated out, targeting only the mermaids to avoid attracting unwanted creatures.

Splash, splash!

One by one, wet figures emerged from the sea in the distance, revealing half of their bodies and curiously looking around.

These creatures had human heads, their pure features tinged with a touch of allure. Their chests were prominently raised but covered with dark red scales. Their lower bodies were large fish tails, rhythmically moving in the water.

Quinn leaned over the boat's edge and cheerfully called out to them, "Ladies, how about a song?"

As soon as he said this, his voice blended into the wind, transforming into a frequency incomprehensible to normal humans, and reached the mermaids.

Along with the sound went an aura that made the mermaids drop their guard, making Quinn and Gehrman appear like two oddly shaped comrades.

Splash, splash! The mermaids giggled, leaping onto the rocks, and began to sing in harmony, sending their ethereal melody to the travelers from afar.

It really worked! Klein watched in amazement as Quinn chatted happily with the mermaids. He thought to himself: The circus could use someone like you!

Not wasting any time, he immediately uncorked the bottle and drank the "Marionettist" potion inside.

Quinn leisurely listened to the singing, watching Gehrman's body slowly transform, his skin turning yellow-brown, tiny worm-like things writhing under his skin. He muttered to himself, "So ugly..."

This comment also carried on the sea breeze to the rocks, where the mermaids glanced at Gehrman and nodded in agreement.

Quinn couldn't help but take another look at Gehrman, muttering again, "Really ugly..."

"I heard that."

"Whoa!"

The aura of kinship disappeared instantly, and the mermaids plunged off the rocks in panic, diving back into the sea.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

"Hey, um... Gehrman, you scared the mermaids away!"

Quinn pretended to be angry, yelling at Gehrman.

Gehrman didn't respond, merely repeating coldly, "I heard that."

"Okay, okay, you heard it..."

Quinn's feigned bravado quickly dissipated, and his voice involuntarily lowered.

"Am I ugly?"

A strange face suddenly approached, only a few centimeters from Quinn's. Gehrman's voice sounded in his ear.

The unfamiliar, stunningly beautiful face before him appeared white and soft, tempting one to pinch it gently. Each feature seemed to fit perfectly with Quinn's aesthetic, the hot breath on his face almost stopping his thoughts.

After an unknown amount of time, Gehrman returned to his original position and resumed his normal appearance.

Quinn snapped out of his daze, marveling at Gehrman's face, "Gehrman, with a face like that, you could have countless rich people spending tens of thousands of pounds on you, just for your company at meals and parties."

Tens of thousands of pounds... Klein admitted he was momentarily tempted. No, this is a matter of principles! In an instant, he extinguished the thought.

Quinn continued, "It's a pity, though. That aura is too cold."

"Some rich people might like that kind of flavor, but men generally prefer a more feminine vibe."

Gehrman, expressionless, steered the boat slowly towards the "Future." He stared at the turbulent sea, scoffing, "Then show me what feminine vibe is like."

As soon as he said it, Klein regretted it.

"Hmph..."

"Gege, Gege~"

As Quinn started speaking, a vast life force radiated out. Unlike the madness-inducing whispers, this alluring temptation stirred one's soul. Just hearing it made Klein's blood rush.

"If you buy this for me, Mother Goddess won't be angry, will she~"

Playing some unknown role, Quinn took out a pink glass bottle, humorously decorated with a large heart. The bluish-purple liquid inside swirled gently.

Quinn brought the bottle close to his lips but didn't drink. He only pretended to gulp, "Glug, glug, delicious. Gehrman~ want a taste?"

Klein's body stiffened as he gripped the rudder, his mind a muddled mess, only hearing Quinn's uncharacteristically gentle voice and the pink bottle getting closer.

He managed to stutter, "What's... that?"

Quinn blinked and smiled, "Guess?"

Klein turned away, choosing to refuse from his heart. He didn't need to think to know it wasn't something from the normal world.

Quinn didn't force Gehrman to drink the bluish-purple liquid. Instead, he continued to invade Gehrman's mind. Every word carried a mysterious allure, driving one to madness:

"Gege, you sail a little boat, taking me with you. If Ghadaliah finds out~ she won't beat me, right!"

"Your captain is scary, unlike me. I only care about Gege~"

Despite each sentence being absurd and disgusting, they still made one irresistibly drawn in, eager to listen.

Klein's mind was almost captured, Quinn's face seemed stunningly attractive, purer than any child, more tempting than any witch, awakening primal desires within him.

"Stop...!"

Just as he was about to lose control and do something, Quinn retracted his life domain.

"How was it? Understand what aura is now~"

Quinn threw a coquettish glance, smugly looking at Gehrman. But without the mysterious aura, Klein only felt a chill and disgust.

Klein didn't want to discuss this topic further to avoid any more outrageous actions from the demigod.

He instinctively avoided Quinn's gaze, asking, "What was that potion just now?"

"Oh, that?" Quinn stuffed the glass bottle back into his pocket and casually said, "Just something that can turn you into a woman."

What the hell! Klein couldn't believe he was just a few centimeters away from losing his manhood.

Klein shut his mouth, deciding he wouldn't engage in any more dangerous interactions with this compatriot until they left the "Future."

Not long after, their boat slowly returned to the "Future," where Frank, Anderson, and others were already waiting on the deck.

What a mutually torturous trip... Klein grumbled in his mind.

What an interesting trip! Quinn thought happily.

Frank stood on the deck, holding a large green fish. He looked around, puzzled, and asked Anderson, "Hey, where's the captain?"

In the captain's cabin of the "Future," all the curtains were drawn. Ghadaliah replayed the scenes from the small boat, almost laughing herself to tears.
