The pink energy shredded his oversized clothes, revealing the villain costume that he had been wearing underneath it this whole time. Felix pulled a cord, and his dark purple cape unfurled itself in the slight breeze. After all, there was no more reason for him to be playing the part of a hero anymore.
“I am Felix Pagonis, a villain.” He kept his hood on. “I’m not from Greece, nor am I from your reality. I was an eighteen year old soldier, abandoned by my own world and banished into yours. My true allegiance lay with the League Of Villains ever since I arrived here, and I was placed as a mole in U.A. High.”
A solitary tear rolled down his cheek.
“I do not wish to fight you, my friends. You were never supposed to be here in the first place,” he said. “Leave. Go home, and pretend you saw none of this. This fight is between me and the pro heroes. Stay out of this and you’ll be safe.”
The students slowly got into combat stances instead.
“I didn’t want to believe it, Felix.” Ochaco’s voice trembled with hurt. “But you have left us no doubt. Deku was our friend… Deku was your friend! How could you do this?”
“I looked up to you, Pagonis. I respected you,” Todoroki said behind gritted teeth. “I even considered you a friend. But all this time, you… you were lying to us.”
“There must be some reason you’re doing this, Pagonis!” Kirishima shouted. “You’re not the type to be a villain. I just know you’re not!”
“It’s not too late to turn back now,” Momo added. “If you’re being coerced into this in any form, let us help you. Please come back to us.”
Felix clenched his fists in frustration. Why wouldn’t they just understand and accept him for what he is?
“I was never a hero.” The boy flipped open his hood. “Take a good look at me. I’m real! This is real! I’m a monster. I have always been a villain!”
“You bastard!” Tenya was the first to lash out in pain. “I trusted you. I can’t believe I brought you on this mission! Why… Why…?”
Felix barely felt the strikes that his friends landed. They may be fletchling superheroes, but they were still only teenagers. And most of all, it was obvious that they were reluctant to hurt him.
“Stop it.”
The psychic swung his cape dramatically, flinging his attackers away. He stood tall, despite how much it hurt to retaliate. He stood firm, even though the world was now against him. The least he could do was avoid hurting the ones he cared about.
“I’m sorry, but not everyone can be saved.” Felix flung his hand, tossing his screaming classmates into the distance.
Stray movement caught his attention. The fibre master had somehow regained consciousness, and was staggering to his feet.
“You… you must be wondering… how we caught on to you, am I right?” The hero coughed, clutching his chest as blood stained his lips.
Felix did not deign to look back. That man was no longer a threat anyway.
“Your hero name, Sentinel. Or should I say, your villain name,” the fibre master continued. “Pixiebob heard the warp villain call it out at the mountains. It wasn’t planned, but she happened to catch you while searching for Kota herself. Eraserhead has already told us everything. Justice prevails.”
“But you won’t once I’m through with you,” the boy growled as magenta flared from his body.
“It’s too late, villain. Heroes have already locked onto Katsuki Bakugo’s location and are currently engaged in battle with the League Of Villains. It won’t be long before your allies are subdued.”
“That supposed to be some sort of threat?” Felix hid his dismay.
As per All For One’s instructions, if the heroes catch onto them, he was to go after All Might and destroy the Symbol Of Peace immediately. But confident as he was in his own abilities, fighting All Might was going to be no easy feat.
He turned to the hero, putting the pantalone mask on his face this time.
“You’re a fool if you think that’s gonna intimidate me,” he said. “You’ve lost; you can barely stand. Why are you even telling me all this?”
“Because young delinquents like you need to understand the consequences of your choices. And also…” Fibre Master stepped back, a victorious look dancing in his eyes for some reason. “I needed to buy some time for them to arrive.”

A shockwave burst from above Felix. He leapt backwards, narrowly avoiding the enormous column of fire scorching the ground where he had just stood. Multiple figures landed from the sky, surrounding him in a circle.
“Good job stalling him, Best Jeanist.” Endeavour gestured for the injured fibre master to fall back. “Gang Orca, Kamui Woods, watch my mark.”
A man with wood for his skin nodded, while a killer whale dressed in a suit got into a combat stance. It was clear which name belonged to which hero. One of the training camp facilitators, Tiger, as well as Gran Torino were also present.
“I would advise you to surrender, boy.” Gran Torino was the first to speak. “We already have irrefutable proof of your involvement with the League Of Villains. More heroes are also on their way as we speak. There is no conceivable way you can defeat all of us.”
Felix cackled like a madman.
“It’s funny how egoistic you heroes can be,” he said. “Where is All Might? Is he too afraid to show his face? Or is he too busy trying to help out with your little rescue mission? Not a very smart thing to waste resources sending so many heroes after me, isn’t it?”
The flames on Endeavour’s body burned even brighter.
“Bakugo has already been rescued, and All Might is after Izuku Midoriya,” the flame hero said. “We will handle you by ourselves.”
“Is that so? All Might is my mission, but I wager I still have a little time to play with you lot.” The psychic scoffed, unfolding his arms. “So before we begin, is there anyone who wishes to leave?”
The heroes didn’t need a second invitation. Trunks of wood burst from Kamui Woods, restraining Felix immediately. Gang Orca took the opportunity to emit a paralysing sound at the villain, while Tiger rushed forward for a full powered punch.
Felix smirked. All these circus freaks had were parlour tricks.
A force field blotted out the sound easily, before reflecting it back at the oversized Orca. Fragments of wood exploded outwards as the psychic broke free without strain. Wind whistled in Felix’s ears as he darted around, engaging both Gran Torino and Tiger in hand to hand combat. The old man had speed on his side, while the feline had power. But they were useless against the god-like Esper.
Felix kept his martial stance up, parrying the flurry of blows easily. Although he had the advantage of boosted strength and speed, his opponents were masters at close ranged combat. The fight soon dragged onto a stalemate.
“Move aside, you two! I’ll incinerate him!”
The boy’s feet cut through the air as the two heroes withdrew abruptly. Endeavour stepped forward, white hot flames pooling in his fist. Gran Torino’s eyes widened with shock.
“Endeavour!” he called out.
“He’s a villain now, elder! I must put him down!” Endeavour yelled, keeping his aim on the boy. “Flashfire Fist: Jetburn!”
A blinding stream of fire hurtled towards Felix, lighting up the night sky as though it was daytime. It collided with its target squarely as the hero continued yelling with effort. The flames began to turn blue-
“Arrgghh!”
Darkness flooded back in as the fire vanished abruptly. Felix squeezed his fist vindictively, choking out the ball of fire in his force field. His arms fell back to his side, and he began to rise up in the air. Endeavour’s mouth hung open in disbelief.
“Insolent heroes. Now you’re screwed.”
Lightning crackled as electricity burst towards the flame hero. Tiger took the hit before it could reach him and collapsed to the ground, paralysed from the shock.
Gang Orca leapt off a makeshift path of wood and tackled the boy. He threw a powerful punch, knocking Felix back a few metres. It only served to piss off the psychic even further.
“Psionic Freeze,” Felix muttered, encasing the marine hero in a thick layer of ice.
He turned his attention to the wooden bullets pelting against his force field, before imbuing the air with a burst of heat. Kamui Woods screamed in pain, crashing into his surroundings as flames engulfed his entire body. But the villain wasn’t finished.
Felix closed in on Endeavour with a flash of speed and pressed his fingers on his head. A sadistic sense of jubilation rippled through his veins as his mind broke through the hero’s weak mental defences.
“Burn in the inferno of your sins.”
The man trashed and screamed, but it was no use. The psychic’s mind seared through his brain, ripping out every memory of the past and trapping his mind in a telepathic nightmare. It wasn’t permanent, but it served well enough to incapacitate him-
Pain stung his flesh, and Felix let go of his victim abruptly.
He looked up, only to see more pro heroes in front of him. The boy hissed in annoyance. Just how many of these heroes did this world have? At this rate, All Might would already have rescued Izuku by the time he was done with all these people.
Screw this, I’m getting out of here.
Felix had scarcely flown five metres into the air when he was knocked down by a flash of yellow. He rolled to his feet, glaring at the old man who had kicked him back to the ground.
“Your fight’s not over yet, kid.”
The boy glanced at the reinforcements tending to the incapacitated heroes. He never thought it would come to this, but he could really use some backup of his own right now.
Black goo burst around him, as if on cue with his plea. Felix looked around him frantically. What happened? How-
“Attention, cast members!”
Rubble hurtled towards the heroes, causing them to scuttle in different directions. Felix’s face lit up with joy. The League Of Villains had arrived.
Gran Torino turned to Sir Nighteye. “Villains? I thought you had them handled!”
“The other team has their hands full fighting nomus,” Nighteye said grimly. “I don’t know how, but those monsters were suddenly warped there even though this lab has already been destroyed.”
“You’ve been quite the marvellous lead, my friend.” Compress spun his staff theatrically. “But it’s time for us to take the second act.”
“We’ll hold them here while you complete Master’s duty,” Shigaraki said, pulling the gloves off his hand. “You’re our SSR card. Defeat the final boss for us.”
Felix nodded and disappeared into the clouds with a sonic boom.
