It was the worst day any person has had, waking up on the first day of school. It seemed like an ordinary end of summer vacation day, I woke up with butterflies in my stomach thinking about going to a new class. My mom yelled at me, and rushed me to gather my things and prepare for school.
She gave me a kiss on the cheek and I left for school. As I was leaving the house, I was stopped in my tracks. I knew we just got next door neighbors, but I never saw them or heard from them at that. But I saw a black haired girl leaving home in my school’s uniform.
Hair black as night, skin fair as it can be, beautiful as good the dictionary could describe it. I stood there motionless, mind unconscious from the bewitching site my eyes could see.
She turned her head not paying a sliver of attention to me and walked towards the direction of school. I kept a distance trying not to seem suspicious and so my eyes didn't burn out from the light she gave off.
Mom only told me they came from Europe, but she never mentioned them being models. As I kept thinking I didn't realize I had already arrived at the school.
I couldn’t stop staring at the building, scared to enter a strange place with no surroundings. I felt as if running away was my best option, but then I thought about what my mother would do and walked in.
As I walked through the hallways trying to find my class, I saw that girl again. She entered the class I had written down on my paper. What was the universe trying to do?
As I walked in the class hoping she doesn’t think I'm a stalker. I saw that she sat near the window in the back, reading a book. Her hair blew with the wind as if it was scripted. Before I could continue watching the tacky movie, the teacher walked in causing everybody to scatter like ants.

But the thing that caught my eye the most was how everybody found a seat and skipped the good looking girl by the window. What kind of sh*t is this. The teacher watched as all the seats filled and saw me still standing. She walked over to me and said “You should go sit there”. As she directed me toward her once again, some part of me wasn’t surprised anymore.
I walked over, threw my bag down and sat on the open chair. I took a deep breath from the confusing set of events that had been happening. While I was trying to rest, she leaned over to me, causing my heart to burst out my chest.
“Are you one of those mysterious stalkers you see on tv, I must warn you before you try anything, I have a gun.” She said those words with the straightest face, causing my heart to beat for another reason.
“I-I'm not a stalker, but what the hell are you talking about why do you have a gun?” I whispered to her as the teacher talked to the class. Trying to contain my fright from everyone in the room
“Ok, great cause I didn’t know what I would’ve done if you tried something funny”. As she said those words it clicked she never denied anything about the gun, does this girl really have a gun, am I sitting next to a psychopath.
The teacher left the class, causing everyone to start chatting once more. I felt as if running out this school and telling my mother I would never go back, but that might put me in a hospital faster than any gun.
I wanted to know what to do, I kept scratching my head, until she noticed me
She laid down her book and turned to me. “What’s your name”
“E-Emmanuel Wright, why are you asking all of a sudden? ”
“My name is Stella. Stella D’Angelo. I have one request listen carefully, quiet down or else”
