SCP #: SCP-9100 (colloquially known as “Always there”, and “The void thing” among researchers.)
Containment Class: Keter
Disruption Class: Vlam
Risk Class: Notice
Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-9100-1 are to be held in an appropriate containment unit, at any available site, until further notice. No testing is to be conducted on SCP-9100-1 instances. Should you test with one of these instances, provided that you survive, you will be demoted to D-class personnel, and you will have priority when electing the next d-class to put in the femur breaker.
Researcher’s note: Seriously, don't fuck with this thing. See addendum 9100.2, and ask why the names aren't present. As far as we can tell, 9100 is made of pure entropy. Literal nothingness embodied. I repeat. Do. Not. Fuck. With. The. Void. Thing.
Description: SCP-9100 is best described as nothingness, a vaguely humanoid entity constructed of complete entropy. SCP-9100 very quickly gets attached to entities and people, behaving similar to an overprotective parent. For the safety of any and all creatures, it is highly advised that they do not behave with the intent to harm, maim or scare SCP-9100-1 instances. See addendum 9100.2. SCP-9100 seems to be relatively friendly, though will become incredibly aggressive if it believes that an instance of SCP-9100-1 is in danger. See addendum 9100.2.

Discovery log
SCP-9100 was discovered during a containment breach, when SCP-682 was assaulting junior researcher ###. SCP-9100 seemed to materialize inbetween junior researcher ### and SCP-682, which apparently caused SCP-682 to enter something similar to a seizure-state, where it panicked and, for the first time in Foundation history (to my knowledge), apologized to a human being, and begged for forgiveness. In light of this, after SCP-9100 was classified, SCP-682’s security now also mandates informing it that there is an instance of SCP-9100-1, or “The void thing”, is present on site whenever it appears that SCP-682 is going to attempt to breach containment.

Testing log/security breach
Preface: SCP-9100-1-a, junior researcher ###, had passed away due to a misfire from security during a simulated containment breach, aimed at testing the reaction time of the staff. The following is a transcript of the events that followed, recorded from the security cameras.
[BEGIN LOG]
As the alarm goes off, junior researcher begins to panic in the break room, and hides underneath the table. Five minutes later, a security guard who was not officially briefed on the test entered the room, and shot junior researcher ### four times, though only one bullet connected at the base of junior researcher ###’s skull.
Guard: Oh shit! Shit shit!
The guard seems to panic, and then panics even further as they only see one entry wound on junior researcher ###.
Guard: what the fuck? Didn't i shoot four times?
The gun, still in the guard’s hands, seems to lose all structural integrity, falling to pieces in his hands.
Guard: oh fu-!
The guard seems to stop talking mid sentence, though their mouth still moves. They appear to be screaming in pain as their ears begin to bleed, and they cough up blood. Their right hand begins to dissolve into a powder, followed by their arm.
It is at this point that SCP-9100 seems to appear, its ‘head’ looking down on the guard who has adopted the fetal position. The plants, furniture and lighting fixtures in the room all beginning to turn to powder, which then also begins to dissolve.
The guard seems to scream at SCP-9100, but no sound is made. The contents of the coffee machine fall to the ground, shattering audibly, before simply disappearing.
The guard begins to dissolve, from their extremities inwards, in what appears to be an incredibly painful process judging by their silent screams and writhing.
As the guard finishes dissolving, all materials in the room not essential to structural stability also begin to turn to powder, gasses and liquids that seem to behave as the raw elements of the objects. This includes some of the walls, releasing multiple other SCPs, many of which were also dissolved. The final thing the camera sees is SCP-9100 spreading out into the room, like a pressurized gas.
Later inspection of the area revealed that when SCP-9100 expanded, all loose matter simply ceased to exist, and the structural integrity was also severely compromised due to the vacuum induced by SCP-9100. The only exception to this damage was a perfectly preserved oak coffin, containing junior researcher ###
Three weeks later, SCP-9100 was seen following the youngest male researcher present on site for approximately 12 seconds before disappearing.
