With a flash of light blue, the Tobi Kadachi charges at the Anjanath with its mouth wide open and electricity flying off of every surface of its body.
The blur of blue that is the Tobi Kadachi is hard to follow with regular eyes and before anyone could anticipate it, the Tobi Kadachi was on the shoulder of the Anjanath with its teeth sunk into the thick hide of the large bipedal beast.
RRROOOOOAAARRRR!!!
The Anjanath roars in anger and whips its head towards the Tobi Kadachi and goes to grab the blue beast with its large mouth but something caused the Anjanath to fall backward and groan in pain.
The Tobi Kadachi had sent electricity through its body and slightly stunned the Anjanath for a second before the Anjanath could grab ahold of the electric beast's body, but this is only delaying the inevitable.
The Anjanath is nearly twice the size of the Tobi Kadachi and has considerable vitality so it quickly recovers from the shocking experience.
Without caring about the electric shocks this time, the Anjanath ruthlessly goes to grab the Tobi Kadachi attached to its shoulder but the Tobi Kadachi expected this.
SSNNAAAPPPP.
The sound of the Anjanath mouth snapping together echoes throughout the forest and signifies the Anjanath had missed. The reason for this is because the Tobi Kadachi had jumped off the large Anjanath and opened the skin flaps built into its sides, making it glide upwards, like a flying squirrel from Steven's old world.
In the air, the Tobi Kadachi maneuvers itself towards a tree and grasp onto the tree tightly, hanging on for dear life. The reason for it to be so high and sticking to the tree so intensely is that the Anjanath is now enraged.
A pair of bizarre looking nostril fringes flares up at the snout of the Anjanath. Steven recognizes that these are only there to increase the Anjanath's smelling ability but it also seems to warn any of the challengers of the Anjanath about the wrath that is soon to come.
Knowing what is coming next and realizing that he might not be safe, Steven aims his left arm towards the sky and aims for the highest tree branch that he can.
Within a few seconds, Steven is 20' feet above the Tobi Kadachi's location and 40' above the head of the Anjanath, which is starting to spark flames at the mouth.
The flames inside of the mouth of the Anjanath keep building up more and more until they completely dissipate for reasons unknown to the Tobi Kadachi but Steven knows exactly why.
The Anjanath looks up to the Tobi Kadachi and a sound erupts from within it that seems to be laughing to Steven. The Tobi Kadachi roars at the Anjanath but its roar isn't enough to even slightly faze the large pink and grey colored beast.
The Anjanath opens its mouth wide in the direction of the Tobi Kadachi and a small flame can be seen in the deepest depths of its throat.
The Tobi Kadachi goes to fly away, but it is already too late. A stream of flames that is equivalent to a laser beam shoots out at the Tobi Kadachi and completely envelops the body of the poor beast.
The Tobi Kadachi lets out a painful and hoarse roar and falls to the ground while squirming all over the place, trying to put out the scorching flames.
Before the Tobi Kadachi can completely put out the flames, the Anjanath charges at it and readies its large mouth to finally finish off the Tobi Kadachi.
Something builds up within Steven though. He feels as if this isn't right, something is very wrong here. In Turf Wars, when a victor is decided, both beasts part ways and the loser leaves the area completely, never to return. It seems as though the Anjanath wishes to kill the Tobi Kadachi in cold blood though.
As the ground shakes with the Anjanath charging at high speeds, Steven's body moves on its own and he pulls out a poisonous berry out of his pouch.
Placing it between the two horns on his right gauntlet, Steven readies his slingshot and he aims for the main weak spot that the Anjanath has.
The eye.
With a pull of a trigger near his palm, the slingshot fires and the berry flies at high speeds at the moving Anjanath. Before the berry even hits the Anjanath, Steven prepares another berry and is ready to fire again, but it seems that will be unnecessary.

The splat of the berry hitting the Anjanath's right eye is music to Steven's ears as the sudden disturbance is enough to stun the charging brute wyvern.
The heels of the Anjanath grind into the ground as the Anjanath does its best to stop and once it finally does, it begins to wildly flail its head left to right and roar wildly.
RRRROOOOOOAAAAARRRRRRR
The roar of the Anjanath is pain and long. The roar of the beast is enough to shake Steven straight to his core and be forced to cover his ears in fear of becoming deaf.
Shaking his head to get the ringing out of his ears, Steven wasn't watching and the Anjanath ran directly towards the tree he was standing on in its blind fit of rage.
The side of the Anjanath slams into the thick tree Steven is standing on and he quickly loses his balance. Wobbling on the high tree branch for a few seconds, Steven is, unfortunately, unable to regain his balance and ultimately falls.
With the wind whistling through his ears, Steven falls towards the ground at a high speed. He grows to aim his grappling hook at the tree beside him but the roar of a certain beast interrupts him. Looking down, Steven sees that the Anjanath had noticed his decent and figured that Steven is the one who shot the painful berry into its eye.
The Anjanath bends its muscular legs and springs into the air. Its mouth is wide open and if waiting for Steven to enter and meet his demise.
Steven frantically searches through his mind about what to do as the rate of speed at which he is going down and the Anjanath coming up is faster than the speed of his grappling hook. Figuring brandishing his weapon is his only option, Steven pulls the sword and shield combo from his holster attached to his back and readies his shield.
The time in which Steven will reach the Anjanath is less than a second now and Steven can begin to see the fine details of the Anjanath's horrifying body.
The sharp glint of its teeth, the extremely large muscles bulging from its body, the dead gaze in its eyes, the scars littering the beast's body. This Anjanath doesn't seem to be any normal beast. To Steven, this monster is a beast among beasts. An apex predator in its prime, and it is waiting for Steven to come into its mouth for the revenge of its eye.
But that revenge will never come.
Right before Steven's body reaches he grasps of the Anjanath's mouth, a blue blur appears in the corner of Steven's eye and the Tobi Kadachi from before slams its body into that of the Anjanath. This time as well, the intensity of the electricity from before has tripled.
Once the two bodies collide, blue light flashes and blinds Steven and the horrifying roar of a beast being gravely injured deafen Steven at the same time. Steven flinches as he expected to be in the Anjanath's mouth by now but the feeling of wind rushing past his face is still going.
When Steven's vision finally returns to him, the ground is extremely close and all he can do to protect himself and put his shoulder into his shield and point the face of the shield towards the ground.
BOOOOM
Through Steven cannot hear much at the moment, he can feel the shockwave of his shield hitting the ground reverberate throughout his whole body. Following that, Steven expects pain to come.
"Ahhhh!.... Ah?"
Steven had expected every bone in his body to be broken, yet he feels no pain whatsoever. He had instinctively started to scream but as soon as he realized he was not hurt, he said 'Ah?' in a surprised tone.
Steven gets up and removes his shield from the ground, which it has made a massive dent in the damp ground of the rainforest floor. He quickly brushes off the shield and himself, checking for any broken bones but yet he still can't find any injuries.
Maybe it was due to his body augmentations that he didn't take any fall damage, but Steven decides to not look a gift horse in the mouth and accept the blessing bestowed upon him.
Looking around to see what happened to the Anjanath, Steven can see a large tree snapped in half and under the fallen half lays the Anjanath. It is still breathing but it seems to be unconscious and injured for the time being. Soon, Steven notices a large blue scaled creature slowly making its way towards him.
The Tobi Kadachi's body is covered in burns and scratches and the webbing attached to its sides that is used for flying seems to be torn in some places but it is determined to make it to Steven. Its face isn't that one of anger or danger, but longing and admiration.
Steven decides to help the Tobi Kadachi out and begins to walk towards it. Soon, Steven and the beast that has the body of a flying squirrel and the head that looks like a snake are apart 3 feet apart from each other. It seems to be expecting Steven to do something as it stares at him, eyes full of anticipation.
Steven feels something deep inside of his heart begin to burn and soon his right hand also begins to burn with intense heat. Steven quickly throws the gauntlet belonging to his right hand and finds the source of the burning.
A familiar tattoo is shining a bright white and emitting a beautiful aura. The aura soon completely wraps Steven's body and extends slightly towards the Tobi Kadachi.
Soon, an aura forms around the Tobi Kadachi, one that is bright blue and brimming with bright lightning. Steven's eyes turn big at the beautiful and powerful display of lightning in front of it and he reaches out to try and grab the aura of the Tobi Kadachi.
His hand enters the brilliant aura of the Tobi Kadachi and his hand soon meets the Tobi Kadachi's head. It begins to coo at Steven like a pigeon and rubs up against his shining hand.
Their two auras swirl around each other and begin to mix. The white aura of Steven completely overwhelms the aura of the Tobi Kadachi and absorbs it rather quickly. Steven's tattoo shines its brightest and blinds both man and beast for a brief second.
Within that brief second, Steven feels something begin to pulse inside of him. It is a warm and tingly feeling. As Steven opens his eyes after being blinded, a tattoo of a black widow spider is firmly engraved onto his hand once again and also onto the forehead of the Tobi Kadachi.
'Thank you for choosing me to be worthy of a contract massster.' The Tobi Kadachi says telepathically to Steven.
