For a while now, I have been sensing strange things happening in the estate. It has been going on for a while now and I can’t get it out of my head. At first, I thought I was just seeing or overthinking things too much. Can’t wrap my head about the subtle changes in the estate, I decided to sneak on one of the people that has been showing the most changes.

I happened to see her walking inside another female attendant’s shared room, so I followed her from afar. After confirming she got inside. I immediately went and stuck my ears on the walls. “Brian….are you okay?”

He just tilted his head and then noticed that the sun was already setting.

“What!? It’s gotten this late already!?” I was shocked. How long was I in a daze for me to lose track of time?

“You’ve been silent and idle for a long time as if you are looking at empty space for hours. You can tell me if something’s bothering you.”

Can he read my mind? Is that his ability? The fact that he did not say anything else, I can assume that he wants me to tell him if there is anything wrong, right?

“Really, it's nothing. I was just lost in thought.” I said, trying to convince him.

“If that’s what you say, then I guess I can’t force you.” He said as he wiped his body with the towel.

Without anything much to do, I followed behind mister Jakob as usual. Though I was uncertain, I vividly heard him say something as if he saw right through me.

“Your worries. I can feel them. Don’t worry, soon it will all be over.” He said as the wind blew away his voice.

At that moment, I felt a chill run down my spine. And at the same time, as if he felt what I felt, he turned back to me. When I saw it, hidden under the blindfold, I could see the outline of his eyes, seemingly glowing a faint shade of black intensified by the white cloth wrapped around his head.

I was put to a halt. My body refuses to move a single muscle out of fear as I feel cold sweat sliding down my cheeks. The image I initially thought of our guest crumbled. Right now, my senses are telling me that there is more to him than I am unaware of.

That night, I could not bring myself to sleep. Hearing those words made me think that he shares the same unsettling feelings I have in the current situation. That alone leaves me in confusion. Is he really aware of my worries?

“It’s not long since he stayed here and he is able to realize something is off? Is that possible?” I asked myself out loud.

There was no one inside the room who’d be disturbed by my voice, so I could think out loud. But that would also risk leaking my thoughts to anyone who happens to pass by the room.

Conflicted by everything, I failed to realize that someone opened the door until the last moment.

“Brian?” A soft voice called out to me.

In an instant, I recognized the owner of the voice. Elicia. One of the attendants of the estate, and the favorite of our master’s daughter.

Seeing her walk inside the room in the middle of the night raises a lot of worries for all the right reasons.

“Elicia….this is the men’s room. What are you doing here in the middle of the night?” I asked, trying not to sound nervous.

Instead of answering me, she walked up towards me and sat on my bed. Her sweet scent immediately tickled my nose. Her entire body screams freshness. Perhaps she just got out of the bathroom?

While flustered of the situation, she turned to me with her cheeks completely flushed and a seductive look on her face.

“I came here because I’m worried about you. You were out of it earlier during dinner, so I was curious if something is bothering you.” She told me while slowly moving towards me again.

I could not even utter a single word. It’s my first time seeing her approach me boldly, our interactions in the past only consist of small talks so this is an entirely uncharted territory for me.

Seeing that I can’t compose myself, I saw the corner of her mouth rise, making her look even more seductive than before.

“Brian. Is this your first time being alone with a girl like this?” She asked with such a seductive tone.

I immediately turned my gaze away from her out of embarrassment. And when I did, she leaned forward and grabbed my head and forced me to look in her direction.

The smile on her face and her flushed cheeks made my heart flutter. It was the first time someone looked at me that way. Before I completely succumbed to her advances, I tried clearing my mind only to be met with a sight that I can only see in my dreams.

I saw a glimpse of her breasts while she leaned towards me. I felt my body froze for some reason. But it’s thanks to that I was able to keep her from advancing further. I gathered my courage and held her back.

“What in the world are you trying to do, Elicia? I don’t remember you acting like this.” I told her.

I was forced to swallow my spit. What she said is not wrong. She hit all the marks, but still. I cannot just let my desires run rampant because of that. I have to steel myself and resist.

Seeing how I try to hold myself back. Elicia started touching my legs and slowly moved her hand towards my crotch. I grabbed her hand before she could pin it into the wall next to my bed.

“Wow- you are holding out quite well. Men are supposed to be the most active in this type of situation. So why are you holding yourself back-”

“Stop this. I’m getting more and more convinced with your persistence despite my clear rejection. Elicia, you’re looking down on me, aren’t you?”
