I look around the room and notice 3 other people. Brings the total number of people in the part to 4. I look at them more closely and look at their equipment. A new window pops up.

I didn't think it would be this easy to gain skills like this.

Suddenly one of the people start talking. He introduces himself and his name is Lee. From the tone of his voice you could tell he tried his best to act kind.

"Hello everyone, I'm Lee. As you have seen from the window, this is a group mission. I feel like it would be best if we could all introduce yourself, and say what your good at so we can assign positions."

Then another person starts speaking and introduces himself and the weapon that he uses.

"Hello I'm Kai, I'm from America. The weapon I choose was the sword."

Another person speaks after that.

"I'm Jose and I use the Bow"

I decide I'm going to just tell them my name and weapon. Not give to much information about me.

"I'm Kim Yeon and I use the scythe."

Immediately afterwards Lee starts to talk again and tells us we need to get ready to complete the floor. A window pops up.

「Floor 2 Challenge Starting

Defeat the first wave」

Then 10 goblins get summoned from around us in the cave. They waste no time and start rushing us. I yell out and say in going to take the 2 in front of me.

They were just like the goblin on the first floor. Weak. I killed the two instantly and kill another one to the side. I look behind me and my teammates are struggling with their goblins.

I didn't care about them though. If they can't handle 2 measly goblins I wonder how they passed the 1st floor. I go over the goblin corpse and hope that I can obtain stats from them. I can from all 3.

My body feels lighter and I don't feel fatigue anymore. I feel great. I look over my teammate beside me and help him with his remaining goblin. I absorb this one to.

I try to absorb the one that my teammate killed but no dark soul appears. A shame. I guess if I want anything I need to do it by myself. My teammates were weak anyways.

Me and Lee the teammate beside me head back to the middle. Everyone survived the first wave. Although Jose got stabbed by the goblin. Nothing seems to be wrong with him.

「A new window appears.

Next Wave in 5:00」

We all watch as the timer goes down by every second. We start talking about the plan we should do next. Me, Kai, and Lee will be upfront since we use combat. Jose is in the back with support with the bow. We back up in a corner as the clock hits one minute.

Thankfully I'm upfront and can kill more goblins for stats. The clock hits zero and a big boom occurs with a dust cloud. A monster none of us have seen before. It was over 8ft tall and huge. Being greedy for stats I quickly call out and say I'll take care of the big one.

I rush over to the monster as he swings at me with his fists. Thanks to my agility I was able to dodge it. I keep running towards him as he strikes again. This one was not dodge able by me. I got hit. Hard. I get flung across the cave and some goblins cushion my fall. I kill the quickly in the need for more stats.

I can feel the fatigue lessening and I feel stronger. I still don't think I can face the monster yet I need more stats. I yell out to Jose to help.

"Jose help me with the big monster!"

He gives me a quick nod and shouts back towards me.

"Okay!"

I rush back towards him ready for the attack he has for me. I rush at him and slide under his fist and hit his legs with my scythe, it was shallow. I could feel the dread as I sliced knowing I did no damage. Jose covers me with an arrow and I escape. Thankfully Kai and Lee are done with the goblins and we can focus on the big one.

I shout out to them to help and they come rushing over towards me.

"You guys need to distract him while I sneak behind him"

Kai and Lee both respond with an okay and start distracting the monster.

I hurriedly sneak behind him trying not to be noticed by him. Kai is able to hit the monster and deal damage. A perfect distraction for me to deliver the final blow. I jump up and slice him in the back dealing enough damage for him to fall to the ground.

I jump onto him and swing my scythe upwards, then swinging it down with all my might right into his head. The blood splatters as you can hear him make sounds unintelligible. We cleared the second floor. A window Pops up.

A door opens for each of us to head back to our rooms. I wait for everyone else to leave first to absorb the soul of the big monster awaiting what stats I would get from it. I walk over the to the corpse. Pick up the soul.
