I woke up exited. Today was the day. The coliseum is opening. Knowing the coliseum will favor the stronger players I'll gain easy skills. I've even heard rumors of their being a tournament happening. I can finally see how strong the other players are.

If my plan goes well I will be able to obtain better mana skills. Suddenly, a masterful plan comes to my mind. The Tip Board I completely forgot about it. With another fake tip coming to mind, my mood is even happier.

I am happy to announce that the Coliseum is finally open. With the Coliseum opening we need to tell everyone the rules.

1. There are none

Betting, usage of items, unorganized combat, killing, etc.

Although people are aloud to come forward and enforce rules through strength. If you can force people to follow rules by all means go ahead.

Another announcement is Floor 15 .

Floor 15 will make enforcing rules easier as it helps with creating large groups. Along with other features as well.

I still have my old armor from the tutorial which should work.

Walking outside my house I notice it being darker than usual. Looking up towards the 'sky' seeing cloud cover the Sun. Heading over the the coliseum there is a huge line just to get inside. Although, the line just looks more like a clump of people. I head towards the back of the clump.

"Is this the line to get inside?"

"I don't even know bro, people just started standing here."

"And you were dumb enough to stand here with them?"

"Gue-"

I already know the corny joke he is going to say and abandoned him. Hearing him continue talking while I wasn't there explains why he's in the clump.

'Shadow Invisibility'

Why would a person such as I wait in the line? I head inside and my eyes glow. Seeing all of these people to fight was a heaven for me. Scamming every last one of them is going to be wonderful. Canceling my skill when I get out of sight. Looking at the system for the coliseum, I get disappointed. It's not that the system idea is bad, it's not what I wanted.

The system works by a unique bulletin board. You list what skill, item, or stat you are willing put at risk. This qualifies you to participate in the coliseum. One qualified you can view a menu full of other challengers and what they offer. Choosing what person you wish to fight will send a challenge. Of course the other person can decline the challenge if they wish.

Disappointed I try to find a way to make it fun. The perfect idea reaches my brain. Why don't I limit myself by using ass equipment. Feeling confident about the idea I start . The system askes me what skill I will put up for offer. It gives you a drop down menu like a modern website.

"Heat Sensing"

Once I put in the skill, it brought me to the roster. Finding a skill of the same worth of 'Heat Sensing' was hard. Most of the skills offered were basic swordsmanship. Finding the holy grail is what saved me. Near the end of the roster when I almost gave up I found it. The skill 'Flash Step' something that wasn't swordsmanship. Immediately, I give them a challenge. Lucky for me they accepted.

Being teleported always messes with my insides. Thankfully, I can see the same expression on the opponent. I can hear him shout from the other side of the coliseum.

"Can you give me a minute to adjust!"

"Of course! It's the same with me!"

I feel like it's cheating but I use this to study my opponent. He has a muscular build. Most likely a close combat fighter. An inch or two shorter than I. Besides those features nothing is is shining about him.

Adjusting my self and stretching took 5 minutes before we started.

Without a moments notice my opponent rushes towards me. Hearing him chant the name of a skill but couldn't hear him. By looking at his eyes I can tell we both are going to have fun. Taking out a dagger from my waist I throw it at his leg. Obviously, he blocks it with his sword and continues his rush. Noticing the sky is still dark the match is in my favor.

"Shadow Invisibility"

Seeing his expressing change to something more serious made me more happy. Finally able to spar with someone near my level. Making the match fair for him I disable the skill a second before attacking. Within a couple of hits I see his stance worsen. His stamina is running out and I take the chance. Throwing my weapons away I bring my hands out.

"Future Sight"

With the skill activated my plan goes into action. Rushing right up to him in the blink of an eye. I purposely miss my attack to boost his confidence. The plan worked. His smiles comes back on his face. His sword ready to swing right into the stomach. Before he even begins the motion. His smile fades and his weapons drops. He notices my hand ready to catch his sword in the place he was going to swing. Seeing his confidence drop made me feel better. Watching other people having the worst time of their life was the best for mine.

Now what skill would the combine with? Honestly, there isn't any skill with compatibility. Needing more skills I head back to the coliseum. Putting up the same skill 'Heat Sensing' I need a bite. Scrolling through the roster there was still only swordsmanship skills. Nothing actually worth fighting for.

Heading back home disappointed that I only gained one skill. I want skills but everyone here's ass. Assuming that dude was on the leader board he was weak. Probably on the 7th Floor. The Shop is my only friend now.

I can't argue that it wasn't worth the price. Honestly it's worth more than what it goes for. The question is should I combine the skills or should I keep them. Flash Step is good for evasive maneuvers. While, Heavenly Moonlight Footwork is more of a movement skill overtime. I shouldn't combine them. Flash step is OP with it being instant.

As I lie down on my bed thinking over the day. My only wish for tomorrow is better skills offered at the coliseum.
