Jeriah looked up from his newly aquired weapons just in time to see the teacher, whom he silently decided to start referring to as "loli sensei" beginning the class again. She spoke in the monotone yet childish voice she had used before.
"If there is one thing I want all of you to remeber from my class, It's that appearances are decieving, I myself am a weapon master and currently am better with more than 300 different types and variations of weaponry than any of you will be in your entire lives. So train hard if you want to be strong, I can help you, but I can't make you work to achieve your goals." she looked around at all the students as she was saying this, unaware of Jeriahs anger at her arrogance, afterall, he would be stronger than she could dream of being, he knew it to be true. As her eyes landed on Jeriah she easily spotted him glaring at her. She saw such a thing as him questioning her level of skill and decided to make a good example of him to the class. In her hands briefly glowed before the aforementioned glow left her hands, leaving behind a pair of axes, one war axe for each hand, similar to Jeriahs. She hefted one at Jeriah, pointing it directly at him. She didn't usually brutally go all out on a new student and send him to the infirmary, but she decided to make him an exception.
Jeriah was surprised when loli sensei seemingly wanted to fight him, but who was he to look a gift horse in the mouth, he planned to make her see the error of her ways, arrogance was for the foolish, but he was not foolish, and therefore not arrogant, no he was the best there would ever be, he wouldn't be capable of such things. He shook his head with a small smile on his face as he walked onto one of the sparring fields in the larger field.
They stood opposite each other, looking each other in the eyes, both pairs of eyes turned to watch a pedal fall of a nearby cherry blossom tree. The moment it hit the ground they both took off, racing towards this new challenger in an effort to bash them into submission all the faster. Thier axes slammed into each other in an exchange most students couldn't follow with their low stats. The teacher took a few steps away from Jeriah, genuine suprise in her formerly expressionless face.

"How do you have such high stats, aren't you a first year?"
"I may be a first year, but I'm far from naive or weak. Arrogance like yours disgusts me, how can you be that arrogant when in my presence, only I am capable of being the strongest. Be sure to remeber your place scum, beneath me."
"Oh while I'm terribly aware of my place, what I have isn't arrogance, it's confidence in my well honed abilities. How about I show you instead of explaining." she finished, with sarcasm and confidence heavily dripping from the entire sentence.
Jeriah just grunted having grown tired of her and her words, they both charged again. This time she was slightly faster than he was and reached him first as their axes reunited with each other, Jeriah smirked, it didn't matter if loli sensei was faster he was simply too strong, or at least that was what he was thinking until he felt something collide with his stomach and ribs, hard. Jeriah was sent tumbling through the field at a speed most horses ran at. He stopped himself soon enough and looked up to see that loli sensei had kicked him, it seems as if he had more to learn, his eyes narrowed as he raised the level of danger she represented. He charged at her again and swiped at her with unpracticed swings not reinforced by technique, she merely sidestepped him and sliced open his back. Jeriah growled at the dastardly loli sensei, how dare she damage greatness. A look of anger made itself prominent on Jeriahs face, as his anger kept to new bounds, unintentionally making him even more powerful than he already was.
Jeriah began swiping more recklessly, but with increased speed. This however did not escape the eyes of loli sensei, and she matched his speed and power for each blow, eventually disarming him with technique and skill she had gained over the years and eventually knocked him unconcious, though not without ruining his newest school uniform. His final conscious thought was about hubris, and how it led him here. He would learn from this.
She had to admit, this kid was pretty good, but not enough, he was likely two hundred years younger than her, she had vast experience backing her. He would be strong one day if he got over his arrogance. If he was half as smart as he probably thought he was he would learn from this and become stronger for it. She would enjoy teaching him, probably anyway.
