Schemers scheming

Far away from the forest towards the east, a large town surrounded by 15 meter tall walls can be seen. It was night time already so the only ones still walking around were guard patrols, drunkards, and thugs waiting for a victim to take advantage of. In a dark secluded alley, 3 cloaked figures walked confidently. It may have looked like they were lost, but they were making sure to lose any followers that may have thought of trailing them. They walked up to a metal door that had a metal covered slit, giving two hard knocks made the slit slide open.

"Whats the code?" said a hoarse voice, looking at the cloaked men.

"Lovely birds flying and singing a beautiful tune on a pile of bones" said a voice filled with annoyance.

The metal door started clanking until it opened wide to let the men come in, closing it behind them a big burly tattooed man talked to them.

"The headmaster is in his office waiting for you my lord"

Nodding and walking through the hallways they came upon a finely carved wooden doorway. Knocking and hearing a strong voice on the other side, telling them to come in. Inside a dark wooden desk centered in the back filled with documents, trinkets, etc. Behind it sat a man wearing all black in his mid 30s, having long inky black hair that curled. The man looked up and smiled wearily, closing a thick ledger and putting it aside. He signaled for the lead man to take a seat.

"So mind telling me why you asked for me to come personally here, Darvin?" said the man who sat down and removing his hood, revealing a handsome 30 year old man, with short wavy brown Chestnut hair and green eyes.

"The assasins failed their mission, unfortunately that bastard son of King Varne still lives on.", Darvin said immediately, cutting straight to business.

"WHAT!?!?! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? HE IS ONLY A BRONZE RANK TRASH!" The man's face turning red and contorted. Not showing any of the calm features he had earlier.

"The magic life trackers we have on all our men, went dark the day before. Last thing we know is that the two assasins had left for the endless forest from this town. I already have a solution ready Conner, so no need to lose your patience in my office."

"THATS BECAUSE YOUR HEAD ISNT ON THE LINE HERE! THE SECOND PRINCE HAS ASKED ME TO OFFER THE BRATS HEAD IF NOT, IT WOULD BE MINE! DONT SPEAK MY NAME SO CASUALLY! YOU ARE JUST A TOOL, SO DO YOUR JOB RIGHT!" Conner calmed down and sat down thinking, as the feudal lord of this town and the surrounding territories. He thought of sending a small army to find the brat. He turned to Darvin who stared at him in silence and spoke.

"So what's this grand solution, that you are so confident in. If it doesn't please me, your head will roll right now."

Darvin's forehead started sweating, even though he was a branch headmaster for the black souls assasin organization. He was just a silver rank, since the town his branch was at was only a small frontier town, and the Viscount of this town was a Gold rank. "Let them in!" He yelled.

A group of 5 slender and well prepared assasins came in, all not making a single sound on the wooden floor as they walked behind Darvin. Conner noticed this and opened his eyes a little as he observed the people.

"Five silver ranked assasins, didn't know your small branch had this many at hand."

"I had to call in a few favors from a nearby branch, but Five silver ranks. More than enough to handle a single bronze rank runt." Darvin said confidently. "Of course the price will be cut in half and I'm willing to pay out of my own pocket to make up for the trouble."

"No need I'll pay for their services, since you finally used that head of yours. Just make sure to finish it by tomorrow." Conner said this while exuding a little bit of pressure on Darvin.

Having finished the meeting, Conner left to leave back to the castle manor in the middle of town. Darvin ordered the five assasins to start immediately, five shadowy blurs disappeared, heading towards the forest at speeds faster than a horse.

Just like that Sam had a target put on him, the night passed and morning made itself known.

In a water stream not that far from the dungeon entrance. A youth with a slender build was bathing, in the surroundings hiding, were ten hanzos. Looking down at the reflection of the water, Sam finally saw what this body looked liked. White smooth skin, Raven hair with Dark red highlights, deep blue chilling eyes as if they were sculpted out of blue sapphires. Strong sharp jawline, and looks that could kill.

"Damn idk what these people are talking about, these looks back on earth would make you an instant winner in life."

Too bad his body hardly had any muscle since he was technically a 16 year old. He figured now that he had time he would start a steady and extreme full body workout regiment. He made it back to the camp with his escorts, a large wooden log palisade that covered about the size of a football stadium. Large log gates opened up for him, and he saw mechs working in tandem to make a wooden log house for him to live in for the time. He noticed the 2nd group of damaged mechs coming out of the dungeon entrance, once he figured out that the dungeon respawns every 3 hours, including the boss room. He started to send a company of 100 mechs to clear the 1st and 2nd floor. Fifty hanzos, forty androids, and 10 medic mechs. Once he had a full Company of Hanzos he would head into the 3rd floor, to start farming tier 2 core shards.

[315000 EXP]

[456 TIER 1 CORE SHARDS]

Summoning another 200 hanzos he ordered them to help out in watching the camp and building it. Thinking about improving the camp he looked at the system menu and opened up the weapons/Armor tab. He looked at the options.

[Description: Mark 2 smoke grenade. Able to create a thick smoke screen. Cost: 600 exp]

[Description: Mark 2 carbine fiber armor set. Light and durable to withstand attacks below Mark 3. Cost: 600 exp]

[Description: Mark 2 1911 9mm Handgun. Easy to carry, with a 15 round magazine. Cost: 600 exp]

He unlocked all three options. Several androids helped him put on the armor and tighten the straps. Chest plate, shin guards, bracers and helmet that resembled a spartan helmet with a clear visor. He held the gun, noticing that he couldn't take out the clip. He thought to himself and fired 2 shots into the air. Then a prompt let him know that he can use exp to refill the ammo.

"Well now I don't have to reload my gun manually, just like any old action Shooter movie."

He felt satisfied with his choices, once he finished a full day's worth of diving, he can start working on the vehicles tab. Thinking ahead for the future, he noticed a Hanzo running up to him and stopping to salute.

"Machine monarch we have spotted a group of five cloaked humans approaching at our location, all silver rank. They will be here within ten minutes."

Contemplating if this is another batch of assasins sent by his enemies, or just a group from the adventures guild. The fact that they are cloaked and heading straight for him tells him that they are most likely after yours truly.

"All hanzos follow me, we're going hunting."
