Once the blinding bright light died down, I was once again, surrounded by darkness.
This is a different kind of darkness though. It's, how should I say this? It's like I'm being swaddled by a damp comfy warm blanket. It's actually not too bad. I could see how a baby could stay in here for nine months.
Woah! What was that? Am I moving?
The 'blanket' around me starts to constrict and conveyer me along.
Wow! I'm already ready to be born? That was fast. I didn't really get to enjoy the comfy 'blanket'.
Moving along the line my head starts to feel a little breezy, followed by the rest of my body.
I hear voices but I can't open my eyes. By the sounds of it, there's two females and one male. I should probably cry right? Just to let them know I'm okay.
"Wahhh! Waaahh! Waahh!"
That's pretty embarrassing but whatever. I'm a baby now so I can get away with it.
Seems like they're wiping me off with a warm damp towel. Feels pretty nice to be treated like a baby.

It's been a few days since I was born. I still can't understand a single thing anybody is talking about. But someone does sing to me while cradling me, so I can only assume it's my mother. Either that or father has a feminine voice...
Hahmm, anyway, in terms of mobility the most I can manage right now is flailing my arms around and kicking with my legs. Being a baby isn't all that bad, but I do feel guilty whenever I need to be changed after soiling myself. I'll be sure to repay the favor someday...A new form of supplement would also be nice. Not that there's anything wrong with mothers milk, but eating, or should I say drinking, the same thing everyday gets kind of boring.

It's been a few weeks since I've came to this world now.
I am now able to keep my eyes open for a good amount of time. I could still only flail around but that's to be expected although irritating.
I am also happy to say that I belong to a loving family of four including myself. My mother always looks over me with her sapphire ivory glass eyes with blood red shoulder length hair and exotic tanned skin. My sister is the same except she has her hair extending all the way to her hips. If i had to say, then my mother and sister are beauties. My father on the other hand, is a little scary. He has the same hair and skin as mother and sister, but there is one distinctive feature which makes the world of difference, his eyes.
His pupils are crimson red and they give off a glow, while the rest of the eye is abysmally black. Do I also have those eyes? God I hope that it's normal in this world or I'm going to have a hard time. My mother doesn't seem to mind by the looks of it, so I'm going to take it as being normal.
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
I still can't really understand the language either. I've been able to pick a few things up but for now even forming broken sentences will be difficult to do, not that I could speak yet anyway.

A few months have passed by now. Months of constant studying have allowed me to form coherent sentences. Not out loud of course, but I'm sure that speaking won't be a problem once I'm able to speak properly.
I've also discovered that I have the same eyes as my father! Whose name happens to be Epimir. My mother Enni keeps telling me that I have my fathers eyes...it's cool I guess. Well, if it wasn't for the fact that we're a family of demons. That's right, seems like our hair, skin and eyes belong to that of a tribe known as the Blood Demons.
From what I've heard so far, there are only a handful of Blood Demons and we specialize in blood magic. Which I could only guess is the ability to manipulate blood in some way or form. It sounds awesome and I can't wait to see how it works. On that note. I have no idea how to actually use magic.
There's no status screen of any sort here as far as I can tell. Which is a bummer considering it's a staple theme when it comes to reincarnating in another world.
Oh right, turns out I have a tattoo of unknown origin on my back. My parents are of agreement that it's some kind of birthmark. But I know that that's probably the unique magic I received, and it's currently in the form of a tattoo. Probably since I haven't learned how to use magic yet it is currently dormant, and not changing forms everyday like it's supposed to. Thank God for that.
Speaking of God, there are apparently three gods in this world. The God of Destruction Teymir, the God of Creation Syeu and the God of Elements Laau. Luckily, there doesn't seem to be any kind of strife between the different 'believers'. That's due to all the races randomly being born with an innate ability from one of the gods.
We Blood Demons happen to be under the care of the God of Destruction. Funnlily enough, I'm pretty sure the glowing woman I met was the God of Creation. So that means I've received abilities from two gods.
As a bonus, those under Teymir, get a boost in strength, and with me being a demon I get a race boost of increased mana.
It's fortunate that in place of story books, my family likes to discuss history with me, or I'd never be able to know this stuff.

I'm now two years old!
It may look like it went by fast but since I'm used to being active all the time the time spent in my infancy so far has been dragging! Although my sister Ceri usually plays with me when she's not helping out mother with the chores. She is trying to spend her time with the family since she will be leaving soon. She's 12 now and there's a tradition in the tribe that once you reach the age of 15 then you must go out and make a living yourself. Once you have reached 200 years old then you are free to come back to settle down. We are a long lived species, usually with an average of 500-700 years.
Now that I'm able to walk I've spent most of the day exploring around the house. It's a decent sized three bedroom house. I've also received my own bedroom as soon as I turned two.
Now that I'm old enough to walk around I've been following my father around to do some light hunting, farming and basic maintenance around the land.
I got to say, having a boost in strength is amazing! Even at 50 years old in my old life, lifting a boulder about the size of a wagon would be impossible. Now, I can lift it with a good ol' bend of the knees, and I'm only two years old!
I never noticed it before, but father is a monster. I know he's a demon but his strength is monstrous! That boulder I referred to earlier was completely obliterated with a simple squeeze of his hand. That reminds me, he's apparently the village head. I hope I don't have to take up the profession. I'm fine with being part of the militia though.
On an important note. Blood Demons need to go through some kind of right of passage once they turn five in order to properly use magic. So I'm going to be looking forward to that.
"Dijmir let's go hunting!"
Oh, fathers calling.
"On my way!"
