Everything stood still as if the entire world held its breath. Ryan and his cronies laughed as Sarah cried out for Cel while struggling against their male captors, but Cindy felt it. Xaradel, Arcadian, and Arielle felt it too though they remained out of sight-bearing witness to what the trio knew was coming next. Cindy didn’t figure out why things had progressed the way they have, but she was warned in a dream by her patron goddess Brigid that something would happen at the eleventh hour of All Hallow’s Eve which decided all of Earth’s fate.
“Get behind me,” Xaradel ordered both Arcadian and Arielle. “The die has been cast.”
They both did as ordered and got behind Xaradel.
Neither Cindy or Sarah could have such a chance-much to the pity of the Vil’thrum who understood both girls’ plight-against the event soon to ensue, but the meathead jocks who killed Cel kept laughing as they relished their murderous plot. Ryan especially enjoyed it too as he spoke with a wicked cheshire grin towards the two ladies.
“The faggot is dead. Don’t worry ladies, my boys and I will help re-educate you…”
“Go fuck yourself, cocksucker!” Sarah seethed in his direction.
“Such a foul mouth you have, bitch. Maybe you are a glutton for punishment?” Ryan asked in a disgustingly repulsive manner towards Sarah-drawing the attention of his cronies though the two who were unsure of continuing this charade soon turned pale as bone.
They were twin brothers who had a rumor about some kind of sixth sense they shared between themselves. Their names were Ethan and Ryder Smith. After hearing the way Ryan described “re-educating” both girls, they shivered a little and turned to face away from the trio which a few minutes ago they wanted to get away before Cel’s blood stained their hands too. The twins looked back and understood that once they signed up for this fatal mistreatment of Cel Davron-the rumored cheating ex of Desmond-it was far too late to back out.
It cemented even further beyond repair when they turned back to look at Cel’s body and sense that the entire world held its breath. They both knew instinctively something was going on at that point a moment before the event occurred.
There was a barely audible whisper heard and it sounded like thunderous trumpets across the small silence that remained disturbed by Ryan’s threats and Sarah’s seething anger. Only Ethan, Ryder, Xaradel, Arcadian, Arielle, and Cindy heard the whispered words which caused an intensified feeling of dread to surge-chills running down the spines of mortals.
“Revenant Cascade!”
Then screams erupted from Ryan, his cronies, and the twins as a powerful surge of Elder Energy twisted itself around the center of Cel’s body-sending out thick corrupted black strands towards the five men’s hearts like spears which knew their targets intimately. Sarah and Cindy were left untouched by the strands though they couldn’t move or look away-not that they didn’t want to-since Cel’s murderers were deemed guilty of premeditated murder one which is a violation of the Accords by itself. Even their souls were pierced by the spell’s power which elicited the most painful screams they could ever produce-tearing open their own vocal chords in the process. Slowly, they felt their bodies corrode as if discarded into acid designed to break down cells down to the subatomic level-far worse than any nuclear bomb-as they were slowly turned around to face the person who attacked them.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
They saw me wearing the shattered remnants of Cel’s body though despite the damage caused to his limbs, I managed to pull it off quite well-even if this vessel will be destroyed by the spell’s power. From the memories I carefully extracted from Cel’s diminishing soul construct, I learned a lot about their transgressions and their intentions. I even saw three of their sigils glow pure black as a starless night which I remembered to be a major violator of the Accords. The last two were between crimson and cyan in nature which meant to me that they had attempted to change their minds before things got serious though not quickly enough.
Clearly, I intended to destroy the three offenders first before things got messy and leave the remaining two for judgement. I turned my-Cel’s-head to the three and spoke clearly towards them-splitting them away from the other two.
“Ryan Johnson, David Reynolds, and Clarence Coulson, you are charged and found guilty of premediated first degree murder of an Elder Vessel, multiple counts of harassment and anti-LGBTQ hate crimes. For that, I sentence you three to complete destruction-true death.” I sternly said in a matter-of-fact tone.
I snapped my-Cel’s-fingers and let them watch as the three murderers got their comeuppance by seeing them be completely destroyed down to the atomic level. None of them saw their souls explode into nothing though I supposed they might have imagined a star going supernova to achieve a similar image. Feeling Cel’s body nearing the edge of usability, I turned to the last two-the twins-and proceeded to give them a chance to avoid a dark fate.
“Well then, you two are the last ones. Seeing how you both decided to try leaving this little arrogant fuckery before shit hit the fan, I’ll give you a chance to avoid complete destruction. Unwilling participation does have its effects on those charged with high crimes,” I informed them and after giving them a minute to let it sink in, I let them speak.
“We wanted to leave after realizing those three were insane psychos!” Ethan replied. “We tried to leave, but Ryan-the murderous psycho-ordered us to stay put and keep watch on the girls.”
I dug around in Cel’s final memories to recall them both as the ones who looked at Sarah and Cindy with lustful gazes-making me immediately despise that response.
“And if you kept your eyes on them now if I were to let you free?” I asked them.
“No fucking way! I’m not going near them after this!” Ryder responded and his twin agreed in the same fashion.
“Oh I know you won’t,” I replied and then snapped once again.
I didn’t let them live since there could only be so much idiocy I’d tolerate-especially after waking up from my mortal vessel being killed by those idiots. I lifted up the arm like a puppet on strings and sighed. There was little time left in it before the spell ripped it apart.
“Well then Cel Davron, you asked. I’m Saratas and I’m known as the Dragon King.”
