Letters to a child I never knew

25th Letter: unpleasant

To my child,

heaven's above, the body washing level is unbearable. Everything stinks and it's so incredibly boring! I feel like I would just stick to the wall if I threw myself at it.

At least I know a thing or two about washing things so I don't have to depend on that sentence from the book or guess blindly for once. "The pure qi shall cleanse flesh and bone", really? What if I didn't know how to clean and tried getting everything completely clean at once? Or do something dumb like scrub hard at places where the dirt won't go away until I rub myself raw?

I hope they have some kind of trick to help with the goop so you don't have to suffer like this.

For once I am really glad it's raining so much - it works way better than a bucket to wash this away. All my stored up clean qi is used up and I haven't done anything but a rough once over to get the worst, loose impurities off.

Fortunately that means it's back to spinning, for now. I wonder if I can purify enough qi to use it like a washing mill? With me in the middle like a dirty rag.
