Chapter 4: My Unexpected Day (4)

"Ran, are your things ready?" Sunny asked.

Today is the day of my departure. Sunny helped me pack my things and offered to see me off as an apology for not accompanying me to my trip.

"Yep, Ready." I replied, then we got out of my house. My parents are rather busy this week and my siblings already bid me goodluck and farewell yesterday.

This is my very first trip alone, and it gets me excited. And my first pick is London! Isn't it cool?! I long since dreamt of coming over there, though it was my grandparents hometown- we grandchildren never visit, because our friends are here.

"Hey, don't you dare return with a child, huh. Introduce him to me first, I'll judge them for you thoroughly. If they're not deserving, you must dump them, understand?" Sunny grinned while driving.

"Then please take care of whoever they are. Hahaha~ As if I'll let someone seduce me, they surely must suffer first before they have me" I coolly swift my hand towards my chin, it means it is impossible.

"Right, I forgot. You are more masculine than any hunk, how can I worry? Hahaha~" she teased back, that made my blood boil, masculine?! Me?!

"STOP THE CAR! NOW!" I suddenly yelled, that made her pull over and hit the break.

"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM?! WE ALMOST CAUSE AN ACCIDENT!" She yelled back nervously

Masculine, huh. Let's see if I really am comparable to them. Experiment time!

"Really? I'm more masculine than any of them?" I said in my most seducing voice with a smirk.

I slowly approach her and gently touch her chin upward to level mine and slowly close the gap between our faces. Hahaha~ let's see what she’ll do~

"Then you shall tell me who is more hot and masculine between me and your fiance~" my other hand is slowly moving to her neck with a gentle touch

Her face turned red and I can feel that she trembling, her eyes watered with a glint-

EH?! I suddenly felt goosebumps! Ewww!

"Wait- What does that face mean?" I frowned, and retrieve my hand with me, like she was disgusting

"I-I h-hate you... WHAAAAAAAA! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! YOU STUPID HE-GIRL! WHAAA! MAMA!" She burst out crying and punching me- it doesn't hurt though, it was with a sound of *pop pop pop* if you imagine it- or is that even called a punch?

"Hey, what is it?! Why are you crying?" I asked in confusion.

"Didn't you know?! Your personality, your looks, your intelligence and your stature all resembles my dream guy! But you are a woman! And when you acted like that, you made my heart flutter! And for your information you are more masculine and handsome, more hot and sexy, more captivating that even a straight lady like me can flip! To answer your question, of course, you beat my fiance in all aspects! *hah* *hah* hah*" She's out of breath and blushing.

Speechless. I didn't know she thought of me like that... hearing those words, even I can't believe myself. Since I was young, I'm already tall. They said I'm beautiful but I only know that I have a normal face like everyone. I'm not trying to be humble, really. But I'm a girl, though I have never been attracted to any gender, I still know I'm a girl since I’m physically a female.

"Are you serious? Haha I don't know what to say... I... I- Is that a love confession?" I awkwardly asked. But instead of answering, she glared at me and restarted the car.

Thirty minutes later, we arrived at the airport without talking to each other. She hurriedly opened the trunk so that I could get my luggage.

*pouts*

She didn't even hug me goodbye, so cold. That best friend of mine is really naughty, she didn't even spare me.

*sigh*

I entered the airport only to see, I still have to wait an hour for my flight. I'm too early. I sat in the waiting area after I presented my passport visa and plane ticket. When I was planning to get my phone to scan the latest news, I found the Fateful Asterism Fairytale book inside my sling bag.

How come I brought this? Maybe Sunny thought I hadn't finished reading it yet and shoved it here. Instead of scanning my phone, I started reading the book again. I'm still upset about the ending though, but the story is exquisite.

"Flight LN1473 passengers please proceed to the departure area." The intercom repeated.

"Oh shiz, I almost missed my flight." I hurriedly fixed my things and proceeded to the area. My gosh! I got immersed again to reading. Luckily, I got there on time.

Inside the Plane.

Seat no. 59, beside the window. Relaxing... I can see the left wing but more importantly the scenery when we're about to land. I'm excited!

Chapter 14

PRINCE Megastar chases after the kind commoner lady in the public that made the Lady flush. The busy crowd watches what's next to happen, the situation is somewhat bright, gentle and full of romance. When Prince Megastar caught up to her, he romantically held her delicate wrists and pulled her to him.

"P-Prince Megastar, please let go... this is inappropriate." The lady whispered shyly, but the Prince did not listen instead he caressed her cheek gently.

"Not need to be shy, I will let this crowd know you are my--" Prince Megastar did not finished, when a running man yelled

"OUT OF THE WAY! OUT OF THE WAY! SOMEONE'S CARRIAGE IS COMING IN A FLASH!"

Then a dashing carriage was now in sight and going straight to their path, the crowd was now in panic. Prince Megastar immediately pulled the lady out of the way, the Prince jumped inside to save a girl, he heard a girl's voice screaming for help so he did it.

A lady in a noble dress was inside, hiding her face to prepare for the crash, she was crying and trembling in fear. But Prince Megastar pulled her out before the crash. Prince Megastar shielded the lady from the debris with his back and held her with security.

"It's alright, you're now safe." Prince Megastar assured her. When he let go, he saw the face of the lady, he stepped back in shock when he realized who the lady was.

"Lady Tania? Why are you riding a mediocre carriage without a crest?" There is a hint of worry but at the same time, annoyance in his tone of voice. He thought she's just seeking attention from him again and purposely causing this trouble.

Lady Tania Roa Cavelier is his fiancee, arranged by the royal family. This is the second time they saw each other in a while, and at first sight every time they met his hate grew stronger for the lady. But the Lady is different, in her eyes, the guy in front of her is her savior and love of her life.

"Thank you. May I know your name?" Lady Tania humbly asked with her notepad, she acted shy. But that doesn't change the view of her in the Prince's eyes.

"No need for that, my lady. You will know soon, please let me call you a fine carriage for your way home" the Prince nonchalantly said. And excused himself.

Prince Megastar knows who and what kind of lady Lady Tania is. Listening to his friend's rant for his sister all day sure marked an impression for the Lady. Sir Keaton Cavelier is his friend after all, and always complains about her sister's awful personality. It is unlucky for him to be with Lady Tania in the future. Given that unpleasant personality of hers.

"Bastard! This fucking Prince is really annoying! He is biased and judgemental~ grrr~ It is he who was a disgusting playboy!" I complained and realize my seatmate giggles at me

"Ahh… I'm sorry~" I awkwardly smiled and focused on reading

Ten minutes later the plane shook and interrupted me from reading. What's happening? This is the third time--

*CRRRGHH!*

"KYAAA!" Everyone screamed when another one came stronger...

*beep beep beep*

"All passengers please fasten up your seatbelts, we're facing a strong turbulence. I repeat, fasten all your seatbelts and stay still on your seat. DO NOT PANIC."

My heart beat faster when all the oxygen masks suddenly fell above us. My eyes wandered and spotted the plane’s wing outside the window... My eyes went wide when the reel was on fire.

I looked at my seatmate, a middle-aged woman was now in panic after she saw the wing. Are we gonna die?! Is the plane crashing?! No! I WON'T ACCEPT THIS! Not yet!

*CRRRGHH!*

Another strong shake of the plane and someone yelled that the other wing was also on fire.

*CREEEEK!*

We're above the ocean... there's no way we live after the crash. I don't wanna die! I don't wanna die! Not yet!

*BOOM!*

The other part of the plane opened and I saw how the other passengers flew out of the plane even though they have their seatbelts intact because of the air pressure. I don't wanna be like them!

I silently cry and pray not to die, I held onto the book and to my oxygen! My heart beats faster and faster every second as we descend like a missile in the ocean. The next moment I knew I saw a light come out of my belly as I held tightly on the book.

"Goodbye and farewell everyone. Mom, Dad, Bruce, Alice, Grandma, Grandpa, Ms. Nancy and Sunny. I love you and I will miss you." I whisper and close my eyes as we wait for the violent impact.

A warm breeze engulfed my body, and then the icy breeze came in. With a mixed feeling, darkness welcomed my consciousness.
