Hanna avoided Brandon for the rest of the day and safely made it home with Kyle where they proceeded to finish the things they started in the room earlier. But after that, and a shower, Hanna reconvened in her brother’s room. Because it was finally time to figure out where the fuck Human Brandon got to.
“Just a minute more,” Kyle said.
She sat down and nervously wiggled her leg and bit her lip.
“Relax, Hanna.”
“But I’m beginning to worry that I was all wrong about Brandon. What if he’s already impregnated someone?”
Kyle’s eyes darkened. “We’ll figure it out when the time comes.”
“I mean. This is kinda a huge moral debate. What comes first? The individual’s bodily autonomy, or the long-term survival of a unique sapient species?”
“Hanna. You’re not the one who has to ask themselves that question.”
Right, Kyle was the one who needed to ask himself these questions. He was a soldier in a federation. And he also had orders. And when to resolve those orders was up to him.
Hanna was merely helping him a little.
Kyle brought up the video. Then he started scrubbing through it. And with each day she looked at her face grew darker and darker.
Hanna had been very wrong about this alien, Brandon. Ever since two weeks earlier, he’d been going to nightclubs, almost every day after school. There, he would pick up a woman and have sex with them there on the fucking dance floor, with everyone watching but not paying attention to them. And sometimes more than one woman a night.
But, at least Hanna could find these instances of public sex. Even Kyle didn’t realize notice alien Brandon fucking these women on the dancefloor or in back alleys until Hanna pointed it out to him.
Every time she pointed to a woman on the screen, Kyle would set his other device into looking for their identity, his face grim.
“I still think that if he did end up impregnating any of these women, they’ll have a half Human-half Lusundai baby.”
“Regardless. I’m going to have to track each of them down and scan them.
Hanna grimaced. “We’ve counted like twenty so far. You seriously need to scan each one of them?”
He nodded. “This is very serious. And because of how long Lusudai sperm can last in the human womb, I need to keep track of them for three months. I need to do that even if they’re using birth control, because you haven’t invented one that is perfectly effective yet.”
She grimaced and felt like hitting him with a newspaper again. Especially since she hadn’t started her period yet.
She calmed herself. There were other things that she could control that were more important right now and it had only been a couple days.
“So, what about the Original Brandon? Where is he?”
“No clue yet.”
He kept scrolling through the images of Brandon.
Hanna grimaced. “He’s like a saint at school and an incubus at night.”
“Have you ever wanted to fuck in a nightclub like this?”
She lightly smacked his shoulder with the back of her hand. “No!”
He chuckled. “Maybe some other time.”
“Focus, Kyle.”
“I am focusing!”
She crossed her arms. “I don’t mean on my breasts.”
Holding up his arms he chuckled. “I’m joking!”

He continued scrubbing the timeline backward.
Hanna found three more women who Brandon fucked before they noticed his schedule changing to that of a man who would go to school, home, the gym, back home, then repeat. Then on the weekends, he would go hiking out in the woods.
“Hold up. Brandon used to go hiking out in the woods every weekend? And when did he start going to clubs instead of the Gym?”
“Looks a while ago he went hiking on a Friday, spent the night camping, then returned Saturday morning. That night he went to the club instead of to the gym.”
“It has to be the prince! Brandon is in those woods somewhere!”
“Possibly dead.”
“But he could be alive too!”
He frowned. Then sighed. “Yes. He could be alive. It’s a possibility.”
“We have to go to those woods.”
“It’s highly unlikely that we’ll find him, Hanna.”
“But if he’s being kept on the prince’s ship just like you’re keeping Kyle?”
He grimaced. “There is a very-very faint possibility of that happening but—”
“Then we’ll check! What’s the harm in checking?”
“I need to kill that Lusundai, Hanna. He’s already started his mission on this world. I had hoped that he would disdain humans for being so primitive, but he apparently found your planet worthy of conquering at least.”
She sighed. “How does checking stop you from killing him?”
“If Brandon is still alive and on that ship, then we’ll need the Lusundai alive. If he dies, then there is no possible way to get onto his ship.”
“Are you sure?”
He grimaced. “Well, there is one way. I would have to bring one of my drones down and use the plasma blasters on it to burn a hole into the ship, but that also has the possibility of killing the original Brandon, anyway.”
She frowned. “Okay. That means we have to think of another way.”
He nodded then brought his glass of water to his lips.
“We’ll have to kidnap Brandon and force him to take us to his ship.”
Kyle choked.
She patted his back. “Are you okay?”
“I can’t believe you just suggested that I kidnap him.”
“We’ll kidnap him.”
“Lusundai are not pushovers, Hanna. They have real combat potential. There is a reason why my race are the only ones the Federation sends to fight them. And, to be frank, I’m good but I don’t know if I’m that good. I’ve never actually gone toe to toe with one.”
She blushed. “I’m not suggesting you fight one. That sounds dangerous and I want you to be safe. What I’m saying is that he seemed pretty susceptible to those drugs from the club that Danni had given him.”
“It is also possible that he was faking it.”
“Then what about drugging him with your secretions?”
“That... could work. As long as he doesn’t see it coming.”
She smiled. “Then it seems like we’ll be going clubbing this Friday, after all.”
“It can’t be Friday.”
“Right, because of my brother.”
“Why not tomorrow?”
“We have school on Friday.”
He raised an eyebrow at her.
She struggled for a moment. “Okay, saving Brandon and the human species is more important... Than. My. Grades, ” she finally managed to get out.
“Then tomorrow it is.” He paused for a moment. “Should I be worried that you’d go so far for this Brandon?”
“Ew, no. I think the reason I want to save him so badly is because the original Hanna really liked him. She would have done anything to be with him. Even put herself in danger. But I don’t like him at all. He’s arrogant, and while he’s good looking, his personality completely ruins any attraction I might have felt towards him.
“No, the reason I want to save him so badly is for the girl whose body I replaced. She’s not here anymore, Kyle. I don’t know what happened to her, but I do know that she’s not coming back. I can feel it. And, to be honest, I feel a bit guilty over taking over her life. I didn’t ask to, but I did. And so, at the very least, I want to save him for the original Hanna Ivy.
“Even though he’s a shitty person.”
He chuckled. “Okay. I get it.” He sighed. “This is just going to be more work for me. Hopefully, he doesn’t sleep with too many more women.”
She shoved her hand into his hair and massaged his scalp. He relaxed into her hand.
“Kyle?”
“Hmm?”
“Thank you.”
“You don’t need to thank me for every little thing.”
“This isn’t a little thing. I know that.”
“Then maybe we could try a little something out on the dance floor.”
She laughed. “I’ll consider it. Fucker.”
“That is what I am suggesting.”

Kyle spent the next few hours going over the information his device collected on the women who the prince slept with. His brows furrowed.
There were too many women. Fortunately, 13 of them were on a shot-type of birth control or had an IUD. While he would still need to keep track of them to make sure they didn’t get pregnant any time within the next three months, he only had to check up on them at a later date.
And as for the 7 women on the pill, while he’d have to check up on them once a month to make sure they didn’t get pregnant within the three-month time frame, he still only had to check up on them.
The hard part was going to be the two women who were not on any form of birth control. They were likely relying on condoms or the morning-after pill.
He couldn’t see the Prince using condoms at all. And while the morning-after pill was often effective, it was still a mere emergency form of birth control and shouldn’t be relied on. Also, in this case, it wouldn’t work. Lusundai sperm lasted too long inside the human body.
But that didn’t guarantee pregnancy either.
Reproduction was a complicated issue even with advanced technology... with the privative technology on this backwater planet, it was hard to say if any of these women would get pregnant, or that their pregnancy would be taken to full term.
According to his research, miscarriages were quite common in humans, it was just that very few people talked about them, so they seemed rare.
But he’d wait until the next day. Even if he was stronger than the people on this world, that didn’t make his need for sleep go away.
And he got to sleep with the best person by his side... As long as her room was still trashed from the Tentacle Apocalypse.
