*Chapter 2: The Quest must continue*
Kagami, still baffled by his sudden change in circumstances, stood in the middle of a fantastical world that seemed like a mash-up of every fantasy setting he had ever read about. The sky above him was a riot of swirling colors, and the air carried the scent of strange, exotic flowers. It was as if he had stepped into a vivid dream. Nothing seemed really yet everything was real, he felt calm and relaxed.
Astaria, the Goddess of Light and Protector of the Multiverse as she called herself, hovered nearby, a mixture of exasperation and determination in her eyes mixed with a little hesitant.
"So, and here I thought I was going to hell... what exactly am I supposed to do now?" Kagami asked, adjusting his unfamiliar attire.
Astaria, still clinging to her divine demeanor, replied, "You must embark on a quest to save this world from the encroaching darkness, Kagami. But of course yours truly will embark on this journey with you so Worry not!"
Kagami scratched his head, the situation slowly sinking in. "A quest? Like, a 'find the magical artifact and defeat the evil sorcerer' kind of quest?"
Astaria nodded with enthusiasm. "Precisely! You are the Chosen One, destined to retrieve the Sacred artifacts and defeat the malevolent forces threatening this world. Mainly the Demon king."
Kagami blinked. "Okay, okay, but first things first. I need to take care of my new friend here. So don't mind me." He patted the dog, who had been sitting patiently throughout the conversation. Watching and waiting.
Astaria, reluctant but recognizing Kagami's attachment to the dog, conceded. "Very well
, Kagami... I mean Mortal. We will find provisions for your journey and ensure your companion is well taken care of..."
And so, Kagami, his trusty canine companion, and the divine but increasingly exasperated and annoying Astaria set off on their quest, Walking in the fantastical world before them. The landscapes they traversed were straight out of fantasy, with towering trees and landscapes, crystal-clear rivers teeming with luminescent fish, and creatures that defied all logic big and small the world was a wonder on it's own.

Throughout their journey, Kagami remained remarkably unfazed by the otherworldly sights and sounds. It was as if his ability to stay grounded in his own world had carried over into this one. Astaria, on the other hand, was growing increasingly exasperated and annoyed by his nonchalant attitude.
"Kagami," she finally said with a hint of exasperation, "this world is in grave danger, and you act as though you're on a leisurely stroll. This is not a school trip, you know?"
Kagami shrugged, his eyes scanning the horizon. "What can I say? I've read enough fantasy novels and played enough video games to know that in the end, everything usually works out. Worrying about stuff you can't control will only end up destroying you. Plus, I've got you, the all-powerful goddess of Shining Light or whatever you were talking about, on my side, right?"
Astaria's cheeks flushed slightly, taken aback by Kagami's vote of confidence. And attitude. "Well, yes, about that-"
Before she could finish her sentence, a rustling in the bushes nearby caught Kagami's attention. He held up a hand, motioning for Astaria to stay quiet. As he approached the source of the sound, his dog followed, its ears perked up in anticipation.
And then, emerging from the underbrush, was a beautiful girl dressed in robes adorned with intricate arcane symbols. She had long, flowing hair the color of midnight and an air of mystique about her. She was sleeping peacefully in the middle of the road, Many, Many beers by her side, and even though she was beautiful she was a mess. completely oblivious to Kagami's approach.
Kagami blinked in a slight surprise. "Hey, is she okay?"
Astaria, hovering beside him, looked equally puzzled. "It's unusual to see someone sleeping in the middle of the road like this."
Kagami scratched his head, torn between if he should be concerned and the oddity of the situation. "Well, I guess we should wake her up and see what's her deal."
But just as Kagami was about to approach the sleeping girl, he hesitated and decided to continue on his journey. He looked back at Astaria. "My guts telling me to not get involved. So Let's not get sidetracked. We have a quest to complete."
Astaria sighed in relief, her divine patience tested once again. "You're right, Kagami. We must stay focused on our mission."
Astaria strangely just accepted kagami decision, And with that, they left the slumbering Probably hangover knight looking girl behind and continued their journey, unaware of the mysteries and adventures that may lay ahead.
