The Atronach was sitting at a clearing next to a clear stream, behind him was a mountain range, in front of him was the stream, and across was a vast forest.
He had just received rewards.
What am I going to choose to do first… hmm the scholar in me says the chapter would be useful.
Chapters.
[Ding!]
[You have ch.1(Unread), would you like to read it?]
Yes.
[Ding!]
[The Universe is vast, with magic being prevalent in this universe there is so much that it is practically infinite. From the beginning of time, there was a birth of a million habitable planets which then gave birth to millions of species, some were monsters and some were intelligent species.]
[After hundreds of years a power structure was formed, after millions of years it was broken and reformed, after billions of years there is only chaos. Four great factions rose then fell with differentiating Epochs. They were the lords of their times, each being the absolute peak of that Epoch. Epochs are something that everything faces, life, death, and then rebirth. The Universe is so powerful that it is the only survivor of the four Epochs, however, the question arises… was there only four previously?]
[Yes… previously. When the Universe reaches its peak it will fall into chaos and start its reversal process, the Universe will literally collapse and reform, only tiny bits and pieces will be left to discover from the future Epoch beings... there are no recorded survivors. The current Epoch is the fifth, it has not yet reached its peak but it isn’t very far away either. However, worry not, an Epoch can last as long as hundreds of billions of years, possibly even close to trillions.]
[Within the fifth Epoch are five institutions which rule over the entire Universe at its current moment, The Scholars, The Huntsmen, The Rulers, The Faithful, and The Demons. Within each of these are countless clans and factions and those rule countless planets across the sea of stars. The Scholars are the inventors of what you currently have, The Evolution System. However, there will only be 100 systems ever created, the process to even make the System was long lost from a previous Epoch, a ruin was found and from there the Scholars went to repair The System]
[In hopes of giving you this System, the Scholar faction only requests one thing of you, explore! Only through serious exploration can we uncover the Unknown, and their final goal is to delay or even stop the Chaos Crash which will lead to the extermination of all life!]
[Ch. 1 is over, you have no remaining chapters.]
The Atronach was stunned by the reveal, this chapter was full of surprise and it gave him countless imaginations. There was too much to think about. It was overwhelming but it gave the same feeling as knowing that death is a part of life, these are facts that can’t be changed only known.

I… I don’t know what to do with this knowledge…
The rock giant sat in the clearing, his hands were relaxed and behind him acting as a support. His body facing the sky. He was the most relaxed he had been since coming alive, there were no more external thoughts, it was just his vision of the blue sky and drifting white clouds. The clouds seem to morph into shapes over time.
Why should I think so hard, I should just enjoy what I have in front of me right now. Knowing fate does not mean that I am capable of changing it, if I someday do have that very capability then that is fate in itself.
This Universe is so very vast, so mysterious, so beautiful. All I have to do is explore… explore and live life.
The birds around The Atronach seemed to not be afraid of his presence and landed nearby, they chirped pleasantly, fish swam with vigor in the stream, the butterflies lived with color in their hearts as well as color on their wings.

Thank you system, I figured that I was terrifying when I crushed a Prime creature by falling on it.
Also, I love the new format.
Instead of the annoying Ding that repeated in the Atronach’s head constantly, the Status screen is now a crystal clear sheet of information that appears in his thoughts. He looked through his status screen and learned a few new things, for example, he is hidden from fate.
He was knowledgeable and knew that those who are hidden by fate could not be scryed or spied on by Seers. Seers were a group of people who can interact with fate which was unique and extremely rare, almost as rare as a rock becoming a living creature. The weave is the river of fate and is extremely mysterious, it is in everything and connects countless creatures, it can build karma with one to another person which increases the likelihood of interacting with them again in some fashion.
This was known by both his previous life as a Fate Weaver and a Monk, these two lives learned of countless mysterious things that the average person did not dare to or couldn’t even with the greatest of talent.
Sage was interesting but it was more common than seeing fate, he knew of a few persons that were capable of being Sages, they were aloof from the world and were truly free.
The rock monster sat there in the clearing with life in full vibrancy around him, he didn’t dare to move in case he scared the small creatures. The Ethereal Flower was located on his lap, even though there was a slight breeze, the thing was heavier than it looked and it simply laid there more like an ornament than a flower.
Only good news for me! Now… I think it’s time to check out my future paths.
