The Atronach reminisced about certain parts of his life. He had spent quite a lot of time thinking about his lives and browsed through his memories of each one often, yet these lives were peak existences who have lived hundreds of years, some thousands, some even more. For example, his elven assassin bloodline which is one of his favorites has lived a couple of thousand years, elves have an extremely long life which is already ten times that of humans.
The weirdest thing though was each of his lives were vastly different, but The Atronach simply summed it up as the difference of time. He still didn’t even know if he should consider each on part of him, whether if there was a bad consequence or not.
His second life which was that of a Shaman dealt a lot with souls and mystical matters along similar lines, and what he noticed was that the soul was split into two sections, the inner and the outer. His most previous life which he still didn’t understand completely as it was just so unique and mysterious, it also had aspects in which it dealt with the soul often.
When he pooled together some pieces from his memories, The Atronach noticed that the outer section of the soul was in-fact similar to that of snakeskin. When a person dies, they shed their skin and the inner-section which makes up a being and is unique only to them will enter into reincarnation.
The Shaman life, as well as a couple of others, had powers to tap into memories with a touch, however, if one wasn’t careful enough and pierced the fragile outer-skin they would hit the inner-section. Souls weren’t damaged, but when the inner section interacted with literally anything other than the outer shell, it would start to dissipate resulting in making crazed people or people who would literally turn into idiots.
When The Atronach looked at the translucent sparkling purple flower in his hand, he felt like he was seeing something pure, something without a snake shell yet perfectly fine. He felt excited, nervous, even a little hesitant refusing to follow his instincts which were blaring loudly inside him.
The flower was magical, that was for sure.
I want to take it, but even with all my previous lives together, I don’t know exactly what it does…
The Atronach was still in the Spider Den, various hissing which was faint could still be heard from time to time.
He decided to walk outside first and contemplate seriously.
The cavern was quite huge, it was the size of a palace maybe even bigger than some. It took twenty minutes with large strides to get to the front from the back. He crushed a few spiders that were attempting to grab the flower, but most of them had a least a few brain cells and scurried away in fear.
When he got to the entrance, it was sloped upwards and he walked along the path quietly, birds could be heard faintly and as he got closer to the big gap he could hear more things as well.
Close to the entrance was a line of trees which instituted the start of the forest, there was a clearing around the cave, probably made by the spiders, and when The Atronach stepped into the forest, life seemed to bloom in all its glory.

Various butterflies, squirrels, a wide crystal clear river, colored birds of all kinds, plants that grew fruit alongside other plants that had interesting shaped leaves, some with thorns, some with not. Everything was beautiful and peaceful.
So very odd for all this to be close to a spider den like that, especially one at Prime rank being involved.
The Atronach knew various power categories and the one the system labeled should be the one that this world uses currently. Prime was considered to be extraordinary, not over the top powerful, but powerful enough for anyone in Prime to transcend the limits of nature.
The Atronach knew it was made of stone, yet it was only considered Peak Mortal at best, Prime monsters should be easily able to crush stone. The three-faced terror spider queen was a peak prime monster, it probably could crush stone, but its power lied in its terrible reproduction rate as well as its magical capabilities to instill illusions as well as just pure fear in the enemies.
So pretty.
The Atronach must have said that a few times now, he walked for quite some time down the river which slowly thinned and became multiple branching streams. Eventually, he reached a clearing, the other side of the stream was dense foliage and dense forest, where-as his side was pretty clear and tame, there was a semi-circular opening facing the stream that was a perfect spot for the Atronach to rest.
Sigh.
The Atronach looked at the flower in his hand, the flower became even more dazzling in the sunlight, it felt as if he was looking at the stars shining in purple glass.
Let’s focus on the rewards and goodies first, then I should think as to what to do with this flower. My instincts tell me to eat it right now, but I feel as if there is a reason as to why I shouldn’t.
