Chapter 15

"Moler, the meeting has not started yet. It's best to hold off on any arguments until all the members have arrived and the meeting is officially underway." A voice suddenly cut Moler rage outburst.

The voice was very calm, deep and resonant, emanating from a man seated in the central chair on the right-hand side of the magnificent table. If one followed the voice, they would see a man, who bore a striking resemblance to Moler.

This man is David Klion, the younger brother of Moler Klion, the leader of the Neutral Faction, one of the strongest in existence, An 11th Ascender, A being with the right to challenge for Supremacy, to challenge a God!

An 11th Ascender could, at any time, Ascend further and become a 12th Ascender, reaching a Semi-Mythical state. However, if they fail to progress to a Fully-Mythical state within a certain time period, they will cease to exist. As 11th Ascenders become Semi-Immortal with a lifespan spanning eons, it is difficult to understand why anyone in such a state would attempt to challenge a God with an almost zero chance of success. This is why, since the beginning of existence, no one has dared to do so.

Moler, upon hearing David's voice, he froze. Having been David's companion for thousands of years, he knew that David was currently on an edge, and that, one small push could trigger a switch that would lead to madness.

After a moment, Moler managed to calm down. He knew he couldn't be the one to push David into madness. He walked over to the chair to the right of David's, intending to take a seat. However, before he could sit down, he felt a deep chill emanating from David, who was sitting next to him.

"Welcome, Theronius.." Moler heard David's voice, and he recognized the tone immediately. As he looked over at David, he could see veins bulging on David's forehead, appearing like wriggling snakes in an open field.

'Shit! A bloody war is about to happen!' Despite his anger at the loss of his son, Moler 's frustration stemmed from missing the opportunity to find someone to help share the burden he had been carrying for so long. He longed for the freedom to explore and adventure once again.

Moler didn't truly care about the lost Demi-Gods from his faction. Having lived for thousands of years and witnessed countless losses, he had become quite numb to them. As a successful businessman, he possessed an extraordinary amount of patience, and despite his anger, he wanted to benefit from this situation as much as possible. With his faction having the upper hand in the meeting, they could even demand an extravagant price from The Divine Assembly Faction, which would be obliged to comply.

Although David also did not care, he had his own set of boundaries. The only difference was that these boundaries were much deeper, and crossing them would mean that there was no turning back.

Yes, there currently are only two Factions in the Titans Alliance, The Divine Assembly Faction and the Neutral Faction!

'A war between the two strongest factions in existence would result in the deaths of trillions, and that is an understated prediction. However, as with any war, there are also benefits.' Despite still feeling the chill emanating from his brother, Moler wore a somewhat creepy smile, but he kept it under control as he began to prepare and summon his Soul Weapon, but suddenly the chill emanating from David suddenly disappeared stunning Moler .

Moler turned his gaze towards the direction from which Theronius had appeared, and saw him kneeling..?

A person began to materialize in front of Theronius, and as soon as the person finished appearing, loud exclamations followed.

The person was a petite girl, in a fully white graceful robe, there was a white band that covered both of her eyes, in the middle of the band was a symbol, an image of an eye with rays of light emanating from it, The eye was surrounded by bizarre looking runes, stars, and swirling patterns, it immediately attracted the attention of the onlookers.

"Lady Seraphine!" exclaimed some members, their eyes were filled with admiration. Even members of the Neutral Faction couldn't help but feel the same admiration in their hearts.

Although the Neutral Faction's members don't wish to be involved with the Churches, it doesn't mean they don't hold admiration for some of the members from the opposing Faction, nor does it mean that they don't have any relations or connections with members from the other Faction. In fact, it's quite the opposite.

At the start of the Titans Alliance there were only 11 Factions, they were the 11 Churches!

Even Moler and David were originally members of the Church of the Starry Sky Faction. However, when Moler's business became absurdly successful, the Church imposed an exorbitant tax on his business, prompting him to look for a way to distance himself from their influence. As a result, he created the Neutral Faction, and of course, David became its first member.

Moler and David were fought fiercely, but with Moler's booming business and the support of his brother, they held their ground splendidly. They even gained support from other Demi-Gods, with some members leaving their original Faction to join the Neutral Faction. This caused the Neutral Faction to boom exponentially, making it the strongest Faction in the Titans Alliance.

Moler's business alone was worth the equivalent of an entire Divine Kingdom, and with the addition of all the new members in the Neutral Faction, it became unstoppable. The growth was so massive that the other Churches felt threatened, forcing them to create the Divine Assembly Faction in an attempt to halt the Neutral Faction's expansion.

Even though there were 11th Ascenders joining the Netural Faction, Moler still held the title of the leader of the Neutral Faction, he created the Faction from scratch and brought it to its greatness with his hard work, how dare you anyone claim they have the right to take away the leader position from him?

Even if the strongest Ascender in the world had joined the Neutral Faction, Moler was confident he would still hold the leadership position. However, after David returned from his long journey as an 11th Ascender, Moler voluntarily stepped down from his role as leader and gave it to David.

As Moler watched Serpahine's appearance, a respectful expression began to appear on his face. Although the Church of the Divine Oracle was the weakest among the many powerful churches, to Moler, who was a businessman, they were like a golden trove of immeasurable value. Sadly, they had very strict rules for providing prophecies, and even though Moler was willing to pay an extravagant amount for their services, they refused him, citing their role as stopping wirkd calamities. Moler couldn't help but think what a waste it was of such talent.

'This is a great opportunity! Perhaps I can use this chance to press the Church of the Divine Oracle to enter into a contract with my Brekset Group!' Moler's eyes glistened with excitement as he yearned for more.

As soon as Seraphine appeared, Aeloria seemed to sense something. She stood up and kneeled down as a sign of respect and reverence.

Moler eyes bulged seeing such a scene, and even David raised his eyes brows.

A golden light started manifesting in the direction where Aeloria was kneeling. The light was so intense that it blinded those who were unprepared for such brightness. As soon as the being finished manifesting, David muttered:

"Auriel, daughter of Solisar."

Every hero present or who appeared followed the same gesture and began kneeling.

"This, what in the fuck is happening?" Moler, couldn't help but mutter in fear.

Heroes, they were the strongest combatants of the Churches, with their bizarre inherent abilities making them very dangerous and tricky to deal with, but even with their absurd ability of being able to directly absorb cores, and even those cores with a Soul trace without the cores first getting processed, the most broken gift the Heroes posses are their Soul weapon, all of the Heroes have the same Soul Weapon, the Infinite Imagination Soul Weapon!

The Infinite Imagination Soul Weapon, it allows a Hero to materialize any weapon they can imagine, as long as they possess the necessary energy.

Despite the Heroes' incredible power, Moler disregarded them. What good was the ability to generate an infinite number of weapons if one did not have mastery over them? He believed that his extensive battle experience would be enough to overpower them, regardless of their ability to maybe generate thousands of inanimate dragons to fight for them or generate any possible weapon they can imagine. While many viewed the Heroes as strong, Moler saw them as nothing more than children with small, sharp knives. However, what truly frightened him was the identity of the figures to whom the Heroes were kneeling.

The Children of the Divines, they were who frightened Moler, they are individuals who possess the purest blood of a Divine. One can attain great power rapidly by consuming the blood of a Divine, but this comes at a price - they become a slave to that particular Divine.

The Children of the Divines were also known as the Apostles of Divinity, as they were capable of serving as vessels for the descent of a Divine being into the world!

Due to their immense value to the Church, the Divine children were a rarity and seldom made public appearances. In their absence, important meetings were typically attended by the Heroes, who acted on behalf of the Church.

The appearance of the Divine children caused fear to spread among all the members present in the Alliance, including those belonging to the Divine Assembly Faction.

With sweat forming on his face, Moler couldn't help but think, 'If a fight breaks out, I can only run away.' Meanwhile, David regained his composure and patiently waited for everyone to take their respective places.

After everyone had taken their place, tension filled the air in the meeting room of the Titans Alliance. Suddenly, a cold voice shattered the silence:

"Shall we commence the meeting, then?"
