Inside a room that was so spacious, with high ceilings and large windows that offered a panoramic view of the city skyline. Elegant paintings and tapestries adorned the walls, and the floor was made of polished marble that gleamed under the light.
The centerpiece of the room was a massive grand table made of dark, polished wood that stretched from end to end. The table was surrounded by high-backed chairs with plush upholstery. Suddenly, powerful-looking people with an otherworldly presence appeared abruptly from the air and calmly took their seats. The seating arrangement wasn't random; it seemed as if everyone who appeared knew exactly which seat belonged to them.
Tension filled the room as everyone waited in silence for the remaining seats to be filled.
Suddenly, a man began to materialize out of thin air. Though he appeared to be ordinary in appearance, his face was twisted into a savage, beastly expression, and his overpowering presence and apparent bloodlust made it clear that he cared nothing for any rules that might be expected in a place like this.
The moment the man finished materializing, he let out a thunderous yell:
"YOU FUCKERS FROM THE CHURCH! HOW DARE YOU TRICK US!" Moler bellowed.
This man was Moler, and he had just appeared in the agreed-upon meeting room of the Titans Alliance! Which was inside the Church of the Radiant Sun!
Church of the Radiant Sun, the most powerful of all the churches devoted to the Goddess Solisar!
There are currently 11 Churches, each with a powerful Divine Kingdom in the world. These churches are: (The order has no connection to the rank or power of the Gods)
1- Solisar, the Solar Empress - Church of the Radiant Sun
2- Noctivus, the Prince of Shadows - Church of the Shadowed Prince
3- Terma, the Oceanic Abyss - Church of the Water Empress
4- Terravox, the Titan of the Earth - Church of the Titan's Dominion
5- Aerathos, the Tempest's Fury - Church of the Stormcaller
6- Fulmenor, the Lord of Lightning - Church of the Thunderer
7- Sylvakos, the Forest Guardian - Church of the Greenwarden
8- Spiritus, the Essence of Being - Church of the Divine Spirit
9- Sonorus, the Maestro of Vibrations - Church of the Harmony Maestro
10- Cosmion, the Celestial Voyager - Church of the Starry Sky
11- Oraculon, the Seer of Fate - Church of the Divine Oracle
"How dare you utter those words here." The voice was cold and calm, and its accompanying presence was mightier and more powerful than even Moler's. It crashed into him like a flood, but Moler didn't seem to be affected in the slightest.
"AELORIA, BITCH OF SOLISAR, SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Moler seethed with anger. He had lost someone very dear to him: his successor, the one he had personally nurtured into becoming a Demi-God. He had lost his firstborn son, all because of a suicide mission that the Churches had forced upon his son. And all he could do was silently watch his son get sacrificed which he regretted very much.

Moler still remembers that cursed day and has nightmares about it to this day. It was the day when Theronius, the Hero of the Church of the Divine Oracle, claimed that the Divine Daughter of the Oraculon had seen a vision of utter despair and destruction: a vision of death and a grand calamity that would cause trillions of deaths and even the downfall of a divine kingdom. Hearing such an absurd vision, all members of the Titans Alliance at the time couldn't help but involuntarily shake. A calamity that could even cause the destruction of a Divine Kingdom? They must fucking prevent it at all costs!

Moler remembers how all the participants at the meeting at that time begged Theronius, hoping that there was a way to prevent such a disaster. To their relief, it seemed that the calamity could be prevented.
"There is a way to prevent such a disaster," Theronius said. "Lady Seraphine herself has been praying and begging all of the gods for intervention. Since there was no way to determine which divine kingdom would fall, none of the gods cared to intervene and none thought it would be their kingdom's fate. But Lady Seraphine still continued praying, and finally the Gods moved!"
"They bestowed upon Lady Seraphine Six Mythical knives, so we can prevent the calamity from happening!" Theronius continued with reverence in his voice.
After hearing the word Mythical, uproar ensued into room with fanatics yelling, GLORY TO THE GODS!
Moler was also moved. Such a treasure is indeed very powerful. It could bring a Demi-God to an end!
A Demi-God possesses an immortal-like body, making them almost indestructible and very hard to kill. Battles at this level can span across days or even months. Even if an 11th Ascender faced a newly 7th Ascended Demi-God, the 11th Ascender would still have a difficult time taking down the new 7th Ascended Demi-God. Even if the 11th Ascender's chance of winning was 100%, it would still be a very challenging fight!
A knife of such level would be very deadly to any Demi-God, but Moler wasn't afraid, would he drop his guard or give any possible opponents such a chance to strike him with such a weapon? no fucking way he will.
After the uproar died down, Theronius continued:
"However, using the knives alone is not enough. Lady Seraphine has received a vision that only a group of skilled individuals can prevent the calamity from happening. The calamity of the Infernith!"
After Theronius finished speaking, the majority of the participants turned deathly pale. A calamity in the Infernith? Was there to be a mission in the Infernith? A suicide mission?!
Moler's chest tightened and he had a bad feeling after Theronius finished speaking.
"In the Infernith, there are six demons on the brink of breaking into becoming a Divine Emperor Monster," Theronius stopped for a moment
"Six heroes, chosen by Lady Seraphine herself, who will forever be remembered as the saviors of our Valtari world against the monsters of the Infernith. They are:" Theronius paused to take a breath.
Fear appeared on some of the sitting participants faces.
"Nymira Emberly, Kaelan Thornhill, Isadora Ravenwood, Caden Klion, Asher Skyler, Lyra Stone. congratulation for being the chosen" Theronius finished.
After hearing his son's name, Caden, Moler became enraged. He had been grooming Caden to be his successor for decades, and the news was a devastating blow to him.
Moler have been painstakingly nurturing Caden so he can finally leave and Ascend into the next rank. The strongest rank in the world, the rank of 11th Ascenders!
Yes, Moler was currently sitting on the 10th Ascend! even though Moler doesn't look that old, but in fact, he is the oldest one in the Titans Alliance!
Even older than the esteemed 11th Ascender, Leader of the Netural Faction, David, his younger brother!
Moler could have ascended to the rank of 11th Ascender before David, but he was burdened with a tremendous responsibility that he could not simply leave behind. Moler possessed vast riches that were comparable to, or perhaps even greater than, some of the Divine Kingdoms.
Moler knew that if he were to leave, even his own brother - whom he had grown up with and spent most of his time with - would succumb to the allure of his vast riches and become weakened. That's why he was so invested in grooming his son to take his place. Moler was willing to do everything in his power to prevent his son from embarking on such a suicide mission - even if it meant fighting for his son's safety.
Moler was confident that David would have his back in this fight, but ultimately it was his own son who betrayed him.
Moler could still remember his son's words clearly, as if they had been spoken just yesterday:
"Father, I know you have been grooming me as your successor, but I'm sorry, I don't want to be known as a coward who runs away," Caden said, looking at the people who were crying with acceptance on their faces. Even though they were Demi-Gods and had witnessed so much, they were still afraid of DEATH.
"Father, I want to go, Father, I will go..!"
As Moler looked at his son, he could see tears forming in his eyes. Moler couldn't help but turn to his brother, David, with a pleading look, silently urging him to do something to help.
David just shook his head in response, indicating that he could have done something but after Caden's declaration, his hands were tied. There was no way he could intervene after such a heroic speech - at least from Caden's perspective. However, from David's perspective, he couldn't help but shake his head and think, 'What a waste.'

"AELORIA, BITCH OF SOLISAR, SHUT THE FUCK UP!"
The atmosphere in the Alliance meeting room grew increasingly tense, as cracks could be heard and bloodlust became visible among the attendees.
"YOU BASTARDS OF THE DIVINE CHURCHES DECLARED THAT THERE WERE ONLY SIX DEMONS AND CHOSE SIX PROMISING YOUNG ASCENDERS FROM OUR NEUTRAL FACTION. WE CONFIRMED THE DEATH OF THE SIX DEMONS AND THE DEATH OF OUR SIX ASCENDERS. SO WHAT THE HELL IS THE MEANING OF THIS SEVENTH DEMON?" Moller shouted in anger.
