LOCATION: IMPERIAL’S MAIN ARMY IN THE PLAIN OF IMORAS
"What is that flare?" Major General Aylsia muttered, eyes fixed on the glowing signal in the sky. It had clearly been fired from the direction of the main camp. Yet, she hadn’t received any notification, and its meaning was mysterious to her.
Her brow furrowed in concern. Flares during an ongoing battle usually signified a serious event. But no matter how hard she searched her memory, she couldn’t figure out what this particular signal meant.
Before she could dwell on it further, a runner approached, panic evident on his face. “Lady Aylsia! Major General Remnell has been killed!”
"What?!"
"The enemy launched a sneak attack at the rear! Many high-ranking officers, including Major General Remnell of the Second Division, were killed in the battle!"
Aylsia clenched her teeth, frustration mounting. Everything had been falling into place. Until now. Just as she was about to issue the order to retreat and regroup, another runner ran up to her.
"Lady Aylsia! The left wing has completely collapsed!"
“How did that happen?!” Aylsia was now beyond disbelief. According to their reports, both sides had nearly equal numbers. Even though the Imperial Corps’ left wing had been struggling, it seemed impossible for them to outright lose.
“Reports indicate that 4,000 cavalry in heavy iron armor have joined the battle! They’ll be upon us any moment!” the runner shouted, desperation in his voice.
The situation was slipping from Aylsia’s grasp faster than she could react. No matter which way she turned the problem in her head, every plan ended in disaster. Her mind raced, but every option seemed doomed to fail.

Finally, with a grim expression, she accepted the defeat.
“Order all the troops to retreat!” Aylsia commanded. “This battle is as good as lost. All forces, retreat!”

LOCATION: 9TH CORP’S LEFT WING IN THE PLAIN OF IMORAS
“Well, that was easy!” Lieutenant Colonel Cameron bellowed with a laugh as he stood next to Brigadier General Lily. “I never expected the Imperials would be this weak!”
Lily sighed inwardly at his remark. If she were in the Imperials' position, she wasn’t sure she could have reacted much faster, given the circumstances.
Cameron had originally been stationed at Fort Kespare with 5,000 troops, but when the battle at the Plain of Imoras was made, it was decided he would lead a force of 4,000 cavalry to reinforce the left wing.
The plan had been simple: Cameron would assist Lily in securing victory at the left wing, then reposition his forces to support Major Aria’s unit of 1,000 in striking the heart of the Imperial main camp. Everything had gone smoothly so far, but Lily wasn’t one to celebrate too early.
“We need to stay focused,” Lily said, her gaze fixed on the battlefield ahead. “We’re not done yet. Let’s make sure Aria gets the support she needs.”
Cameron nodded, still grinning but more serious now. "You got it, Brigadier General Lily."

The Battle of the Plain of Imoras ended in a victory for the 9th Corps of the Shiena Kingdom. The Imperial army, once 50,000 strong, had been reduced to around 15,000, their commanding officer lost in battle. Colonel Aylsia, now the highest-ranking officer remaining, was officially promoted to Major General to take command.
The 9th Corps, though victorious, had suffered heavy losses, with their numbers, including the forces from Fort Kespare, reduced to 24,500. However, despite the inexperienced soldiers in the 9th Corps, they had inflicted significant damage on the Imperials.
Major Arion, who had played several key operations, eliminated high-ranking officers, and even uncovered enemy spies, was formally promoted from Sergeant to Major. After killing Major General Remnell, Arion and her 800 soldiers made a successful retreat. However, during their escape, the MPA 62 armors, having run out of mana, were destroyed, rendered useless in the final moments.
