The crab suddenly experienced an intense pain in its stomach.
“What is this?” it thought, writhing in discomfort.

Some pieces got stuck inside its anus. The crab focused its spiritual energy on those areas.
“I have to get these out,” it decided, using its energy to pull out the crystal shards, one by one. Each piece removed brought a mixture of relief and further pain.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the last of the crystal fragments were out. It covered the bloody mess with sand, burying the evidence of its suffering.
Exhausted and still in significant discomfort, the crab dug a new spot to rest.
“I’ve never encountered such pain before,” it thought, still feeling the pain inside and outside. “I hope I never have to do it again.”
As it settled into its new resting place, its breathing technique continued to work automatically, absorbing spiritual energy from the surroundings. This process was helping to heal its internal injuries faster as spiritual energy worked as a supplement of nutrients for cells.
Gradually, the crab went into a deep, peaceful sleep, its body working to recover.
The crab woke up, feeling much better and stronger. As it stretched, a system window appeared before it.

The crab glanced at the blue screen, still not understanding much of it. But one thing was clear: it needed more of those stones to become stronger.
"I don't want to eat fish anymore," it thought. "I need monsters with spiritual energy, spiritual plants, or stones like the one I just had."
Determined, the crab decided to get more of these stones. The *note* mentioned that eating more would make it stronger, and after sleeping, it indeed felt much more powerful than before, it thought.
It went back to the same spot and began to dig. As it worked, it found some bones and bits of gold and silver, but it ignored them. Its focus was solely on finding those shining rocks.
With its high-level Rock Smash skill, the crab dug quickly and efficiently. Soon, it had dug very deep and found another stone.
"One more," it thought, eyeing on the shining rock. But the crab wanted to collect some more, so it continued digging.
While the crab was busy digging, a few fish swam by, watching it curiously.
"What's that dangerous monster doing?" one fish thought.
"Didn't it just come here yesterday?" another fish wondered, talking with other fish of his group.
The fish observed for a while.
Eventually, losing interest, the fish left and continued with their own activities, leaving the crab to its work.
The crab continued to dig, realizing the perfect direction as it worked. Over the next one or two days, it managed to dig out four to five shining stones of different sizes.
Now it had collected a decent amount, the crab stopped. It then hid the large hole which was now about a kilometer deep, with big stones and sand.
The crab decided to build its home first, then eat the crystals and start practicing for safety reasons. It took another day to construct its perfect dwelling.
It had a designated eating place, a pooping place, a sunbathing spot for meditation purposes, and a sleeping area. The crab felt satisfied with its new cave and covered it with strong rocks, after covering all sides, even the ground, to ensure it was well-defended while practicing.
The crab took out all the shining stones. It started thinking for a moment and wondering if it should give them a name or a number. But soon, its head started hurting with this complex thing. Shaking its head quickly, it muttered, "It's too complicated," and he gave up.
"They're just shining rocks," he thought and said to himself, it didn't need to name them since it didn't have to tell anyone else.
The crab continued its painful practice for several days. One day, it finally advanced to the next stage of Qi Refining.
