A couple of years had passed since then, and Crab finally achieved the Foundation Building realm. He tricked a couple of crabs from Crab City to come out with him under the thought of exploring treasure had discovered.
Then, he did what he was good at. It didn't take much effort; he succeeded in just the second try, while the rest were killed and eaten by him. There was even a female crab among them, who begged him to spare her, willing to mate with him. But he was a smart guy and killed her too—who knows if she might leak his whereabouts.

Some of my skills evolved after fusion with the somewhat dragon bloodline and got a long-range attack skill, Venomous Water Strike, which performs long and wide-range attacks like poison rain.
Then Crab went outside to look for bodies. He had been doing this for a couple of months, either trying to get seriously injured humans or demonic beasts, but only at the level of Qi Refining he tried to capture alive. Yes, the war between humans and demonic beasts had started in full force.
He had captured several species alive and twisted their hands or legs so they couldn't run away and die, and from time to time, he broke their legs and hands again as they healed from spiritual energy.
His plan was simple. Although he couldn't get young dragon bloodlines or any other bloodlines of powerful species, he could get the blood of Golden Core and above-level powerful creatures who died after fighting. The only problem he discovered was that other species were also eyeing those bodies too.
His plan was to collect all their blood soon and use them together in one go, as a lot of failures were happening the further he went, so he just wanted to merge with all bloodlines at once.
Some more months passed, and the crab had collected almost every major powerful species' bloodlines through countless dead bodies. Who knew that humans would attack those special homes while the main forces were fighting, leading to a lot of young species at the Qi Refining level, even eggs, running away with some Foundation Building and Golden Core creatures or alone.
This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version.
Many species were just waiting for this moment, quickly capturing those weaker creatures. He also got a pure bloodline merfolk creature who kept screaming, so he had to cut its tongue to make it silent.
Today, he had dug up a giant, well-hidden pool, and a lot of species' meat, blood, and bodies were outside it, lying on ground or in wooden barrels. He started to chop them up like fruit and poured all of their blood and meat inside, including that of young merfolk species, along with humans.
Then, he mixed all the blood and meat like soup. Although there was a fight happening between different cells of different bloodlines, the crab didn’t see it. He just made a hole inside his body and went inside the pool, blocking his hole from healing with spiritual energy.
After some time, what he didn't expect happened. He was blasted into pieces. It seemed like he didn't know about the bloodline restrictions, which triggered. If it had been just one bloodline restriction, he might have survived, but there were too many different bloodlines, plus the restrictions of the dragon bloodline. The process ultimately caused him to explode.
But what was not known to the crab was that a cotton-like pollen of some plant was attached to the body of one of the beasts and was also mixed into the pool of blood. This pool was very wide and deep, as these species were also very large and had lots of blood. Soon, a system window loaded on that seed:
[Ding ding. Loading. System 2nd host dead. System will die in 10 seconds.]
Inside the system, a species monitoring the process exclaimed, "What? I have attached to the 3rd host! How can I die? Damn you, you stupid crab. Damn you!" The system insider was cursing as the 10 seconds passed.
[System is dead.]
The system shattered but left behind a blue ball. This blue ball essentially boosted talent, slowly absorbing energy from the surroundings and feeding it back to the host. It was also shattered, and all the talent improvement at once poured into that seed giving it one time boost. The seed quickly started absorbing the blood.
Meanwhile, in system hell…
A system Yama said, "Look what we have here, a failure system."
The system, confused and disoriented, asked, "Where am I, and who are you?" It saw a light being, more powerful than itself look like his species, seated on a high chair.
"Well, you are in system hell, where failure systems receive their punishment," Yama replied.
"No! How can this be possible? It wasn't my fault," the system protested. "It was that crab who ruined everything from the start. I couldn't even talk—I could only write notes according to his thoughts. You have to send me back. I have a new host in..." The system tried to explain desperately.
Yama interrupted, "No. You are a failed system that lets two hosts die. You are going to be punished for 10 billion years in the isolation chamber to reflect on your failures." Yama laughed as he pronounced the sentence.
"No!" the system screamed, but it's cries echoed as it was dragged away to the isolation chamber. The scream grew lower and lower until it disappeared altogether.
**From the Author - Very Important:**
I want to say that this is the end of Volume One, or Book One.
I know many of you are disappointed.
1. Continue this novel with a rise of plant cultivation, either creating a new book or a new volume. I am thinking of creating a new book since the system is dead and the MC is dead too.
2. Create two new novels instead. One of them will be about an MC transferred to a cultivation world but as a woman and receiving a child-bearing system.
3. Create a novel where the MC is transferred to a cultivation world and will slowly rise without a system. This was my original intention to write instead of "Bloodline Immortality." I will explain more about this later.
Both new novels will have an evil MC, meaning a smart MC who might do experiments to rise.
4. Delete this chapter and write Chapter 16 differently, with the crab not dying, and continue its story.
I have to tell you that writing this story took unexpected turns. Zhang Ming’s death and the system were never my original plan; I wanted to follow the 3rd option, but things went astray, and I just went with the flow. I had hoped for Crab to become human by abandoning his bloodline, but I was uncertain how to achieve that, so I started bloodline fusion. Additionally, I overpowered the system, which I’m not fond of.
Though it might be common for other authors to have Crab defeat a foundation building cultivator at qi refining, I didn’t want to follow that path. Feeling disheartened with Crab’s story, I decided to let him die, with his wish partially fulfilled, which was breaking through the bloodline limit and finding mate
I let him have the 1st one before his death. I am such a good author.
Now, I can either write one chapter of each of the new options in 3-4 days, given that I’m not earning money and have to study, or you can choose one of the new options. I recommend choosing the 2nd option because it will feature a talkative system and an evil MC, which could be quite entertaining. I’ll detail it more compared to the bloodline immortality and make the story slower-paced.

I will just pick randomly.
