Enderian, following the dim light of the fire jumps into the cave. There were four goblins waiting, ready to fight for their lives. Enderian begins the attack, swing, slash, slash.
Block, block, block; the crafty goblin was masterful with his shield, and when Enderian got too close, the goblin’s sword would be there to keep him in line.
A goblin runs up, swinging his axe into the side of Enderian’s leather armour, deep, drawing blood.
Enderian swings a backwards fist, catching the axe goblin in the face and sending him staggering back.
Ameliah enters the cave as well, immediately preying on the faltering axe goblin; swing, splash, blood splattered onto her face.
Enderian’s eyes widen at the scene, and while dazed, a spear goblin runs up and pierces into Enderian’s side once more.
“Aghh!! Damn!!” Enderian calls out, wildly swinging out with his sword, but too far out of reach to catch the spear goblin.
The shield goblin rushes up, blocking Enderian’s wild swinging, before lunging his sword into Enderian’s side for a third time.
Enderian winces, “Gah, fool my mother, son of an elf deer!” He calls out.
Ameliah had swung around behind them, and with a masterful swing of her axe, gets the shield goblin right in the back, gouging out a hefty amount of flesh.
Bleeding and severely in pain, Enderian eyes the last spear goblin like a demon.“I have to kill you,” Enderian calls out with bloodshot eyes, “At least you,” he says with an evil laugh.

The spear goblin’s eyes widen, and without hesitation, makes a break for it, running for the cave entrance.
Ameliah watches the goblin go, taking several deep breaths to calm herself.
Too weak, and seeing his prey running, Enderian collapses to the ground.
Ameliah throws over a small jar to Enderian, “Cover your wounds quick, there are more inside,” she says.
Enderian frowns and begins to apply the salve before getting up. “Gosh, darn green giblets,” he cries, wincing at the pain.
“Come on, let’s go.” Ameliah says, leading the way.
...
...
Lit by the light of a candle, an old goblin was on its knees, praying at an altar; sacrificed there was a small bunny.
Enderian’s sword pierces into the old goblin’s neck and lets out a sigh. “I think that’s the last one,” He says. “Also, I’m coming down, my body feels very heavy,” he says.
“Same,” Ameliah says, “Maybe I should have been a priestess. You know, help the people.” She says.
Enderian chuckles. “I should have settled with a desk job,” he says, amused.
Rat enters the cave room, and performs a short clap. “Well done,” he says, closely observing the two. “And you seem to have awakened your battle energy, congratulations.” He says, pleased with the results. “Once you become First Circle mages, it should be enough for both of you to be promoted to official adventurers, then... Then the world will be your oyster,” He says with a laugh.
Enderian smiles, “Speaking of, I’m starving,” he says with a chuckle.
...
...
“Eight pairs of goblin ears,” Ameliah says, placing the bag on the desk.
The blonde lady behind the desk takes the bag with a smile and places it away. “Thank you,” she says, before stopping to think, looking at Ameliah and Enderian. “Say, would you two happen to have more room on your team?” She asks.
Ameliah raises an eyebrow, “Who’s asking?” She asks.
The lady reaches out her hand, “I’m Elana,” she says.
Ameliah shakes her hand, waiting for her answer.
“My little sister, Erin is looking for a team of beginners to join,” she says, shaking her head. “I’ve told her she should join someone who can properly protect her, but she insists on a beginner team,” Elana says.
Ameliah’s brows furrow, “Why?” She asks.
A blush forms on Elana’s face. “Well,” she starts to say, hesitating. “She... Sort of wants to lead.” She says with a bitter smile.
Ameliah’s eyes widen. “Lead? But I’m the leader.” She says.
Enderian smiles.
Elana shakes her hands, “That’s not important. The important thing, is that she doesn’t want to be bossed around. I’m sure a three-person co-operation will be easier to manage than it seems.” She says, looking to Ameliah and Enderian. “Well?” She asks.
Ameliah frowns, looks to Enderian, and nods. “That’s fine, we can meet her,” she says.
Elana bows her head twice and grabs Ameliah’s hands. “Thank you, thank you,” she says before grabbing Enderian’s hands. “Thank you,” she says.
Enderian smiles. “You have beautiful eyes,” he says.
Ameliah slaps Enderian on the shoulder. “Keep it in your pants, dear,” she says.
