“Ughh… ugh…” Enderian exclaims in anguish, feeling as if he had once again been hit by a bus. His body felt like he's been through something intense. But still… He thinks as he opens and closes his hands. For some reason, his body continued to function. He lets out a sigh. Forget about it. I'm hungry. He thinks to himself before standing up and walking.
He was in the forest somewhere. That's all Enderian knew. Also, he had an inkling that he had just been stabbed by a monk, but he had no idea how much of that actually happened.
Enderian decided to ignore the matter. Instead, he wanted to go scavenge up some food. Maybe the forest had some berries or something.
Enderian continues to walk.
Further and further.
Eventually, he realized he had experienced something similar previously.
Enderian continues to walk until he forgets how long he’s been walking.
His body begins to starve once more, but he continues to walk.
Eventually, these experiences begin to pile up in Enderian’s mind. He felt like he’s been walking on endlessly. Now it was not just his body that felt heavy, but his mind began to feel heavier as well.
Enderian continued to walk, until the weight of his mind became too much to bear. No longer caring about anything, he decided to lay on the ground and be at peace.

…
…
“Hey! Hey!” A voice calls out.
Enderian’s hazy mind looks up. It was the girl. The one who had been taken from him.
Enderian quickly grabs hold of her and pulls her into an embrace. “Don’t leave me again!” Enderian exclaims.
“Hey! Hey! Get off of me!” The girl exclaims as she raises a hand.
**SLAP**
A sharp sting hits Enderian’s face and his eyes widen. He looks around once more and realizes he’s still in the forest.
Before her was a brown-haired girl with fiery, angry eyes.
“What do you think you’re doing!? Grabbing onto random girls like that! You should be ashamed!” She yells out.
Enderian felt shocked. He had no idea what was happening. “I’m sorry.” He says. “I must have collapsed in the forest. My name is Enderian. May have yours?” He asks as he reaches for a handshake.
The brown-haired girl frowns. Then she let out a sigh before grabbing Enderian’s hand. “My name is Ameliah. Nice to meet you.” She says.
Enderian raises an eyebrow. “Where are you going, Ameliah? I don’t suppose you know where this is? I seem to have been lost for days.” He says, hoping for an answer.
The girl smiles. “This is Greengarden Forest. I’m on my way to the mountain city of Zeffer, the city of adventurers! I had just left home. My dream is to explore the world, and to do that, I’ll have to be able to protect myself, so I’m becoming an adventurer!” She says with a determined look.
Enderian lets out a smirk. “Great! Please lead the way!” He says enthusiastically.
The girl raises an eyebrow. “You want to become an adventurer too?” She asks.
Enderian lets out a smile. “Well, maybe. For now, I’d just be happy to get some food.” He says, somewhat embarrassed.
“Hmm.” The girl says as she considers this new traveling companion. “Very well. Come along.” She says before leading the way forwards.
“It isn’t too far from here. We’ll be there in about half an hour.” She says as she walks forward.
Enderian smiles as he happily follows. “So how does one become an adventurer?” He asks.
“How else? You join the adventurer’s guild!” Ameliah says. “You should join too! It’s a great way to make some money! That way we can try to get into the same group. It would be much easier if a boy was trying to join as well. Do you know how to fight?” She asks.
“Fight?” Enderian says, somewhat surprised. “I’m not sure. You mean, like with your fists?” He asks, unsure whether guns were a thing in this place.
“Yeah, sure. Fists, swords, bows and arrows. Do you have any experience?” She asks.
Enderian scratches his cheek in embarassment. “Ah, well, no.” He admits.
Ameliah smiles. “Well, that’s okay. We’ll start of small. Some herb picking here and there. Then, we’ll buy some weapons. After that, goblin hunting!” She says with a chuckle.
Enderian’s eyes widen. “Goblins? There are goblins here?” He asks, somewhat wary.
“Sure there are. A bunch of them. Goblin culling is a good source of gold around here.” Ameliah says with a smile.
Enderian lets out a bitter smile. “Sounds fun.” He says.
