Ameliah and Enderian walk back to Zeffer with slumped shoulders.
“Gotta submit the herbs, apply for an adventurer's dormitory, and find a place at an inn, and the sun's setting soon.” Ameliah says with a sigh, tired from the work, but still operating with dedication.
As for Enderian, he walked along like a little lamb.
“Say, Ameliah,” He begins to say, “Is there magic in this world?” He asks.
Ameliah shakes her head, “Of course there's magic, what kind of silly question is that?” She asks, disappointed.
“Hmm, I wonder if that’s what it is…” Enderian says.
Ameliah raises a brow, “What are you talking about?” She asks.
Enderian lets out a bitter smile. “Ever since I met you, I’ve felt a warm stream of energy flowing through my body.” He says, admitting to it.
Ameliah’s eyes widen, intrigued, “What can it do? Do you think its magic?” She asks.
“It could be magic,” He says, “When you were held down by the wolf, I also felt a burst of strength. I ran over to you too fast, and my first instinct with all that strength was to wrestle the wolf, I’m not sure I could have done that without the energy.” He says, trying to explain.

Ameliah furrows her brows as she walks, “Well, there is also such a thing as warrior energy. It could be that.” She says.
“Hmm, maybe.” He says.
Ameliah lets out a sigh. “Anyways, we’ll figure all that out later. For now, we have work to do,” She says, continuing to lead the way forward.
“Yes, ma’am,” Enderian says, following.
… …
… …
Enderian takes off his shirt, about to get in the bath, when he looks at his arms. Earlier, the wolf had managed to scratch him pretty bad and his arms were pretty bloody, but now…
Enderian grabs a handful of water from the bath and begins to clean his arms, the dried blood washing off.
Enderian raises an eyebrow. There was nothing there, his arms were clean of scratches.
Enderian frowns. Why? He asks.
He pulls out his dagger, lets out a breath to calm himself, than cuts his palm.
Enderian winces at the pain, then looks.
Enderian’s eyes widen. His wound was healing visibly, knitting itself together.
Enderian felt somewhat dizzy, Was he an alien?
Enderian couldn’t think of it any longer. He takes off his pants and gets into the bath. It’s been a long day.
…
…
Enderian lets out a yawn and walks into the bustling dining area.
Ameliah waves a hand.
Enderian walks over and sits down. “That was a nice rest,” He says.
Ameliah shakes her head. “Yes, but pricey. If we don’t get into an adventure’s dormitory, we’ll be out on the streets soon,” She says.
Enderian laughs, “I’m sure we’ll be fine,” He says.
Ameliah looks to Enderian and smirks, “I hope you’re worth that level of confidence,” She says. “Anyways, first, our goals. On the top of the list, two introduction books, to magical energy and warrior energy. These are pricey, and sometimes not even available, but luckily we’re in Zeffer, we should be able to obtain them if we cough up the cash.” She says.
“What do we need those for?” Enderian asks.
“Well, you said you felt some sort of energy, it could possibly be either of those. Also, I need to awaken my warrior energy if I’m ever to become a top-tier adventurer.” Ameliah says.
“Next on our list, buy you a proper weapon. We’ll have to grind a lot for these things, but it can be done. And last but not least, we have to get approved for hunting requests, we can’t live off just ingredient picking. There could be days where we find nothing out there, then we’ll start getting loans, then loan sharks will take our belongings, then we’ll have to sell our bodies to survive; it will be terrible.” Ameliah says.
Enderian’s eyes widen. “Damn, Ameliah, you have a wild imagination.” He says with a laugh.
