All of us scattered around, when before we entered the gun shop, there were 6 of them, 2 soldiers and 4 civilians. That would make us all 11 when we joined.
The 4 civilians went behind the shop with guns on their arms. Me, Jayden and the others went behind the counter. Guns displayed on the counter might be a good idea for back up and it's a good thing the counter is far from the door and away from the 3 windows.
One soldier joined at the back of the gun shop, there might be windows while the soldier who taught us stayed with us. The soldier threw me a stand for my gun, I think they called this a bipod. I installed the bipod on my machine gun and placed it on the countertop aiming at the door.
I aimed around to see if I can turn this thing around for me to aim at the windows. Jayden is on my left and Glenn on my right. Kristy is beside Jayden and Jane is beside Glenn, both of them are aiming at the windows.
The soldier took some unused planks and placed them on the ground. The soldier put loaded magazines in front of us, might be a faster way to reload weapons. The Undeads swarmed around us.
The soldier, went behind us taking a position behind us.
"Alright, everyone, "we've got to defend this spot!" he shouted
He glanced around, assessing the situation.
"Johnny, you hold that door. Jayden, your sniper rifle can reach those windows. Glenn, you're right flanked, ready to blast anything that gets through the planks I placed on the floor. The girls, also kill them when they pass through the planks. Johnny and Jayden will be doing the long range one, reload as fast as you can. When the machine gunner runs out of ammo in his magazine, Glenn and the 2 will freely shoot even how far they are."
I felt the weight of the Farens C102 settle on my shoulder, the bipod keeping it steady. I aimed the powerful weapon down the aisle, ready to unleash a storm of lead.
My eyes darted to my left, where Jayden had already found a comfortable position for his sniper rifle, the scope trained on the nearest window. Glenn, with a determined glint in his eye, loaded his shotgun, his back against the counter, ready to defend his position. Kristy and Jane, flanking Johnny and Glenn, held their AR-15s steady, their eyes scanning for any sign of movement.
*Clack*
*Clingi ling*
The damaged window got broken by something, an axe. A undead holding an axe. The undead started to enter and tripped. I aimed at the window(which is from my left point of view) and started spraying them bullets.
*Rat tatatatatata*
*Baaang*
*Chik cik*
Jayden joined, his bullet went through a lot of them. We shoot their heads for an insta-kill.
*Clack*
*Clingi ling*
The window on the right, Glenn and Jane aimed on the right, waiting for the incoming undead walk pass through the plank but I aimed at them and showered them bullets before they went past the plank.
"Crackak*
The front door got destroyed, they started to enter the gun shop. I aimed at them and now showered them with bullets. The alarm continued to rang on our ears.
*Bang*
The soldier behind us shot the alarm, the alarm died out. The comfort of my ears after endlessly hearing the alarm is a great pleasure.
*Bang*
*Chik kik*
Glenn on my right shot the Undeads who went past the planks. Jayden and I just continued shooting at them.
*Click click click*
My gun ran out of ammo, Glenn, Kristy, and Jane noticed and started shooting. The soldier taught me how to reload it. I went back to action again and started showering them with bullets, the 3 stopped shooting and reloaded.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
"Aaaaahhhhhh!"
A scream can be heard behind the room. 3 Civilians started running, jumped over the counter, ran behind us and went to the other room on our right which is the shooting range. I looked on the left where the civilians came from.
A soldier came out of the room fighting an undead, they fell to the ground and the soldier started yelling.
"Fall back! Fall back!" The soldier behind us shouted
We started getting the magazines on the counter and followed the civilians to the shooting range. Suddenly, a civilian started charging at us with his shoulder ready to bash someone. All of us dodge it as we saw him. Suddenly, a 4th civilian came out of nowhere revealed at the door and got pushed by the civilian charging.
The 4th civilian fell to the ground, the Undeads started grabbing him and swarming him to eat him. The civilian who did it closed the door and locked it. He... Just killed someone, I was nearly pushed by him mostly I am the last in line.
We could hear the shouts of the 4th civilian behind the door. The civilian who had slammed the door, his face contorted with a mixture of fear and desperation, turned to face the survivors, his chest heaving.
"Listen, "I know it doesn't seem like it now, but I had to do it. There were too many of them. I had to buy us time. We needed to get to this room, to prepare, to fight back." he said, his voice strained.
He took a step forward, his gaze meeting each of our faces.
"I know it's not easy to understand right now, but trust me, I did it for us. I did it to save us."" he said, his voice pleading.
"He's delusional, he just doomed that guy for nothing. Those things, they don't care about a locked door." Glenn spat, his voice dripping with scorn.
Jayden, his anger boiling over
"This room's not even a good spot. They can just ignore him because he was already swarmed and just continued to our door. He just left him to die for no reason. He even tried to push us but we dodged it in time."
The civilian started sweating after what Jayden said
The soldier, his gaze hardened with experience, stepped forward, his eyes meeting the civilian who had locked the door.
"You tried to bought us some time, but it was useless, look, they are already banging on the door. They ignored him"
The soldier looked around
"Let's go to the other end of the shooting range! We can camp there and wait for them!" He shouted
We jumped over the obstacle and ran to the other end. The soldier assigned our positions based on our guns, it is similar to our position as before. The 2 civilians joined Kristy and Jane on their sides. The traitor joined Jayden as a sniper. Glenn remained as a shotgun. The soldier put bullet shells on the ground.
"Just as before, Kristy, Jane and Glenn, start shooting when they pass through the bullets I placed, have keen eyes because of how small it is. The new 2, Vincent and Liam, just shoot, and Ginet, shoot with the guy beside you" the solder ordered
We gave space for him behind us. I went prone so that I could stand the gun. The others also did the same thing, we waited for the undead to break through the door. I double checked if I missed something, I have 3 boxes of ammo for my gun and a used box already loaded. I aimed again.
*Crack*
They broke through the door, they started swarming. They started tripping and going on top of each other.
"Aim in their brain for one shot if we want to conserve ammo" the soldier shouted
Some of the undead stood up, they started to come towards us but the square wall thing where it is a line and it is before it where you shoot the shooting frames.
"Aim!"
We waited for the soldier's order. The undead started to climb over it. The undeads tripped over it and stood up.
"Fire!"
We started shooting at them, showering them with bullets. The room is so loud, the soldier put something on my ear, muffling the gun sounds.
"I cut some pieces of my uniform and my napkin. I wrapped the napkins around pieces of my uniform making a makeshift ear protection. It is not much but of course muffles some noise" the soldier said
He gave the others ear protections. With the strength of my LMG and the others made the undeads hard time to get through the bullets the soldier placed. The room erupted in a cacophony of sound.
The Farens C102 roared, spitting a torrent of lead downrange. Bullets ripped through the air, each one a searing streak of metal aimed at the heart of the undead horde.
*Rat-a-tat-tat-tat-tat*
Echoed through the shooting range, a symphony of destruction that reverberated off the walls.
Jayden's sniper rifle cracked like thunder, each shot a precise, deadly whisper. The scope, a cold, unblinking eye, picked out the most vulnerable targets – heads and chests, leaving trails of blood and gore in their wake.
Glenn, his shotgun a booming testament to his unwavering focus, blasted anything that dared to approach the makeshift barrier. Each blast sent a shockwave through the air, the smell of gunpowder thick in the air.
*Bang-bang-bang*
Filled the room, the sound of righteous fury.
The new arrivals, Vincent and Liam, held their Arma-12 with a newfound confidence, their fire steady and precise. Ginet, flanking Liam, her Arma-12 a blur of motion, aimed for heads, each shot a silent prayer for survival. Chik-chik-chik resonated, a steady rhythm of death.
The soldier, his face grim but resolute, moved from one to another, his voice a calm beacon in the storm.
"Keep firing! Don't let them get through!"
He barked, his instructions precise, his eyes scanning for any weakness in their defenses.
Kristy, her eyes focused, her finger twitching on the trigger, aimed for the horde's weakest points – where the infected stumbled and fell, where the flesh hung loose, where the bones were exposed. She knew that every bullet saved was a bullet that could be used to defend them.
Jane, mirroring Kristy's intensity, fired with a calm, practiced rhythm. Her CDR-6, a familiar extension of her hand, unleashed a continuous stream of fire, each shot aimed at the heart of the undead menace.
I reloaded my gun
"GRAAAAHHHH!"
I looked up because the growl sounded near, it is a undead running.... A fucking undead running!
*BANG*
Glenn shot the running undead's head. Our face is full of fear.
"There is no way they are running!" Glenn shouted
"Keep shooting! We can talk about it later!" The soldier shouted
More undeads started running at us, it is a full of surprise to us. We are not adapted to this kind of undead, were are only adapted to the one walking.
My gun ran out of bullet, I started reloading but I hear no one shooting. I looked around, all of them are also reloading. There is a undead running towards us. I took out my pistol out of my pocket but it is already near us.
*Bang*
A gunshot heard behind us, it was the soldier. He started shooting at the other near running undeads. I finally reloaded my gun and started shooting.
*Ratatatatatatatatatat*
*Tinginging*
The empty shells coming out of our guns echoed. The undeads started to dying out, there's small number of the can be seen entering until one left.
*Bang*
*Chik-kik*
Jayden did the final shot, there's no more of them entering. The floor is filled of undeads bodies piling up.
"I... I think there's none of them" Jayden said
We stood up, we waited for movement, nothing.
"I don't want to stay in this gun shop, we need to move!" Liam shouted
"We have a truck outside, we can use it" I replied
We start to pick up the unused magazine on the ground. We walk through the the most right side where the undeads didn't pile up. The only way to get out of this room is throught the door. We started to walk over the undeads hoping there's none of them awake.
We finally made through but there's still more, the windows and the door is piled of dead bodies. We went to the right window which it have the smaller amount of bodies. We finally made it outside, I took the lead and ran to the truck. I waited for them to enter the container.
"Do any of you know somewhere safe?" I asked
"Wait, I know but I had to let them know first" the soldier replied
I waited I heard some walkie talkie sound and the soldier talking, but I can't hear their conversation.
"Do any of you know where Binarete Park is?" The soldier asked
"I know" Jayden replied
"Then show the driver where it is, that place is still guarded by soldiers and no undead" the soldier said
"Okay, but that place is very far from here" Jayden said to me
I started the car and started driving, following Jayden's instructions.
