27. A Shallow Sea of Blood

Screams.

Lots of them.

So many that my ears ached.

And a smell… it smelled like the air was filled with piss, shit and alcohol.

I opened my eyes and to find that I was sounded by an ocean of corpses.

Most of them mutilated to the point where they just looked like chunks of flesh and bone floating in a shallow sea of blood.

My blurry eyes focused on the dark orange sun that hung eerily above the horizon.

I absolutely hated that thing, so my much so that my face twisted in disgust.

I spat out what looked like blood and I looked down to find that a golden sword was sticking through my ash white chest-

I gasped painfully as I noticed that I was on top of a naked man with long white hair that had been dirtied by the bloody muck beneath us. His face so badly beaten that I couldn’t make out any of his features. Teeth were messily smeared across his wounded face and even though he was this damaged, he still breathed.

I then noticed that I was grabbing his legs and it’s here that my dick was in his ass.

I raised my hands and saw that they were covered in blood and pieces of flesh.

“AHHHHHHHHHHH!”

I tried screaming, but my voice was drowned by the countless others.

I then felt something land on my shoulder.

I looked and saw that it looked like water only it was all slimy.

I looked up and my eyes widened as I gazed into the eyes of a gigantic burnt woman. The liquid from before was warm drool that fell from her open mouth.

“Haha!” I laughed upon noticing the flakes of charred flesh falling from the woman’s body.

She simply stared at me without expression and I couldn’t help but laugh, even though it hurt me to do so.

My eyes rolled back further allowing to see more of the woman’s face and body.

Her charred breasts were barely covered in a burnt gown and at its center was sigil. Three burning circles that were entwined.

My laugh turned into chuckle as my gaze returned in front of me.

I gasped as the man beneath me was now Yna.

She stared at me with unfeeling eyes before crossing her legs and pulling me closer to her.

I reached out and grabbed her breasts while she grabbed the sword in my chest.

I cried out in pain as she rhythmically pulled the sword further in and out of me and with each stroke, copious amounts of my blood fell onto her big, beautiful body.

“Fuck!”

I cursed as my eyes rolled back from the mind numbing pleasure and excruciating pain.

I glared at the stupid sun while Yna's insides convulsed at the same pace as she stabbed me.

I screamed so loudly that I could feel my vocal chords ache from the strain.

I looked down again and like before, the person had changed-

“AHHHHHHH!”

I saw Riley’s stupid body beneath me and for some reason he was crying.

Even in this world, he was pathetic.

I gently placed my right hand on his cheek and leaned to his face.

The poor boy continued crying and so, to make him feel better, I fucked him, but gently.

Katsíki tried looking away, but I grabbed his head and forced him to look me in my eyes.

Words came from his small mouth, but I couldn’t hear them.

I didn’t care.

Instead, I grabbed his small hand and placed it on the golden swords hilt.

“Hurt me.” I whispered.

I knew he couldn’t hear me but I hoped he knew what I meant to say.

Riley’s eyes trembled as he looked around in panic.

Aww… poor thing was trying to figure things out.

He just always had to think things through.

No one could deceive or trick him.

He said various things as tears continuously fell from his beautiful brown eyes.

This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.

I was beginning to grow tired of him and since he would hurt me, I grabbed his neck and punched him in the face.

This led to the dark world around is trembling and a sharp pain assaulted the left side of my face.

“YES!” I yelled, spraying blood onto Katsíki’s pretty little body.

I punched him several more times.

The first punch broke his nose, the second dislodged jaw and the third shattered the housing that kept his left eye in place.

All this resulted in a wave of blood washing over both of us as my dark world twisted and collapsed.

My thoughts became muddled and the only thing I could see was Katsíki’s face and of course, like everyone else, he looked me with disgust.

Perhaps...

I considered giving him my body for a while.

Maybe that would put an end to it all for a bit.

.

..

“Ah!” I screamed as my body twisted and convulsed.

“Katsíki!” Yna cried as she tried holding down my flailing limbs, but I was in far too much pain and even when I opened my eyes, I could still see… I could still feel…

Yna tightened her hold on me as I wailed.

I clung to Yna desperately as my mind screamed, not it pain, but in remembrance.

Yna gently ran her hands through my hair and even though I desperately tried to forget, I couldn’t.

[This is what you wanted, right?]

Someone whispered, their voice crystal clear, even in a sea of screams.

[My memories, my desires, my pleasure, my pain…]

.

..

Some time passed and I eventually managed to separate my thoughts from the screams.

I raised my head and looked at Yna, who’s eyes glowed fairly brightly.

“I’m sorry.”

“For what?” Yna asked softly.

“For saying and doing all those things. Ken- I got a little too caught up in everything.” I said as Yna pushed my head onto her chest.

“It’s… fine. Nothing you said or did was necessarily wrong. I am all those things and your dream is as important as you say it is. But… I feel as though you and I are at our best when we work together, despite being from different worlds.”

“Yeah.” I said. My voice muffled by Yna’s bosom.

I then pushed myself away and inspected myself to find that I was in my humanoid form.

I tried turning back into a goat and although black smoke covered my body, it didn’t change.

“Uh-oh.”

“Can’t change back?” Yna asked and I nodded while inspecting my now blackened goat legs.

I gasped upon seeing large black patches on my skin and like Farin said, they burnt slightly.

“Wanna tell me what happened?” Yna asked.

My mind flashed back to that awful place, but keeping quiet wasn’t going to solve anything and so I hopped onto the bed next to Yna.

I then recounted everything that happened in that place.

“Oh, my.” Yna gasped.

“Yeah.” I said while rubbing my small arms.

Yna must have assumed I was cold because she wrapped a small blanket around me.

“So… now you’re entirely in control?” She asked.

I looked up at the cabin’s roof and closed my eyes.

I could still feel all of the darkness in Coh, the Expanse and the region where Edenton stopped and space started, so not much had changed in that regard.

I tried reaching further out and the face of a certain figure flashed in my mind.

I shook my head and sighed.

“I feel the same, but we’ll have to see if anything changes in the future.”

Yna nodded and I noticed that it had already gotten quite bright outside.

I walked out into the streets of Coh and even though most of Coh was covered in the shade of countless trees, I felt the heat of the sun even still.

The sun…

I led Yna to the northern wall where I peered into Lanceberg.

“How long do you think it’ll take the Blood Ravens to get here?”

“Depends on how quickly Joha informs the High Priests. They’ll then have to consult the Grandmaster. So I give the Ravens about a week.” Yna said.

“What about if… the Goldcrest knights found themselves… unable to notify anyone of your existence?”

“I thought you said I shouldn’t murder anyone.”

“I didn’t say anything about killing anyone. What I asked is what would happen if the Goldcrests failed to notify anyone.”

“Mmm… that depends. If the Goldcrests were to suddenly disappear, then someone in their hometown would notify the High Priests etc. This would extend our time by maybe a few days since it’d take some time for people to realize that the entire legion was missing.” Yna said.

“I see.”

I then turned around and looked at Coh.

My beautiful sanctuary.

I crossed my arms and sighed.

“We need to teach the young ones how to defend themselves or how to buy time at least. You said something about the Foph having some techniques that allowed them to get better at magic. Can any of the young ones use magic?”

“Unfortunately, no. But I think I should head to the Oasis and learn what I can. That way I can teach what I learnt to any magicians we may find.”

I nodded before remembering something.

“Come.” I said before leading Yna back to the waterfall.

I then willed that the five black straight swords follow us towards the residential area where we were greeted by Farin, who looked rather spooked.

“Err… I’m sure it was nothing, but I think a storm passed over Coh last night.” Farin asked while wiping the sweat off of his brow.

“I’m… pretty sure it was nothing.” I said with a nervous chuckle.

Farin made a perplexed expression before his eyes widened.

“Oh my! I just realized that you are in your other form and… you’re covered in Dark Marks.” He said, but I waved my small hands dismissively.

“Don’t worry too much about it. Actually all this means is that we really need to find a healer, right?”

“I suppose.” Farin groaned as Yna walked towards her students.

Farin then noticed the swords floating next to me.

“Who are those for?” He asked while accompanying me to Yna, who lectured her students of various things.

They all wore simple leather armor which Yna had made for them, but they had a set of harder and thicker dark armor that I made for them just in case.

“They are for these guys. Hey, all.” I greeted and they all deeply bowed.

“Good morning, lord Katsíki.”

They all said while standing in a neat row.

“Here.” I said as the swords floated towards the young Rendaro, who all looked at the weapons in awe.

I would have been more proud and boastful, if I wasn’t so tired.

“Use them to defend Coh and its people.” I said and after gabbing the swords, they all deeply bowed.

I nodded before turning to leave.

My eyes them locked with those of Erna.

She tilted her head in confusion as she looked me over.

Her eyes then widened and she immediately ran up to me while Yna and everyone else walked away.

“Hey! Katsíki is a boy now.” She said excitedly.

I placed my hands on my hips before scoffing.

“Foolish girl. This isn’t even my final form!”

“There’s more?” Erna asked with a dropped jaw.

“Of course, but I’m far too tired to show-“

“Show me!” Erna yelled.

“But-“

“Show me, please.” She said while making a sad face.

She was always like this.

I just couldn’t say no to her silly self.

Unfortunately, I didn’t really have a final form and so I raised my hand and created a blunt mock sword.

“Only true warriors have ever seen my final form. Take this and become stronger. Then maybe one day you’ll see my true form!” I said while dramatically offering Erna the sword.

Her eyes trembled with excitement as she accepted the black sword which weighed about as much as a sheet of cardboard.

“Thank you so much! Just wait, you’ll see. I’ll become a strong warrior, like lady Yna.” Erna said with a bright smile.

“You sure will. Now go.” I said with a gentle smile.

Erna then sped back home and almost as soon as she left, my smile disappeared.

I walked towards Yna’s Dojo where I heard strange noises.

I looked inside and saw that all of Yna’s students were trying to lift her dark sword.

“Uh… where’s Yna?” I asked.

“Right here.” Yna said from behind me.

I looked up and looked into her golden eyes.

“The Foph also have some interesting fruits. Nicely ask for some, ok?” I asked and Yna nodded.

She then turned to leave and I was forced to deal with my thoughts by myself.
