Chapter 3

Well... Fuck. There goes the whole idea of summoning billions of heroes from various worlds with, various skills and abilities and then conquering the entire fucking world. Then getting a shit ton of scientists and conquering the universe, and then moving from dimension to dimension conquering and crushing all in my wake. Dare to dream Heath... dare to dream.

Welp moving on I said in my standard monotone sounding voice which to myself had motion in it, "Samuel can you ask TMG to kill Rosie. He knows who I'm referring to."

Yeah sure

"Heath who's this Rosie and what'd she do to garner death." Christian asked in curiosity.

"My 'mother' and she's pissed me off because....uuuuummmmm... what was it again. Oh yeah that's right, tried to kill my Father by running him over with a car that technically belongs to my grandma, which is perfectly legal according to the Australian police because their married, abused my younger brother, slamming him against walls clearly demonstrating how useful child safety is in Australia, hocked in our stuff to cashies and pennywise, is a heroin addict, a fucking junkie, packet whore, escort which is pretty much a prostitute, a hypocritical fuck wit, a moody teenager at best and convinced us that our own Father hated us and then, every time we tell her this shit she's like, 'You haven't heard the whole story and I'm not telling you because I'm not that petty,' or something like even though she did that when we were little. Obviously, I've forgotten some of things she's done but here's most of it."

Why is it that all The Mortal God's have somewhat fucked up lives? TMG's apprentice was beaten, tortured and mentally abused for 20 years because he didn't look right, by his parents and later the entire fucking town. After those 20 years he slaughtered the entire nation he was in and became a false god, by that world's standards, then a true god and then was found by TMG or TDG as he went by in those days. Bear in mind this was a world and that was a nation that abhored torture and condemmed those who did it.

"Fuck. Now mildly depressed." I said somewhat depressed.

Looking back at the cave or really, dungeon entrance and saw a good portion of my mercenaries looking at the carnage left by myself and the heroes. They all had shock and horror and some of the more aware guys were looking at me and then back at the gory scene before them trying to figure out how powerful I was.

Well, time to make myself into a God in their eyes. Clearing my throat and then using the power of voice projecting from cadets, I addressed the 500 mercenaries, "I, Heath God of The Void, Afterlife, Darkness and Demons," Really glad I said Demons, "have destroyed the army sent by the empire. Anyone want to oppose my rule like a certain bastard child? NO? Well then you all worship me now."

Gained 496 Followers, 700 Faith, 4 Devote that can be made into paladins of your respective domains. Limited to one per paladin.

"Samuel make those devote a paladin then, fancy as well please." I whispered as I let the mercenaries absorb the information. Samuel didn't answer me with blue boxes, like those from Royal Road but with a really flashy and honestly pretty cool effect. 4 beams of light, one black, one red, one grey and one a cacophony of colours, all descend from the sky and went through the rock and soil to cover 4 different people. Taking complete and utter advantage of the confusion, I shouted over the sound of their voices, "THEY ARE MY PALADINS!" Now that they'd all quietened down I continued, "They have been bestowed my blessings and will be granted an extra life for their future service. Only one though." The last part I said in a rushed manner to quell the voices of the unhappy.

Weeks later...

Okay balancing issues. Damn. Feels bad. Appraisal. Haven't used that at all. And what the fuck does integration do. Ahhhhh. Appraisal on stat integration.

Raise the fucking level cock head

"Fuck you too Samuel."

3 and a half hours later...

Done appraisal level 5. As is done in every litRPG I appraised a bunch of random shit. Anyway, appraise integration.

Integration: It's the stat that is only available to those who've changed bodies or those who have just joined the system with no prior experience with either the body or system. Higher levels make the affected much more aware of what is at their disposal. For example if changing from a 4 limbed body to a 8 limbed body say 6 arms, then with no prior experience the user will most likely only use 2 of the arms but as integration becomes higher the user will use more of the 6 arms until all are used on a fairly regular basis. For those who join the system having access to certain skills or abilities may not be used as they do not remember nor do they understand how or what those skills or abilities do. Simply put it's how well you use the system and your body. Disappears after reaching 100%, appears at 50%

"Hey Seb. What's your integration at?" I shouted out to him after he entered my sight.

"98%. Why? What's yours at?" He asked me as he ran over to me so we didn't have to shout.

"29% but let's fight and we'll see who wins."

5 Minutes later...

Seb was wearing his combat armour which was a bunch of tanned leather with metal plates placed over it for added protection but didn't hinder much in the way of movement. He wielded a long sword one handed grip and used a steel circle shield. I had changed my gear to a full set of plate mail, whose weight I had ensured was not high enough to ground me if I fell over in it, and a steel tower shield with a steel bastard sword or hand-and-a-half sword.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

The guy in charge of the arena announced loudly, "The battle between Heath and Sebastian will begin in 5...4...3...2...1 START!!!!!" The cheering was very loud but after a second I block it out. We circled each other for a few minutes waiting for the other to attack. I caved in first as I always had and charged with my tower shield in front. I never collided with him as he moved out of the way and swung his sword down upon my neck trying to kill me. I already had my sword in a reverse grip quickly stabbed towards his right side roughly around his ribs. It struck one of the plates but he was forced to abandon his attack on my neck.

We then went back to facing each other and the plate I'd hit was doing more damage to himself then it was protecting him. I then used a darkness spell available to me from being the God of darkness, which was dark spear. As you can now doubt guess it created a bunch of spears that attempt to impale the target. They didn't impale him as I'd used an extra point of mana or two to have them target the undamaged metal plates to restrict his movements and generally do damage to him.

My main advantage in this fight was the fact that I was a tank and a DPS whilst Seb was full on DPS making me much better at killing him as I can deal a bit less damage than he can but I can take a lot more damage than he will for a fair while. But his main advantage was his speed which when used with me made him a heavy damage dealer. What he did after the metal plates were practically destroyed was. activate phase shift and then he removed them and then threw them at me which instantly hit me even with my increased time perception.

After the metal plates were used up he then disappeared from my sight and then reappeared as his sword nearly decapitated me in a downward stab. I quickly activated the skill that had only recently become available to me, The Mortal God's Barrier. It shattered the sword and then I, using his surprise and shock to my advantage, activated phase shift, pulled out the other two swords and threw them at his limbs. They hit and removed his leg and both arms at the joints, from his body leaving him crippled. Then moving closer to him and placing my sword a few centimetres away from his throat deactivated phase shift.

"Surrender?" I asked in complete confidence.

"You win." I then withdrew my sword and then stored it in that place where things I can summon go.

"You nearly won the duel Seb. Nearly, would've won if I didn't take Locky's barrier skill. Goes to show that integration's very important in battle's." I said somewhat light heartedly as I pulled him to his feet.

"Seb, you wanna mythril set of your armour? Mythril, as in no leather just mythril with mythril plates where your metal ones were before." I explained quickly.

"Sure. How much DP will it cost? Because I'll foot the bill if I can afford it." He became very suspicious of the offer really quickly.

"Samuel." I said with what would be a smug expression on my face.

400 DP, 100 followers or 52000 faith

"Seb, it only costs 400 nothing much. No need to pay me back." I said casually as I bought and then chucked the armour set at him. He caught it and looked from the armour set and then back to me a couple times before I went lower into the dungeon.

50 Minutes later...

I'd summoned 30 frontline fighters using my summoning skill, 7 mages, 20 archers and 20 healers. After all this time, I only just recently changed the body of my summons. First of all they had 6 limbs now so 4 arms, very useful for frontline fighters and using either a modified bow, any crossbow or 2 small hunting bows or something similar, incredibly effective for archers or crossbowmen. Second change was I made their bones much tougher, by making them out of a qi and mana with an iron base, they were much stronger then I added a bunch of flesh that really didn't mean anything to them. My third and final change was adding a core that would explode a couple metres in each direction when the summon was killed. To kill them destroy the core that was implanted randomly in their bodies.

I'd come down to the battleground to improve the control over my minions and my troops in general as well as trying to modify my minion's bodies.

We advanced slowly in a more curved version of the arrow head formation. The warriors were on the front and everyone else were behind them in the centre. We made our way through the swampy forest, I chose it because why the fuck not? We were occasionally attack but nothing major so probing. It took about 20 minutes before we were fucked.

Orcs. Big, muscular, brutish, savage, sharp teeth and claws. These bastards were warriors at worst. They had chainmail and steel swords, a fair few steel swords, and then... The bosses walked out. 5 hulking masses of flesh and muscle. Orcs all have tanned skin but these bosses, their skin was really fucking tanned but that's not what was worrying me. I could beat these bastards no problem it's just the last time I was here there were 52 bosses that weren't commanders and another 200 that were. I know the dungeon scales the battlegrounds for us but I know there's at least one commander out there, probably with reinforcements.

Thinking quickly, I mentally ordered the mages to chant ice spells and had the warriors come back in to form a circle as the orcs closed in around us. Then I ordered the archers to fire.......... all of hell broke loose there. Arrows feel onto the orcs killing a few of their considerable number. The mages casted their spells targeting the bosses and the areas around the bosses. I left my minions to their own devices as I escaped the formation and went where I hoped their commander or commanders would be.

The trees flying towards my minions told me how the enemy commander was. Mithril skin. Mithril is inferior by far to mythril but fuck it is still a very tough mineral to do anything to. Mithril skin had mithril for skin and a lot of strength allowing him to uproot trees and peg them at us. Judging by the number coming towards us I guessed correctly that they were from the generic boss, big orc chief. They look the same as the one's down their dying from my minions and soon to be flying trees, except that they wore armour and used either a two-handed hammer or a massively long sword.

Equipping my armour I charged with reckless abandon towards the direction the flying trees were coming from. I soon encountered the group. I quickly decapitated the big orc chief that had bent down in preparation to upheave the tree. His corpse slipped into the boggy water fairly quietly which I then used as a board and jumped to kill the remaining big orc chief's. I killed them all before being hit by one of the trees thrown by none other than mithril skin. It hurt but then again, I'd been hit by hundreds of these last time. Quickly the grey-green bastard closed in on me. He was big 3-4 metres tall, a lot of muscles but nothing like what the other bastards had. He had somewhat short hair and really big tusks and he wore heavy plate mail and wielded a massive chain mace with an even bigger and longer black iron club over his back.

He sent the mace flying my way as I raised my tower shield to block it. I know from prior experience that my shield will block it but I'll be sent back 2-3 metres. As my experience had said, so did it follow, but I threw my secondary and tertiary swords at him which dealt significant damage but not enough as he still ad both his arms. Bleeding heavily now, he moved back so that I was just in the range of his mace. He started swinging his mace, building up the momentum to such a degree that I would be unable to block it. I then prepared for his throw.

Finally, he threw his mace again which nearly disappeared from my sight due to it's speed. Activating phase shift, I swiftly moved to engage. He couldn't see me and with his overextended arm, he was incredibly vulnerable to my next 5 slashes. One hack off his right arm at the elbow, the next dropped his height considerably due to his lack of anything below his knees, the next removed his left arm from the shoulder and then next two destroyed his abdomen completely and then he disappeared in a flash of light.

"Well, at least I know who brings that bastard in. "k dungeon I'm done give me my rewards." I shouted out.

"Teleporting in 5...4...3.. Ummmm, we got a problem......Are sure..... Heath, we've got a dragon. Teleporting all combatants to floor 1." Shit.

One Teleport Later....

"What level is it?" I immediately shouted out.

"Level 12 sir." There goes all hope of us beating it.

"Okay, Joe do you know any healing spells?" Plan B, battle of attrition.

"One that'll heal you guys 5% of your max HP." That's really good but at the same time not good enough. Plan C suicidal charge.

"Okay everyone pack up and move to level 2. Joe stay here but try to keep us in sight. Jaxx, Christian and Seb, get ready for a suicidal plan."

"Hey Seb," I said as I walked up to the guy in question, "what do you need for you to morph into something?"

"Ingest some part of the thing's body or I need to know everything about the species. So, all sub-species, how it gets to said sub-species, strengths, weaknesses, traits everything."

"Okay, what morphs do you have available?" I asked immediately after he answered me.

"Bear, panther and giant eagle. None of them are good against a dragon though."

"Okay, hang back and try to eat one of the dragon's body parts." With that I walked off to the entrance to observe this bastard.

Making my way over to the mouth of the floor, I saw a big, red dragon. I couldn't give you an estimate on it's size especially from this distance but it looked pretty big from here. I think I saw a rider on it but I could be mistaken. Appraisal.

Name: Aldermer Race: Great Dragon Level: 12 Titles: Slaughterer, Orphan maker, Arsonist, Pyromaniac, The enslaved one, Mount Status: Enslaved to Duke Arnold Banesworth Highest stat: Str

So the bastards enslaved. Kill the rider and we might be able to win. Appraisal Duke Arnold Banesworth.

Name: Arnold Banesworth Race: High Elf Level:20+

Fuck.

Heading back in I said in a voice I use for when I'm fucked, "We got a level 12 great dragon being rode by a level 20 plus High Elf who's a duke of most likely this empire."

"So, let's kill the High Elf. Fuck the Thalmor, Skyrim belongs to the Nords! And Kharjo." Christian was given an applause for that statement.

"I got nothing better to do. Joe here. It's TMG's barrier. We're all gonna die but you might survive if you can avoid being burnt to death if the dragon breathes fire in here. Though if that happens the rider will kill you. Dungeon, if the rider enters tell my army to go to the battleground, they'll be your defenders on top of what you summon."

"Let's go." And with that we went towards our deaths.

"Jaxx, get behind cover, Christian, disappear. Duke Arnold Banesworth!!!" This'll kill my non-existent throat.

"Why do you come!!!!" I shouted out to the Duke.

He turned his attention to me before leading Aldermer towards me. He hovered in the air a couple metres above and in front of me. The Duke was wearing full plate mail, a silvery colour to it with a coat of arms that I couldn't see very clearly on his right shoulder.

"I approach, Heath, because the army sent to deal with you and your petty mercenaries, are dead. Care to tell me why?" The arrogance was pissing me off but I gotta swallow it.

"The fuck wit leading they said and I quote, 'The Empire calls peace with you mercenaries. Soldiers attack,' and then they attacked and I killed them. Simply." I really hope he doesn't want to continue.

"Why would a commander of an army call peace in the Empire's name and then break his and the Empire's word?" He continued in arrogant tone.

"I assumed because he was out of it or he was a dishonourable bitch."

"DO NOT CALL MY FRIEND DISHONOURABLE!!!" He roared at me. Okay, cowardice is not good here.

"They were the only two options that made sense to me." I said rather hurriedly.

"You AND your mercenaries are going to die today either by my hand or my dragon." And with that fury filled sentence, Aldermer killed me with fire.

"Hey Death." I said to the pale guy who is still very scary.

"How'd you die?" He asked as if this wasn't the first time I'd come in. Probably wasn't as well.

"Level 12 Great dragon incinerated me."

"Somehow that doesn't surprise me. What level are you?"

"8."

"There's your problem. Please tell me you didn't think you could win." He sounded exasperated.

"We pretty much knew we'd lose."

"Thank whoever you're not delusional. Well, let's make use of your time here. I'm going to teach you how to use a sword, your shield and your armour."

5 Years Later...
