My name is Shane and I am a high schooler, It is now 6 pm and I can't wait to go home. I am currently stuck in an after-school meeting,I just want to go home as soon as possible It's not that I am playing a crucial role in the project but the teacher was so adamant in recommending that we all stay and finalize our project before going home.
I don't dislike the after-school meeting but today is the release day of the new game I have been waiting for, It is called "HumbleCraft". If I was asked what type of game this is, I would reply that it treads its main line in the RPG genre along with a sprinkle of a fantasy medieval-period multiplayer. Honestly, we can do almost anything from Crafting items, weapons, and houses with furniture to even it having a highly immersive Storyline, balanced levelling, flashy combat and freedom of going on an adventure in a new world however we like.
I have also seen the promo of Game which promises that there are various Jobs such as Mage, Blacksmith, Warrior, SwordsMaster, Magic Craftsman, Cook and even Some Hidden classes with are unique to a single User. Although the game has just been released in the evening. The developers of the game went above and beyond for the trial run of the game, They had announced that the trial server would run with a total of 80,000 people throughout the world. Even I gave the quiz and enrolled in the lucky draw to be one of the early players.
I have played some of the other games by developers but they were all pc and console games until now and this is their first time making a game with the new VR-Technology.As you would expect from my luck it did what was expected from it and I ]was not selected. I was almost gonna cry but when I read the consultation email from the game team regarding the selection my mood grew from being sad to excited better along with the email. At first I thought that it was an automated reply but that turned out to not be the case. The reply although from a glance looked formal and autogenerated but if read properly the human charm and humour would shine through. Why would I be excited about an email and not even getting to play the game?

When I was filling out the registration quiz to register for the lucky draw, there was an option to ask a question from the Game Team at the end. Most people might have ignored or asked about the game's hidden secret places or something similar. What I had asked was different, My question was "How many coffee shots did it take to make Kofi kun? ".This is an inside joke between the players and Devs as there was a popular boss called KoFi-kun in the game before [HumbleCraft]. The boss wasn't overpowered but the dialogues it had were funny and made popular as memes. My favourite one was "Kuhihihihi......You won't survive my Ultimate punch" and the boss would spin its arms like a Ferris wheel almost as if he was a child or when defeated it would drop a note mentioning dev names along with how many times they had to do overtime but it was all worth it as the game was something they truly loved.
While I was lost in thoughts on my way home I bumped into my neighbour and best friend since we were kids Mac. Mac scolded me off for daydreaming and to walk properly, he was also concerned about how I was too much excited and normal people wouldn't even be able to recognize the academic nerd I usually am, which is not true by any means. Also who wouldn't be exited I have seen so many of its clips and trailer from original game team and players who tested it and were having so much fun.
As soon as I arrived home, I changed my clothes and picked up my VR-Headset but I am sure I wasn't able to hide my glee throughout the day. I checked for updates and tadaaah!! Here it was finally, I could finally log in to the game.
