Wolk-kun was leading us towards the place where he woke up but as he was too excited both he and Rin-chan kept finding rare herbs and treasures. I tried my best to calm them down but I couldn't they looked really cute so I let them run around in moderation. Everyone was looking at us with kind eyes, time passed and now we were around a place that must have been a central plaza in its prime but now all that was left is broken remains covered in foliage no traces left of its prime. From what I could see the old civilization must have placed importance on animals or monsters as there were many engravings and inscriptions of them. Even after the cruel passage of time, the inscription remained they must have been built quite skillfully.

Wolf-kun howled and we felt tremors all around us after a few minutes they settled down and he lead us into a building that looked like a temple and unlike other buildings it wasn't damaged at all. We entered the building and Wolf-kun lead us to a statue of a goddess. He was sitting beside the statue as if guarding it. Everyone decided to pay their respect towards the goddess and bowed. It is a tradition in my family to offer food as a tribute so I took out some pastry I had bought in the town, I had also made some scrons filled with jam made from fruits Rin-chan had found but it was not comparable to the pastry but I decided to offer it regardless as I felt a handmade tribute would be more fitting. I placed the tributes and bowed and the statue shone in a dazzling light.

When I was about to ask what was happening from the guards I noticed them kneeling and their foreheads touching the ground, I decided to follow their lead and kneeled too.

"You can raise your heads. Are you the child who offered me those tributes ?"- Goddess

"Yes, this child lead us here and I decided to offer these pastries as it is a tradition from my hometown to offer food as a tribute to receive blessings from the gods and please them, I am sorry if it offended you. "-Shane

"No, I wasn't offended, It has been a while since someone prayed here as I had ordered the old resident to move somewhere else to avoid the drought."-Goddess

When I looked around I saw that everyone except me was still kneeling and didn't even raise their heads. Certainly, I can feel the divine aura from the goddess but as it is my second time being under this pressure and I feel like the goddess is trying to suppress her aura as best as she could. The goddess raised her eyebrows did I say something wrong?

Humans of this world rarely see the Gods and most of them deeply revere Eden-sama. So even when we interact most of them are unable to say anything.
