After seeing the proud slime-chan I tried to explain to guard what had happened and as he didn't have enough clearance to decide what to do the Guard captain was involved so we were taken to his office after inspection and slime-chan sat on my as his it was her place to begin with and strangely the other guards would look at us and after staring for a while would nood as if it seems natural and go there own way. It was fine till then but my friend here couldn't hold in his laughter and burst out along with the chuckles from the guard. The atmosphere lightened but it was a nice feeling being laughed at so my face started heating up and I am sure i must look as red as tomato right now. As we arrived near the Captains room the guard accompanying us took a serious face as if the earlier chuckles were just my imagination. As we stood outside the captain's room . The Guard san knocked twice and we heard a heavy and imposing voice.
"You may Enter Inside."-Captain
"Yes Sir" - Guard
"You may leave now. I am Theodore Von Gracia the Guard Captain here from the 2nd Border Patrol Division. I have already heard the situation from reports but I would like to hear from you once again but....Hmmm you shouldn't worry and you can explain without any worries you can address me as Theo. "-Sir Theo
He also looked on top of my head and after a pause nodded as if natural. I almost said "Et tu Captain-san" but I held it in which my face a little distorted but he probably mistook it as me being nervous So he lowered the imposing aura he had and told us that we can address him as Theo-san. Which was a happy misunderstanding. So I began explaining how things went and how we didn't know how slime-chan entered my bag. Theo-san made difficult faces few times when I was telling the story and he explained to us why we taken here.
The first thing he told us was that bringing monster without permit was a crime but as we didn't knew about it he would let it go and when I said so that was the pass the guard talking about he face palmed and said that the guard was new recruit was excellent but not from here so he was probably nervous about me having a monster and didn't explain it properly, He also mentioned that the new guard just came of age which was 16 years here which is around my age which shocked me greatly. No not the fact that people around 16 are considered adult but that the new guard was around my age as the guard looked in his mid 20's if not his 30. Mac was almost about to say it out loud but i held his mouth. The captain probably understood and looked in a different direction as if lamenting something. But he explained to me in detail that adventures bringing monster was a grave crime as it could cause harm to other people or it may also lead a stampede here (stampede is when a group of monster attack a town).

The next thing that confused me was that it wa not normal behaviour for a monster to follow human and not cause any harm. One of the merchants who got troubled by slime was also brought here to identify whether it was same slime. Which made me release a sigh of relief to which Slime-chan went "Puruuu !!!!" so i patted her. Ofcourse It was not you who caused trouble.Which brought us to the third shocking reveal that it was weird that I understood what Slime-chan was saying as It was not normal to understand which was pointed out by theo-san and Mac noded. So he called one of the guards who was a tamer and guard he told me that he too could contact with his familiar but it was only too some extent and he couldn't understand them as clearly as me which made him a little envious. He mentioned that I must have great talent in taming and when I asked how I could get the job he told me that I must learn the familiar contact circle and then name the monster if the monster accepts I would become their master. I was eager and learned the formula from him which was drawn in a parchment which vanished after me using it. It must have been costly but captain said it was nothing and it was necessary if I wanted to take Slime-chan with me and as I was adventurer from capital I would come in handy in the future. After all this it was time for me to form a contact with slime-chan I asked slime-chan if she would like to become my familiar to which she jumped around with "Puruu ru" So I was happily thinking for a suitable name for her. As I was thinking about names my idiot friend shouted some idiotic stuff like "Rimuru Temp-" to which i gave him a punch on his head and continued thinking. So I activated the taming circle and shouted "Rin-chan" and Slime-chan no Rin-chan accepted it and jumped on my chest to which I retuned and gave her a hug. I also got the Tamer job and Taming and Training skills.
