It been 2 days since I met with Wolf-Kun. Yes kun not san, yesterday when I was helping guards understanding what wolk-kun was saying it was revealed that he is still quite young when considered other wolfs around his age. He is not even 1 year old. This surprised not just me but even guards as he was too intelligent and big in size for a wolf that is not even 1 year old. I only spent around 20 mins helping the guards also fulfilling my promise with wolf-kun to feed him something delicious. Rest of the time I hunted with Mac and we both leveled up and now are level 8 which is above average. One of the best thing that happened was rin-chan learning and attack skill (Tackle lvl1) as it is a skill it was much more effective than earlier one more thing I noticed was that I also got some XP from monster rin-chan defeated but it was not as much as I would get from hunting it by myself.

Rin-chan also became friends with Wolk-kun and acted as a proud senior who would guide him around. There was one incident where rin chan taught Wolk-kun on how to pounce on me. The first time I didn't know anything and we became a tower of wolk-kun on top of me and Rin-chan on top of wolf-kun when I asked Mac for help he too jumped on top of me. I even received damage and was about to properly tell him of but I couldn't Rin and Wolf-kun were to proud So I sternly told them not to do this with others. But I wasn't so kind with Mac and half his food was given to Rin-chan as a punishment.

The investigation regarding wolk-kun hasn't been completed yet but we are supposed to meet Theo-san and it will be decided what we would happen with wolf-kun. So I hurriedly finished today's quest and went to meet the captain.After waiting for around 30 mins while feeding and petting wolf-kun, I received a message that I can meet Theo-san now.

"Hmmm, you are not with your half-elf friend today ?"-Theo-san (Guard Captain)

"Yes , he was busy today and will be here tomorrow.(Mac had his karate practice today but he told me to inform him about everything that happened here) Did you get any clues about Wolf-kun ?"-Shane

"Yes, we did get some clues but it is not enough to make a sound judgement about his history. What we discovered is that some bandits were trying to loot the old ruins but they ran when they felt huge magical-power from a monster and a howl. We believed that the howl was from Wolf-kun or his parents but as the ruin were destroyed by the bandits we can't make any decisions yet it will take more time."-Theo-san

"I see. So that's why the guard-san asked me to ask if wolf-kun knew anything about ruins. But what will happen to him now that we don't have any information but I still can't tame him"-Shane

"Don't worry, We will get you a temporary permit to enter this town with wolf-kun but that won't help if you want to move to another town."-Theo-san

"Would that be fine."-Shane

"Yes it of no issue, but we would ask both you and wolf-kun to go with our investigation team to search the ruins once.Also the pass won't be of much help to you as adventurers are free beings who like to travel after all but since you won't be able to enter other towns you will have to stay here until the issue is resolved, So I would like your help with other monster whom we can't communicate with."- Theo-san

"That's not very nice Theo-san and please stop that evil smirk as if you are planning something bad"-Shane

"It is just me messing with you as your face is very expressive. But we would still like your assistance and we will reward you sufficiently."-Theo-san

"Yes, I shall take my leave"-Shane

I got the quest [The Ruins Exploration ] but the rewards were not mentioned so I guess it will be based on what we find.So I accepted it but since Mac was not here I will have to do this without him but I have rin and wolf-chan with me. After leaving the Captain's office I returned and talked about this to wolf-kun and asked him if he would come to which he said "Waffu" and started licking my face. He is a wolf but he resembles a clingy dog more ,Of Course that is not a issue for me as he is quite cute. After giving him a fruit bread as a snack I started preparing for expedition.
